Or some other reaction and/or suggestion? // As appealing as the offer sounded the tall male sneezed and backed away, shaking like a leaf at the moment and yet managing to snort and back away from the stranger. This seemed like a trap so no. " Good-bye. " he responded to the first hello, forcing a snarky(ish ?) grin across his face and squinting his eyes behind his glasses, head shaking side to side. " Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye. I w-was just gonna go l-leave, m-maybe check out that f-forest. " God he was freezing at the moment... Maybe he was just being paranoid ? Maybe not. Either way he was toeing his way backwards, moving towards whatever forest the stranger had been talking about.

Kadyn frowned, a village filled with more wolves? No way, not going to happen. "I... I wanna go to the forest." She whispered, although she knew her voice would probably not be heard over the storm and other wolves. She took a few steps back, just to make herself a bit more distanced. "I know my way around... I think." She mumbled, tending as she brushed against other wolves.

We can build shelter and hunt food in there just fine. Thanks for the offer, though!" Turning back to his pack once the stranger had dismissed himself, he tells them; "You didn't think I was about to let you guys follow some odd, overly cheery wolf back to his pack, did you? The woods may be dark, but I've learned to fear other wolves more than anything else in my years."

Or some other reaction and/or suggestion? // Not thinking about the repercussions of trusting a stranger and only thinking of warmth, Sydney smiled at their invite. "Oh that sounds delightful!~" She turned to the group around her, "well, I don't know about you lot but I'm going where the warmth is. Cause the way I see it, this seems to be the only life out in this stupid snow storm, despite being invited to a party." She flicked her tail and followed after the stranger, not looking back to see if anyone is following.

However, they actually were quite suspicious. Clovis got close to your ear and whispered a warning. "I would be careful."

"Friend or foe?" He drawled, stepping forward without a hint of hesitation. Surely a wolf that would offer them shelter was no foe. "Lead the way stranger!"

Who are you? // My ears flicked, and my eyes narrowed just slightly in apprehension. Briefly, I wondered why I'd even accepted the invitation to begin with. I sat down, curling my tail around my paws. "Name's Balto. Sorry I didn't bring any food - I assumed you wouldn't want to eat raw rabbit."

What direction do you suggest? // I sniffed the chilly air, the wind whipping my fur. "I say we head right," I said, pointing in that direction with my large front paw. "Seems like we'd reach someplace civilized if we head thataway." Suddenly realizing the weaker members of the motley crew surrounding me, I added, "Ah, weaker ones in the middle, please. We don't want anyone falling behind in weather like this. And, if enough of us get tired, we can take a rest until morning when this storm blows over, okay?"

The Gomeisian looked around, seeing white in every direction. "There are no other ways to go than forward." They shrugged, a look of worry on their face.

Can we trust him? Well, it's freezing cold. I can handle this, I'm used to weather such as this. But others? No...no...I don't want to force them into this just because I can handle the cold and they can't. With a determined nod of my head, I turned and addressed the group. "All right - I'm staying out here. I want to see whatever it is that lies within that so-called 'mysterious forest.'" Turning to the wolf who'd joined us, I addressed him. "When I finish looking into the forest, I'll come back here, okay?" I then glanced at the motley crew, all shivering in the cold. "Make your choice - go with me, or go with the stranger."
