hello Talon! You've probably seen me around Kiamaras before. I'm conquest;, formerly Pᴜʀʀ. I've been Pᴜʀʀ since joining cs, but felt that it was time for a change.
I currently own 2 kiamaras: #302, Nabiu, and one of his daughters Blueberry Crêpe. I'd like to think of myself as a great owner of my two kias, but others may see differently. I don't order much art of them as I'm very busy and don't have much to pay for art, but I love them the same as everyone else loves theirs!

☥ kiamara's name ☥
this kiamara's full name would be Anubis Bweha, but is most often called Anubis. The name Anubis comes from early Egyptian mythology, who was decided to be the "Lord of the Underworld". He was responsible for the burial and mummification of people living in Egypt as well as being the most important god of the dead until he was later replaced by Osiris.
The second part of his name- his last name- is Bweha, which is Jackal in Swahili, the primary language spoken in Africa; where Jackals are mostly found. The Egyptian god Anubis was normally depicted having the head of a Jackal.

solitary | cunning | dreamer
☥ solitary ☥
Anubis, like most Jackals, is very solitary. Jackals keep mostly to themselves and don't normally like the company of others, unless it's a mate. Anubis will most days stay in hiding without saying much to anyone, and usually stays in his little cave until the night, when he will come out and watch the stars move across the sky.
☥ cunning ☥
Anubis is very cunning as most Jackals are. He knows how to get what he wants while being deceitful, such as getting food by stealing from another kiamara. He is known as a thief, taking things whenever he isn't in his cave. If he happens to stumble upon someone like himself, he may make deals with them; selling some of his findings for other knick-knacks that they may have stumbled upon. Being quite the collector, he has most of his cave lined with random things traded from others. Not many kiamaras like Anu, as they have probably experienced him stealing their things. Anubis once needed to steal, when he was young, but now that he's older, he could do things himself. Though, knowing how others think of him, the kiamara keeps up being a thief.
☥ dreamer ☥
Anubis is very much a dreamer. He is mostly known as a shady thief, but with all of his time alone, he thinks about what would happen if he could start over and wasn't thought of as a criminal- if he had a clean slate to start over. He also really likes stars, and truly believes on wishing on them. Whenever he sees one, Anubis will make a wish on a shooting star in hopes that he'll be forgotten as a thief or that others will like him. Of course, like his namesake, his hopes are only myths and will most likely never actually be real.

Run. Run. I repeated the one word in my mind over and over, fueling my small paws to keep pounding against the dusty earth. My heart beat faster and faster still, the constant drumming ringing loudly in my ears. Everything around me was completely silent for a few moments, but soon the little town seemed to wake up. "Hey!" I heard the shouts from behind me. "Hey, kid! Get back here!" they called. I tried to ignore the angry cries. I tried to convince myself that it wasn't me; that it wasn't my fault. But of course, they knew. I knew. I was the theif. I dove behind a cart of bread, looking down at the beautiful chain that I quickly took out of the small leather pouch tied around my side. It was a present for my mother, who's birthday was today. She'd been really sick lately, so I wanted to be home as soon as possible. The necklace really was amazing; a gleaming gold with a few ruby charms dangling down. I knew that my mom would love it, and I hoped that it'd make her feel better. As I peeked around the cart, I panted from exhaustion. I couldn't remember ever being so scared, or running so fast. But it would all be worth it in the end. I wondered how long it would take for them to find me. I knew that it wasn't right to steal, this necklace didn't belong to me; but it was for my mom, not for me.
I made sure that no-one was around, and dashed into the undergrowth of the small forest to the side of me. Bounding quickly through the bushes, I rounded the corners and ducked below fallen trees,
