Locket is one of the most mysterious kia's that I have ever laid eyes upon. His true colors come out to be full of grays and blacks mixing with boring intervals. But boring is he not...This is were one is mistaken as Lock is very good at acting and keeping his emotions ''Locked'' away like a Locket.

Locket is very self-arrogant and big-headed, his goal is to please only himself and not to strive for any other but his own being. Of course there is nothing wrong with keeping to yourself but Lock takes this to a whole new level. His tone raspy and dull cutting the air with a piercing pitch, but yet it fits his figure just fine. You could expect no more and no less from a Kia like himself. His moments are clumsy ,bold, and loud as he makes no effort to go unheard. If he is somewhere then why should he hide his presence? Although his is loud and bold he does not like to cause a scene, did I give you the wrong idea? He is not afraid to hide himself from others like he were ashamed or shy but he does not try to act sociable and likes to get whatever he is doing out of the way so he can leave to be off by himself. His actions towards females are not exaggerated or outgoing, as he is not to enthused on the topic of mates or kits. Lock never goes out of his way to please one or to impress one either all he says to a question is a short yet simple answer, not looking to incise a conversation. Lock acts as if he is holding a grudge on the world and just turned his back on life, standing with a unimpressed expression and quiet peace of mind. He is not to interesting or adventurous, and enjoys quiet moments. If you get extremely lucky he might throw sarcasm towards you, but it is a one time thing and one in a million chance.

Image -Early that morning-
It was a dark and drowsy day, lonesomeness and sadness dangling in the air. The wind was crisp and unpleasant sending a rattling chill through your fur causing even the most hollow Kiamara shudder inside out. Lock's wooden cabin blocked the wind but the cold came in like a uninvited guest. Locket sat in front of the crackling flames absorbing the radiant heat that the fire put off. The flames lit his emotionless face with vibrant yellows and oranges that enhanced his facial features. The males haunches lifted from the wooden floor that was covered by a now warm woven rug. His paws glazed over the floor into the less warmed bedroom, flicking his ears he glanced over from the closet to let his eyes skim lightly over to room. He snatched his black and gray scarf and flung it quickly around his neck, walking over to all the windows and closing the shudders that rattled noiselessly in the wind. Before he headed out the door he closed the glass door to the fireplace and watched the flames die out. Walking to the door of the cabin he turned his head to scan the small home to rid of anything else that may pop into his mind and nodded to himself. He pushed the door open then walked out into the chilly air making his muzzle sink into the scarf lightly desperate for warmth, and was caught surprised by the loud crackling shut of the door.

Once outdoors he took to the path into the small village quickly and without really second glancing on his decision. His paws hit the ground in a rhythmic walk causing small specks of rubble to roll out from underneath them[His paws], this was surprising considering that the dirt was packed from all the walking he had been doing over the years and the weather had been relatively dry. He glanced around the gray forest, it would be snowing soon and he better be off to grab everything he needed for winter. As much as he did not want to admit, he did get lonely out in the winter all alone. He was not looking for a friend or mate or even a short term companion, what he wanted to keep him company way a mystery of his own. Confused and mindset he waled into the small town and walked straight into the small store that sold just about everything. Pinning his ears to the ringing of the bell attached to the door knob he walked down one aisle and to the butchers area. He peered over the counter as a unsightly Kia walked up and rasped in a unpleased voice,"And what do you want? he growled. Locket growled in a inhumane way to the rude Kia "A little more respect would be nice.....He ended his harsh words but latched on to the tone. The tender rolled his eyes and waited for Lock to speak once more. I will have a rear elk leg...He muttered. He thought and nodded "That should be just enough meat for half of winter. I can pick more up later. His mind bellowed. He took the leg in his mouth throwing the coins and bills at the tenders table.

He walked on the slick tile floors and glanced from side to side and reached the dairy section. He saw a gallon of milk and he grabbed it swiftly, he then got a loaf of fresh baked bread , and one pound of flour. Walking to the store clerk he gave her the cash and walked out the door. He made a stop in the hardware store and snatched up a few hinges and nails before walking to the clerk. He handed him the coins and the clerk nodded, with that Locket was gone out the door. His paws walked on the dirt path once more and let his tail swing side to side as he had a little energy in his step. Winter always made him more energetic or more dull one or the other. Once he made it home he opened the loose door and set down his things, remaking the fire was a unappealing job but he decided warmth over cold. Once the fire slowly started going he ripped a chunk of elk and got a glass of milk from his fridge. He sat down in front of the fire and ate his afternoon meal.

Image

Once his meal was done he yawned and raised himself from his comfy position and grabbed the hinges and nails. Walking on outside he reached up and slowly replaced the hinges and nails on his door so it could withstand the pressure of Winter at least a few more years. By the time he was done it was early evening and he decided to himself it was time to go inside to relax. That he did he trudged his sleepy body inside and plopped down in front of the crackling fire. There he dozed to sleep......

His eyesight was blurry and uneasy as his head raised slowly. His wobbly paws carried him to the window and what seemed so peaceful turned his stomach upside down. His eyes widened from quarters to half-dollars and his mouth turned into a dropped jaw frown, the first winter storm had raised to its full potential. Snow flakes swirled violently around the cabin 2 feet already covering the ground in a slick and glittering blanket. To most this would be exciting and peaceful, but the sky said otherwise. It was gray and a huge warning sign. He took no extra time to grab his scarf and ran outside into the cold. The snow froze him to the bone and the sky made him feel...Almost small. He pinned his ears and clenched his jaw trudging along in the snow which was inching up his legs by the minute. As the wind got to unbearable he decided to turn back, but the wind had another idea. A sudden burst of air flung him backwards and covered him with snow. Holding his breath he used his paws to dig the the surface and crawled out still taken aback by the winds strength. Shaking his head he made a mad dash for the door, he then realized how lucky he was to fix the door's hinges.
He threw the door open and leaped inside, he pivoted and grabbed the door knob. He lashed and fought digging his claws into the wood floor, he finally got the door to close and he sat back and sighed. He sat on the wood floor staring out into the storm and examined his surroundings closely. His breath slowed as he calmed himself, he shook his head and scratched his ear. Turning his head slightly to look outside from the other side of the house a awful noise aroused. A large smacking noise repeatedly rung inside his ears. He ran over to the window just in time for a huge Maple tree branch to fly through the window and shatter the glass. A awful yowl screeched throughout the forest as Lock held his face and flew backwards. The branched impact flung him to the other side of the cabin, which caused him to hit his head and knock him out cold.

Locks vision reappeared and allowed him to scan the room. The shattered window had snow filtering in, in a light and peaceful drift, a small mound of snow sitting on the floor in-front of the window. The Kia shook his head before trying to stand, the branch held him in place as he struggled to get away. Using all his strength he pushed the branch aside and stood, his head became light and dizzy but his balance remained strong. Before noticing the small blood sketches on his paws and muzzle made his run to a mirror, there they were. Four scars, two on his muzzle and two on the ear. Not major ones just a good story subject he supposed. The branch? Oh yeah! He had it cut down and shaped into a scarf rack,-Lock glares at it heartlessly and says-"It was the least it could do for me.". That's how Locket got his scars, pretty good fire story eh? Thanks for reading!

-All of story belongs to ME and only ME. The idea and such is MINE!!!!If you use it I WILL report you!I worked very hard on this!-

name:
Ionac or Lonac, both are pronounced Lawn-ax
personality:
Devoted - Ordinary - Respectful - Perfect
This flashy boy may look like a player, but Lonac is everything but. He's rather boring in a good way, he's respectful and kind, but he don't got no jazz. He's dorky to the max. He like docudramas, learning, helping and spending time on the pottery wheel. Yeah, as I said, he ain't that pretty boy that the girls all got a crush on. He has a nice group of friends, and that's the way he wants it. He's very devoted to things that catch his interest, and would never miss them for anything. He's a model citizen with average grades. He's organized and is looking for a job in secretary stuff. Quite an interesting boy, isn't he? Lonac may be slightly dull, but he's perfect for me.
story of his scars:
Nothing impressive to tell here, but Lonac's hobby of making pottery earned him these scars. He likes to call them his "battle" scars, even though they're just the result of an accident. If you have to know, he dropped a pot on a table and the shards cut him. Nothing tragic, but silly enough to be a good back-story.

Round and around and around and around we go

Lonac swayed to the rhythm of the music, his deft hands carrying the graceful pitcher. The sleek black tail swished across the floor as the pottery clinked into place on the shelf. Lonac smiled, satisfied for the day. As he turned to leave the room, he noticed the warm brown tones of a pot. "Oops, forgot one" he muttered as he scuttled over to it. Lifting it high in the air, he sighed as the light flickered around it. The soothing music surrounded him and he closed his eyes softly. Sound and Colors blurred as Lonac became lost in a dream. It was only the crack of clay and the sharp stinging pain that woke him. Swiping the shards into a bin, Lonac stalked away, cursing at the blood on the floor.

hello Talon! You've probably seen me around Kiamaras before. I'm conquest;, formerly Pᴜʀʀ. I've been Pᴜʀʀ since joining cs, but felt that it was time for a change.
I currently own 2 kiamaras: #302, Nabiu, and one of his daughters Blueberry Crêpe. I'd like to think of myself as a great owner of my two kias, but others may see differently. I don't order much art of them as I'm very busy and don't have much to pay for art, but I love them the same as everyone else loves theirs!

kiamara's name

this kiamara's full name would be Anubis Bweha, but is most often called Anubis. The name Anubis comes from early Egyptian mythology, who was decided to be the "Lord of the Underworld". He was responsible for the burial and mummification of people living in Egypt as well as being the most important god of the dead until he was later replaced by Osiris.
The second part of his name- his last name- is Bweha, which is Jackal in Swahili, the primary language spoken in Africa; where Jackals are mostly found. The Egyptian god Anubis was normally depicted having the head of a Jackal.

solitary | cunning | dreamer

☥ solitary ☥

Anubis, like most Jackals, is very solitary. Jackals keep mostly to themselves and don't normally like the company of others, unless it's a mate. Anubis will most days stay in hiding without saying much to anyone, and usually stays in his little cave until the night, when he will come out and watch the stars move across the sky.

☥ cunning ☥

Anubis is very cunning as most Jackals are. He knows how to get what he wants while being deceitful, such as getting food by stealing from another kiamara. He is known as a thief, taking things whenever he isn't in his cave. If he happens to stumble upon someone like himself, he may make deals with them; selling some of his findings for other knick-knacks that they may have stumbled upon. Being quite the collector, he has most of his cave lined with random things traded from others. Not many kiamaras like Anu, as they have probably experienced him stealing their things. Anubis once needed to steal, when he was young, but now that he's older, he could do things himself. Though, knowing how others think of him, the kiamara keeps up being a thief.

☥ dreamer ☥

Anubis is very much a dreamer. He is mostly known as a shady thief, but with all of his time alone, he thinks about what would happen if he could start over and wasn't thought of as a criminal- if he had a clean slate to start over. He also really likes stars, and truly believes on wishing on them. Whenever he sees one, Anubis will make a wish on a shooting star in hopes that he'll be forgotten as a thief or that others will like him. Of course, like his namesake, his hopes are only myths and will most likely never actually be real.

Run. Run. I repeated the one word in my mind over and over, fueling my small paws to keep pounding against the dusty earth. My heart beat faster and faster still, the constant drumming ringing loudly in my ears. Everything around me was completely silent for a few moments, but soon the little town seemed to wake up. "Hey!" I heard the shouts from behind me. "Hey, kid! Get back here!" they called. I tried to ignore the angry cries. I tried to convince myself that it wasn't me; that it wasn't my fault. But of course, they knew. I knew. I was the theif. I dove behind a cart of bread, looking down at the beautiful chain that I quickly took out of the small leather pouch tied around my side. It was a present for my mother, who's birthday was today. She'd been really sick lately, so I wanted to be home as soon as possible. The necklace really was amazing; a gleaming gold with a few ruby charms dangling down. I knew that my mom would love it, and I hoped that it'd make her feel better. As I peeked around the cart, I panted from exhaustion. I couldn't remember ever being so scared, or running so fast. But it would all be worth it in the end. I wondered how long it would take for them to find me. I knew that it wasn't right to steal, this necklace didn't belong to me; but it was for my mom, not for me.
I made sure that no-one was around, and dashed into the undergrowth of the small forest to the side of me. Bounding quickly through the bushes, I rounded the corners and ducked below fallen trees,
