Desert Cactus, or commonly called by the name Cactus

Reason to Name:
The name Desert Cactus fits this JBD pretty well if I do say so myself. His tan sandy pelt color with swirly-ish red dots reminds me of a vast, hot, and sandy desert. The cactus part of his name comes from his sharp green eyes and his bright green toes, obviously because most plants are green (actually ALMOST all plants excluding the petals of a flower) and the main plant that people think of in a desert is a cactus (which is green!)


Gender:
Male. I can definitely imagine this little guy as a boy!

Personality:
Defiant/Brave
- Cactus isn't scared of anything really (besides the salty ocean or any bodies of saltwater). He faces any challenge and will fight for what he wants (he usually wins anyway). He isn't scared of a wild tiger or lion: he'll just take it right in a fighting match! Sometimes, his daring behavior puts him in great danger more powerful than anything he can ever do, so he has to be careful too!
Tough/ Powerful
- Cactus LOVES to pick fights so being tough helps a lot. He's like a titanium cannon: easily takes hits but fires back powerful blows. He usually doesn't actually hurt anyone with his claws. The most he would do to hurt someone is leave a small bruise. He's not that mean! Most of his fights are arguments anyway.
Manly
- Cactus has proved himself to be a gentleman. He protects others (especially younger ones, weaker ones, and girls) and makes sure they don't get hurt.
Sporty
-Cactus's favorite thing to do in his free time is play sports. He possesses great talent in any sport (besides surfing or any saltwater sport) but his speed is just amazing. Nobody can beat him in a race. He jumps well too which makes him perfectly eligible for receiving the "Best Track and Field performance" reward. He LOVES to do cross country more than anything though!
Playful
- Cactus is very playful and if not actually fighting, enjoys play fighting. He's always ready to play a game of "Hide and Go Seek/Tag" or any type of tag!
A Dreamer
- Cactus is a daydreamer AND a night-dreamer! His dreams at night are usually about him winning a gold medal for the Olympics in almost every sport at every Olympics Games! Those dreams mean so much to Cactus....When he's bored, he would have calm fun daydreams; nothing scary or anything. Horror stuff only appear in his nightmares!!! Not that he's scared anyway...
Short Tempered and Sensitive

- Cactus easily gets angry and annoyed. He constantly needs someone watching over him. Also, any small comment that is negative about him leads Cactus tackling the person who said it, or at least result in an argument.
Humorous/Sarcastic
-Cactus is very humorous too. Others all laugh at his jokes because they really are funny. His random (ok, slightly idiotic) acts and faces makes others start rolling on the floor from laughter. Even his sarcasm makes people giggle and laugh!
Mature
- Cactus is very mature for his age and doesn't spook often or act TOO childish. Though, he still does have a childish side of him,too.

Favorite food- Sugar cane (Cactus rarely gets to taste sugar cane but he absolutely adores it)
Favorite color- Cactus has two favorite colors : sky blue and pure white because he loves to daydream under the huge blue sky often filled with puffs of fluffy white clouds
Favorite saying- "Sticks and stones CAN'T break my bones and words can't hurt me either"
Favorite Season- summer, "nice and scorching!"

This little jelly bean dragon will certainly not waste any time to introduce himself! Once he locks you in and his sight, he makes sure he doesn't know you and he thinks you're safe. This little guy calls himself 'Palmi the Perfect'. Though, Palmi was not the original name for this little jellybean.
Margarita, Palmi's mother wanted to name her new son Adonis, after a wine she liked. She thought the wine even had the color of her child's peach fur! So, it fit perfectly to Margarita. Apollo, the new father had other ideas. He wanted to name his son Orpheus. Orpheus was the son of Apollo in mythology along with the fact with Orpheus was very talented. Apollo was sure his son was going to be talented in some way, so the name was perfect. The two parents just couldn't agree on a name. That was until Fireworks, his brother said that his baby brother reminded him of palm trees. The two parents finally came with the outcome of Palmi. And their son is quite content with his name to this day.

Palmi is an adventurous little guy! If you expect this kid to stay still or do nothing, your expectations will be dropped as fast as an anchor. This boy is constantly getting himself into trouble and always uses the excuses: "I'm just a kid, I can't help it!" or "But it's so fuuuuunnnn!" Palmi is sincerely just too curious for his own good. He gets himself into things he can't get out of. Once Palmi fit his head into a pickle jar but couldn't figure a way out. Palmi also forgot how to open his eyes once. Even though these things are true, he simply never learns his lesson.
Not only that, but Palmi is very nosy. He wants to hear everything thats happening and especially doesn't like secrets. He wants to know everything he can. If you tell him you have a secret but won't tell it, theres a good chance Palmi would do everything in his power to pry the secret out of you.
This jellybean dragon is very blunt. He doesn't like the idea of being dishonest or lying to others, so he's entirely honest. Palmi doesn't understand why so dragons dislike this part of him. Would they prefer if he lied straight to their face about something they wanted an honest opinion about?
To a seven year old, there is nothing wrong with being selfish or greedy. Palmi rather keep everything he owns to himself than sharing. He can't help it, he wants everything and to keep it close to him. That is including other dragons. His parents, his friends, his siblings, etc. He wants all the attention, all the time. Which is the reason he brags about his so called adventures.
This seven year old is not the brightest star in the sky. He sometimes fails to notice even the simplest of things.

Ｎａｍｅ

Ignis's name has a rather interesting story behind it ; one that looks back to the first few minutes of his life. It was the worst kind of birth that Margarita could have had ; it came sudden and unexpected early birth, there was no time to get to the hospital. The mother of two already gave birth in the house with Apollo beside her the entire time ; the male bean very close to panicking. Sporky and Firework weren't there at the time ; gone off with their friends. Eventually, after what seemed to be a lifetime, a little boy came into the world and was soon placed in his mother's weak arms.

It was Margarita that had come up with a name for him eventually ; it was a spark of fire that had kept her and her son alive, a will to live to see another day. The same fire fought inside her newborn son so why not name him for that? Eventually, the green bean settled on the name 'Ignis' which means fire in Latin, some might say it's a dead language but still, she thought it fit and it really does. Apollo was joyful when he found out his mate's choice of name, giving Margarita his approval though there was secretly another reason for the female's choice of name. If Apollo is the Greek god of the of the sun and if the sun is a fiery star, then why not name her son something after fire? Alright, there was already a Firework in the family but Margarita didn't really care, to her, both her sons were just perfect.

After what seemed a lifetime, it was all over, a small baby held in Margarita's drooping arms but she managed to give a wide smile. She looked at her mate with her both bright and dull at the same time, how was that even possible? ''He's beautiful.'' Margarita's croaky voice was dry and raspy, instantly sending shooting sparks of worry down Apollo's spine before the male figured out what the problem was. ''I'll get you a glass of water,'' he said and without even waiting for a reply, shot down the stairs in a flash. ''Tell the kids to come home,'' Margarita muttered under her breath as Apollo disappeared though the other bean had already heard those nearly silent words, smiling to himself as he went along.

The clomping of her mate reminded the mother that he was still here and she took deep breaths, a light frown touching her feautures. She had already discussed with her mate that she wanted to be the one to name this baby and he had agreed with her ; but what was she going to name him now the moment had finally arrived?

I'm almost done with my form, and I almost have the stories done. I'll have them all in by midnight in central USA time. Quite a few of the people I commissioned for art forgot my order, though, so about 20 pieces of art I was getting are not going to be there. :c
