Niji Ryū

Niji Ryū is a combination of Niji, meaning Rainbow in Japanese. And Ryū means dragon in Japanese.

Now, why a Japanese name? Well, a few years ago my cousin showed me Ōkami, a quite popular Japanese game. But back then I was only a kid so I didn't understand much other than a you play an awesome looking wolf that sparkles. Then a few years later in December 2010, I saw a let's play of Ōkami and fell in love with the game as well as the Japanese mythology and traditions. Which inspired me to buy Ōkamiden, the sequel. So that's how I got started with Japanese things and I've loved everything about it ever since, especially the amazing language.

Niji Ryū is a quiet and timid Jellybean dragon, having a lower-than-average self esteem. She is usually hesitant and cautious when trying new things or meeting new friends. But when she eventually speaks to you(Or you speak to her) She has a different side of her after awhile. From shy and timid to very cheerful and funny.

When Niji Ryū isn't outside eating talking to other Jellybean Dragons, she likes to cuddle up with a fuzzy rainbow blanket and read her favourite book(s). Niji Ryū actually considers herself to be a bit of a nerdy Jellybean Dragon, loving many things that are school related.

I really want Niji Ryū because she reminds me of myself. To me, she looks like she has been hurt many times and had a gloomy past. She also looks like she hates her life a bit and tries to fill the void with things that make her happy, colourful things and rainbows. If I were to have more time I would have given likes and dislikes which would have been similar to mine.

But aside from that note I also want her because of her design. A darkish fur colour that is brightened with colourful rainbow accessories. It's genius, as many would agree. This is also the first Jellybean Dragon that I'm trying for since she is the only one who has actually stood out to me. She is beautiful in her own way, whether that's what others think or not.
