Reaction: Would this be the the one throw to finally win? sprig certainly hoped so! There was only a moment to pray with baited breath as the ball whizzed through the air, but it felt like an eternity. Wham! Sprig beamed as the ball connected with the target, sending Froge into the cool water below. Finally! After all of this strife and grief, they finally managed to dunk Froge! Was it worth it? Who knows. Probably not, but the euphoria Sprig was feeling completely blocked out that rational line of thought. Sprig could not help but do a little victory dance. They, of course, felt a bit of sympathy for the now soggy chicoon, but it dulled in comparison to the relief of finally winning. Surely, Slush Puppy couldn't tease them anymore. They weren't sure how much more humiliation they could take from the other chicoon. They made sure to confirm Froge was alright and could get out of the tank safely before turning to the booth owner with their chest puffed out and tail wagging slightly, ready to see what kind of reaction the sassy chicoon would make, as well as what prize they would get! "There, I did it!" they exclaimed.

Reaction: Watching with anticipation, Alastair saw the ball slam into the target in what seemed like slow motion. The initial ‘ding’ didn’t even phase him. He stood there watching as Froge fell into the water in the tank. He grinned. Slush leaped forward screaming, which brought him back to his senses. “OH MY GLOB! You did it on the first try!” She bounced around him as a soaked Froge gave a thumbs up from the dunk tank. Alastair stood a little straighter with his chest puffed out. Yeah he did feel proud of himself. He was happy it took this time one ball to knock Froge off the platform and not like four or five tries. Although he wondered what would happen now. Does he go in the tank as the dunkee or does Froge set up for others to try and dunk them? Slush tugged Alastair out the way and over to the prize counter of her booth. He was expecting her to ask something of him for another turn to try and dunk Froge or send him on an errand to get another throw. But she sat down and grinned. “Seems I gotta get you a prize now Alastair.” [wc-200]

Prompt: Alastair watched as the ride operator for HIgh Flyers zoomed away. He scoffed at how little time he got locked in the tank. But none-the-less he was glad things were shifting back to normal and that the dunk booth's activities would go back to normal. He smiled watching Froge get put back into the tank. He looked around for his son to relate the news but he spotted him coming back from High Flyers. Once his son was next to him he flicked the tip of his tail, "So was everything okay at High Flyers?" Mangle looked at his father and nodded, "By the time I got there and toward the front of the line, Mr. Eddie came back and told me to hop on quickly. Seems Mango the other ride operator was happy to him back so I gladly rode the ride. It was awesome!" Alastair smiled and said maybe he should swing by there and try out the ride himself. Mangle agreed he should and took the ball Slush plopped into his paws. Mangle grinned, "Whelp let's dunk the Froge before we go take a ride at HIgh Flyers!" With that he chucked the ball.

I finally did it!” They chanted a few times, walking around in a circle. “What is my prize?” They asked Slush, turning around to face to small Chicoon. “If my prize is only satisfaction, then that is fine with me. I feel like I am on top of the world right now! Is this how you feel all of the time?” They continued to speak to Slush. “Like you are indestructible and nothing can come in your way?” Everett gave a few passing Chicoons a high five. “Look, that was me! I dunked Froge!” They smiled, pointing at the soaking wet Froge. Everett walked over to the tank and stared down at the wet Chicoon. “How does it feel now that you are the one who was dunked? It does not feel too good, does it?” Revenge was sweet, in their opinion. They walked around the dunk tank with their head held high, tail swishing back and forth. Everett sat down in front of the tank and let out a few long celebratory honks.
