Does it even matter?
They wonder why,
what is it, who's there?
You could try

But do you even care?
Dusty ground
You tried to ignore
the bats flying, but noised are drowned

Itself it couldn't protect
It flees to it's home
It's just too perfect
It assumed it was alone.

Let thy tongue slacken with words the mouth is afraid to speak.
Vampire.
That which is a Monster must also seem Vile and Cruel.
Thine is the breath that makes my core tremble.
Terror is what thou bestow upon what is mine.
And I shiver at the thought of discovery.

Hidden by the shadows
I crave for the time that was long past, for I myself am aged.

My tongue holds its place while my clawed fists pick at the words to write.
Emotions have not dulled through the years, nor fang, nor claw.
Light created from thy brethren has grown engulfing the world.
Shadows no longer contain the dark they once held.
I suffer, I scrape by and I turn to the pleasantries of my pages.

Kalons that glow in the light of the day are ever traced by my watchful eye.
Envy grows in my breast at their own common heritages
yet when spoken to they seem unconvinced of my jealousy.
If they ever felt my words true then perhaps we could become befriended.
For now, I will stay with my green eyes set in the dark of this cave.

Those that jump at my presence startle me.
In my experience, a coward is always scarier than those who are brave.
I don't like to watch as thy crosses and garlic find themselves drawn towards myself
Causing pain can be done in more than just a physical manner...
My dead heart is constantly aching from such things.
Why defend yourself when I have never moved to harm thee?

Growing accustomed to the cold
warmth sends spark like jolts through me.
Shifting uncomfortably at the fire I think about when I will perish.
As long as my fangs may draw my drink...
As long as words still have meaning...
Perhaps I'll linger on past the moments I won't care to remember
Therefore becoming a monster for them to recall.

reading gothic stories and historical
works. Usually keeps to a small group
of close friends, and travels a lot with
them, especially if the destination has
many old libraries. He also admittedly
likes to stalk his prey and haunt their
lives before victimizing them.

As the sun wavered and swayed in the distance he saw
Tonight he’d feast and trot like a nightmare
Scary as his smile and spooky as his gleam
He grabbed a woman and drained her till she did ale
Soaking the life into his veins he flicked his tail
Producing a match he would burn it all
Grinning from ear to ear and calling out for all to hear
He laughed as they ran and feasted as it burned
The people, the prey, those he slayed
Biting a throat he filled himself to the brim
Coughing and wheezing his prey ran by
Flames charred the floors and many souls he did pour
As he made his way to his dwelling he grinned a wicked smile
Years of waiting made tonight worth while.
