I actually had a lot of trouble choosing between these 2 forms for who would get the runnerup so i'm just gonna make two.

The animation was really really cute and the hooded, while may not have been variegated like the adopt, was still absolutely adorable, and fawn colored!! I just really loved it

THIS WAS LITERALLY ONE OF THE ONLY (If not the only??) Variegated rat gif,, and it does resemble the kalon a lot in my eyes!! Really liked the personality idea you had as well, which is what helped make my decision so difficult. :")

Reason being, that gif was absolutely gorgeous. To me, I can see a perfect balance of red and black, like the eyes, yet still see the white and fawn color that is the kalon itself.
