Obsession;; Oscar is obsessed with repetitive behavior, but its not his choice. This is unfortunately OCD that causes this (which stands for obsessive compulsive disorder). People mistake OCD for being very neat etc, but it is much worse. Oscar has a very bad case of this, and hides it as much as possible. He is obsessed with always being clean and doesnt like to be around people who are unclean and therefore is obsessed with health.


Extra: What is OCD???

OCD is an anxiety disorder that causes the victim many unwanted urges or thoughts. The only way to break free of the anxiety is to do an unwanted action, and the urge to do another action comes right back. There are 5 "categories" that most sufferers fall under. The first is washers, which Oscar falls under. Washers are obsessed with cleanliness, which doesn't sound like a bad thing, except in real life people will scrub their hands until they are raw . The next category is checkers, who are constantly at unease unless they are constantly checking things (like a stove). The third is doubters , who are probably best known, who think if something isn't perfect that something bad will happen. Counters and arrangers may have some superstition about numbers, colors, words, anything really ( I suffer from this). The last are hoarders, who think if they throw something away something bad will happen.


How can I help people who suffer???
Simply being kind and treating them with respect is all I could personally ask for. I suffer from OCD and when people laugh at me or say that I could simply not listen to the urges make me feel upset, remember its a disorder. Thanks for reading!!!

A young plumerian breathes hard as heat trembles up her paw. She shakes slightly and sweat travels down her face. Holding a silver rod, she twists it continuously. It seems as if it has... Glass? On the end of the silver rod is soft glass. Like clay, it seems to be soft yet very fragile. Her face is full of determination and immense focus.

Crickets hum outside as the moon and the flame are guiding her like a ghost. The glory hole, that's the name of the source of heat. She sighs and out comes the glass. It's a beautiful shade of orange. Like a candle of her own, to burn forever brighter. She remains stern, and by the looks of it she is the only plumerian in the room. All alone. But that's how she likes it. By herself, when no one can tell her that her design is flawed. Of course it's flawed! Every design is flawed!

She takes a deep breathe and releases it to the rod. Her breathe is strong such as a dragon in a mighty kingdom. Her teeth create a grin as the glass expands. Perfect, she thinks.

She sits down, after heating once again, and grabs a rather old pair of tweezers. Her paws stay distanced from the molten glass. My favorite part. This is when she shapes it. The tweezers twist and turn the soft glass into a shape. What shape? Just wait and see. The colors of fire are still evident. Blazing like her soul. She coughs at the slight smoke around her. One last thing... Yes, great!

She cools it with a wooden block soaked in water. The steam gets in her eyes. But it doesn't matter. The glass comes off soon enough and she sets it to dry. She takes off her cap and sighs in relief. "Today, Brontide. Your first piece after being away for 6 months." she whispers. She looks extremely happy, as if she saw an old friend.

When the glass cools off, it's a vase, blue and purple in color. The sun has risen, ready to greet her. She missed this with her whole heart. She traces the shape of her vase. Quickly, she ran to her bag. Inside are three rather old origami flowers. She holds them dearly, like a long lost family heirloom.

She places them in the vase and grins happilly.

"They look good in there..." she says to no one. "What do you think?" or maybe she did say them to someone... But who?
