A Bit About Him
Drake is a very social being. He loves being in groups and and around people he cares about, much like a bat colony. Bat's are actually his thing, he loves studying about all different types of bats. He finds them all fascinating and not at all creepy. In fact, he is part of a wildlife conservation group, employed as their resident bat expert. He helps to care for injured and sick bats, bats that have tried to have been raised as pets, and even helps to relocate colonies when they get to close to the general population. Not only is this for the public safety, but the bats as well. He clicked with bats at a young age, not only because of his markings but also because of eyes. Due to their particular pigment, his eyes are very sun sensitive, requiring him to either wear sunglasses or to go out after dark. After he was out of school, this was his optimum choice. He's total night owl and he loves it.

Halloween is especially fun for him. He loves and collects all of the batty type Halloween decorations. He also advocates for violence against bats on Halloween, as some select groups think it's "cool" or "fun" to kill them, pretending that they're need for a "spell". This year he's dressing up as Jack Skellington. Though he likes the movie, he mostly chose the costume for it's awesome bat tie.

H a l l o w e e n C o s t u m e:
Thorin wants nothing more than to make the best of his Halloween; he only gets it once every year. One time out of three hundred and sixty-five days, that one special day that makes the rest of the year so worth trudging through. So on every Halloween, he strives to be his favorite video game character (though he will not clarify what video game this happens to be) Noiz. If one has not heard of the beloved Noiz, he is absolutely stunned. He'd happily wear his Noiz beanie any day of the week, and he does, even if it makes his hair a little messy sometimes. He's so in love with Noiz, and more specifically his voice, that he's even gotten some of the actual piercings, which can be found as snake bite piercings - little black studs. He adores Noiz and he does have to admit that he likes the piercings as well as the man.

P e r s o n a l i t y:
Some people like to describe Thorin as distant, and seemingly uncaring, but that is simply not the case. If this is one's first impression of him, usually it is made because the Kia in question is actually distracted with thoughts of something else. He's not cold, but in these moments of thought he can very much be seen as a distant person. One might even go as far as to call him a deep thinker, and they would be completely right with this. Thorin's a deep thinker that tends to, sadly more often than not, overthink things. The sorrow and misery that comes from this is easily vented out through Thorin's stories, and he feels fine once he's gotten at least one page of his composition book covered in ink - not pencil, because he prefers pen ink and cursive from his years of high school in all honors for English. His tendency to overthink pretty much everything (lets face it, he's actually gone so deeply into thought that he tried to go over the mechanics of breathing, that he forgot how to breathe and was close to passing out - which I myself have done, and it is probably one of the scariest things to have happen to you) that he suffers from severe anxiety and paranoia. He's not anti-social, mute, or doesn't like someone; if he is quiet in their presence, it is because he has overthought the reactions to everything he knows is okay to say and he's left with the fear of speaking and ending up with someone offended by or angry at him. Thorin would love to be able to hold up an intelligent conversation with someone new, but he's actually much more comfortable having those that are used to him and closer to him ask questions and talk to the new person so that he can learn from observation and finally be able to feel more secure with what he wants to say. Despite looking up to Noiz because of his voice and appearance, Thorin also looks up to his chosen character to dress up as for Halloween because Noiz cannot feel pain, while the pink eyed and absolutely beautiful Kia is considered over sensitive alongside an overthinker by most that know him. He's easily hurt, and the pain causes him to cling to those that he is close to - which, the main friend and probably his best friend is known as Carson ( a Kiamara that belongs to me, and my only one) who is actually incredibly cheerful and much more social comfortable than Thorin is.

✔Creepy stories/books - but his readings are not limited to that genre, as he is in love with several other books. He reads R.L. Stine, S.E. Hinton, Maggie Stiefvater, and James Patterson. As well as many other varying authors, because he enjoys a variety of good literature.
✔Noiz - seriously, I mean, take a look at that fine slice of man and tell me that you can't appreciate him. Or just listen to his voice and melt into a puddle of goo.
✔Rock music or remixes of rock music
✔Reading because there's nothing more peaceful than getting lost inside of a good story among one's fictional friends.
✔The stars and forming new constellations - as long as he can actually find them again if he looks away for a few minutes and looks back.
✔Works of the violin and the chelo, like Lindsey Stirling and the two young men on America's Got Talent, are incredibly pleasing to him.

D i s l i k e s:

✘Hot days because one - he doesn't like the sunlight to begin with due to his eyes being incredibly sensitive and two, he overheats despite the pale fur.
✘Incredibly cheerful people when it's really early in the morning. He thinks there's something wrong with people so happy so early.
✘Fish and snakes.
Thorin: Anything that cannot blink its eyes is not natural and will probably try to kill us in our sleep.
✘Neon colors or bright pink - the pink of his eyes being an exception. To Thorin, there's just something more alluring in the darker colors, but with the exception of anything Noiz wears.
✘People who can bite into ice cream directly, not from the side or not by licking it repeatedly. He really has this belief that those types of people are some kind of mutant or monster waiting to grow in numbers and take over the earth ( I told you he was paranoid!).
✘Romance movies. Even if the larger percent of them happen to be just as predictable as the larger percent of horror movies, Thorin doesn't want anything to do with that sappy, kissy kissy, mushy mushy genre.
✘Long toe nails or fingernails. It happens to actually have a reason, besides paranoia or a general disliking, behind it; Thorin used to have this friend with really long finger and toe nails, and they'd scratch him a lot on accident and the one time they did it on purpose was the end of the line.

His eyes were blue, so incredibly blue, that she found herself getting lost in them whenever she could make eye contact with the older. Her friends would busily chatter away, touching each other on the arm or showing off a new braid or some type of jewelry, but not the girl that always sat to the far left of the table. The girl with the frizzy brown hair, and those vibrant hazel eyes that said her wisdom carried beyond her age, or the tired bags beneath them that confirmed a lack of sleep her slumping body language and easily irritable nature always suggested. But she wasn't seen that way in the blue eyes that she adored; she was seen as intelligent, beautiful, realistic - not someone preoccupied with snapping as many picture of themselves and uploading it to the online world - but someone who really wanted to handle the big problems. Most of the teenagers in their high school coudln't even begin to fathom what they would do for a real career, for a good part of their new lives, but she knew already. During one of their assembalies, when the speaker asked those that new what they really wanted to do in their lives for a future - without including athletic jobs, such as football or baseball - she was one of three that raised their hands. She was solid, on the outside. The owner of those alluring, capturing, ensnaring blue eyes could see past the mask she wore though. His girl was crumbling - she was his and yet she had no idea of the possessive declaration he had placed on her, no one did - and he was the only one who could actually see the cracks in her mask. The porcelain would shatter for him, and only him, and one day he would get to see the even more beautiful face hidden beneath the surface.

Kia's costume for Halloween:
Cassius loves halloween and cant pass up the moment to make a great costume to show off to all of his friends. This year, he is being a Steampunk Vampire. He loves to go and buy real springs and make his own costume. He doesn't like to have those cheapy ones. So he goes to a mechanical sorte and buys all sorts of gears, springs and tools. Cassius then puts them in water to rust and look old. He then makes his costume out of cloth and those gears.
