A: Yes, Mutatoes with 35+ finished forms are allowed runner-ups!

I only recently started to come across Mutatoes in people's signatures, but I instantly fell in love with the lines and have been waiting for a pretty one to come along ever since. This is my first time applying for one, and I do hope that I'll win this beauty. Unfortunately, my only access to CS is through the iPad, so I can't do anything too fancy with my form, but I hope you like it anyway. c:

REASON
The entire design gives me a dreamy, transcendental vibe. I love how the smudgniness of the clouds and the muted color palette in the tail lend it a hazy, vague feel, but it was with the glowing white hearts in mind that I chose my name. It looks like they're floating toward the brighter part in the middle— "the light at the end of the tunnel," you might say. That and the playful, bubbly design of the body are what prompted me to search for a hopeful name, something that meant "dream" or "wish." I came across beautiful names like Ashlynn, Asha, and Sanya, but eventually decided that none of them really suited a Mutato. I can't quite put it into words, but I just feel that a Mutato should have a simple name — short and sweet— so I went back to the drawing board. Dream and Wish make very nice names by themselves, but I felt that Dream fit this design better. The whole scene in the tail looks kind of like a dream to me. Even the sound of that word reflects the personality that I imagine this Mutato to have: lazy and serene, but intriguing, happy, and curious.
DISNEY CHARACTER
In my mind Dream is neither a damsel in distress, nor is she a knight in shining armor. In fact, I don't even think she's main character material. If she were to be in a Disney movie, she would be the hero's quirky younger sister, young, inexperienced, and eager for approval but not any the weaker for it. She might be innocent and naïve, but she would also be fiercely independent and belong to no one but herself. While the hero went off on his/her adventures, Dream would be in the background working her own schemes. Though she's far from perfect and might seem to be somewhat of an airhead due to her laid-back, I'll-do-it-my-own-way-and-no-one-can-stop-me personality, she more than makes up for it with her spirited nature.
