Why does it seem so happy? She made a best friend. She has always had many- many friends, but never a *best* friend until one very special day. She's now extremely happy all the time with her best friend beside her.

Story:

I remember this day like it was just yesterday.

The fluffy white clouds were gathering in the sky, they looked like candy floss that got stuck up there Tehe!
I remember laying there on the luscious green grass as the warm sun shone down onto my face and fur! I smiled as I closed my eyes and let my body rest on the ground.

Birds flew around singing their beautiful song and melody, as gentle water could be heard by the nearest river!
Chatter began to fill my ears!
"Will you come to the river with me?" One said "Of course!" Another said.

I smiled as I had a lot of friends too! We would always go to the river or under the oak tree and have fun together! I loved my friends very much!
My heart, became heavy however... When I heard the two friends carry on their sentences.

"Of course I will spend time with you at the river! I AM your best friend after all!"

A best friend...

I was friends with all my friends- and we all trusted one another very much!- but one thing that I never had was a *best* friend. A friendship where you are so close to another Jelly Bean Dragon- that you never hesitate to tell them a secret. Or never have trouble picking a friend to go with you somewhere!
Because... They are your best friend. And you have such a special bond with them you never need to think twice about those type of things...

I scurried down to the bank of the river, with my paws gently on the edge of the green grass.
I stared deeply into the water, looking at my own reflection. Someone, somewhere could be my best friend... Right?

I would keep all their secrets! I would play dress up with them! I would play all the games they wanted and make them happy when they were sad!

I hoped someone somewhere would...
I lay down on the grass besides the river and put my head onto my paws. I sighed and began to dream about a best friend. "Do you want to pick flowers with me?" They would say. "Of course! You *are* my best friend!" I would reply back.

And with those lovely thoughts going through my mind, I fell asleep to the sound of the rivers running water.
Later that evening I was awoken by a noise. I got up and stretched, which came along with a yawn. I looked to see what had awoken me.

It was a really pretty bluebird!
They had the most beautiful blue wings and the song that it sang was so gentle and soft that it made my heart soar and beg for more.
I sat under the tree that the bluebird sat in and listened to it some more.

After a while it fell silent. I could have sworn that its eyes began looking at me.
If that was true or not, I still decided to speak to it.

"Oh little a bluebird. I so dearly want a best friend. I would always try and make them smile, a-and I would always be there for them no matter what!
Do you think I might get one in the future?" I asked.

I asked as if the bluebird would suddenly begin to speak itself. But of course it didn't. It just began to tweet again. And began to sing its song once more.

However, I didn't know what got Into the bird next! It began to chase me!
What bluebird chases a Jelly bean dragon!?!
I screamed multiple times as if a very small, timid bird could hurt me.

Looking back on it now, it's kinda laughable.
After chasing me for ages, it suddenly it flew away! What a very weird bluebird! I thought to myself.
Just as I was about to turn away I saw another jelly bean dragon staring into the rivers water.

I was very curious about what the Jelly Bean Dragon was doing. So I went over to them.

"Um, hello there! What are you doing? That's if you don't mind me asking and all"

They looked up to me and looked down in the water. "You can see the reflection of the stars into the water. Isn't it pretty?" They asked back.

I sat down besides them and began to look into the water too, gazing at the stars reflections.
Yes! It looked really, really pretty!
What I had discovered that night was far beyond just pretty though. For I had found something much more beautiful then what the eyes could see.

I had found best friendship.

Yes! That bluebird had chased me to a jelly bean dragon who also did not have a /best friend/.
Over time we became very close.

And now we are best friends forever and forever!
And I hope that never ends...

I never saw that exact bluebird again, but...

I guess if you whisper your dreams to a little bluebird. They will fly and take them somewhere to be listened too.

North Haven will stick with her friends to the very end, and she will always be there for them. Once you're her friend, she will do anything for you; friendship is not something she throws away, unless that person throws it away first - she's not going to put effort into something if the other person doesn't want it or doesn't value it. Probably one of her most dominant traits is her hope. She will never give up hope, even when the times seem the darkest, when it seems like her hope will always be deferred, even when it keeps being trampled. She will wait for years and search for months for something that likely will never happen.

North Haven is also very honest and truthful most of the time. You don't really need to know if she likes you or not, because, well, she likes most people and she won't hide it if she doesn't like you. Not that she will be rude and hateful, she tries to be polite, but she isn't always the nicest to those she doesn't like. Now in her defense, it's because they're not the nicest to her that she doesn't like them, but she can be pretty mean if they start a fight..
Unforgiving
She also tends to be unforgiving. She still remembers things from years ago that she hasn't let go of, she is still bitter about things that she can't change, and even though she tries really hard to forgive, it is extremely difficult for her, especially if she really doesn't like you.
Why does she seem so happy?
Years ago, when she was a mere baby, she and another young bean became friends. They would build snow forts in the winter, catch caterpillars in the spring, go swimming in the summer, and collect leaves in the fall. Metaphorically inseparable.

Before she found out she had YFS, their friends would tease them, saying they would be mates someday. Maybe they could've been, but their fate was to just be friends. That was okay, he was the best friend she'd ever had.

And so, for many years they would bond, laugh and grow together. They would tell each other everything. Friendship at its finest. Many of the other beans were amazed at how the two bonded, so it came as a heart-sickening shock when he came up to her in tears one day and told her he was moving. "It's my parents decision," He explained, "And only for a year."

That year was the worst in her life. She had no friends, the other beans bullied her, and she was just plain bored through it all. But she had one thing that kept her going; the 'knowledge' that he would be back the next year. She just focused on how happy she'd be to see him again. Kept her mind set on his return. The days passed quickly. She ignored the mean beans who constantly put her down. She did what she was told, and quietly waited every night.

And then the day came. "He should be back today!" she thought anxiously as she woke up. She hurried to get ready to see him. The year was over. He was coming back today.

And he didn't.

She had no clue, no idea where he was. She was heartbroken. Devastated.

And it was like slow motion,

"Maybe he meant next year," she thought hopefully. This year was not quite as bad. She made new friends and the bullies left her alone, but she knew it'd be better if he were here. And the year passed. The same thing happened, she came back and he was missing. This happened a third time.

And it was her third year without him. She cried herself to sleep, but she also told herself he would make it. He would come back. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

One day, she walked over to where all the children were hanging out. She was tired, and it was a cold November day. As she stepped in, she saw him. It was a miracle! He was here! She hadn't even expected it. "North... Haven...? He asked. It really was him!! No denying it!

"Yes! It's me!" She felt like she was going to cry in joy. It wasn't a dream, he was actually looking at her, talking to her, smiling at her like he used to. It wasn't like some romance movie. She just had her best friend back.

He told her all about his adventures. His parents had underestimated how long it would take to travel the world. He told her all about Africa, Asia, Australia, The Caribbean, South America, Europe and other places he'd been to.

Why does she seem so happy?
Starburst always has a grin on her face, or at least a half-smile. Why, you ask? Because she wants to be a dolphin! At a very young age, Starburst realized that dolphins always seemed happy, their mouths curved up in a permanent smile. Dolphins were so carefree, so happy all the time, and Starburst wanted to be like that too. So she trained herself to always smile and be happy, no matter what occurs.

He is always so happy because all beans are naked!!
He wears a cape to cover himself and laughs at the
other beans who don't wear clothes and walk
around... well naked! He will often point out that
fact when at formal events where most beans happen
to be clothed just to embarrass the other bean whom
isn't dressed. Tho sometimes he can get a bit out of
hand at doing so he will always be sure to stop if
somebeans feelings get hurt over it and instantly he is
a pile of mush loving on you trying to cheer you up.

The art piece shown above is by me, I think it shows his
happy, playful, bubbly personality very well. It also
shows how adorable he acts but yet how immature he
seems.

Ahh yes, items. Not very creative for an extra
but it thought it would help show his personality
more so here it is.

❤His necklace❤~ He has a Hawaiian lay. He usually
has it wrapped around the end of his tail 3 times
rather than wearing it around his neck. His parents
and family always teased him about his beautiful
fur design and how it seemed to belong to a
Hawaiian bean rather than a bean from Texas like
himself.

❤His sunglasses❤~ Going along with his Hawaiian
themed wardrobe, he saved up his money and
bought himself a pair of purple fading into blue
sunglasses. He usually has them on top of his
head but when he is around older girl beans he
slides them down and slightly nods his head.
Instantly they fawn over his cuteness.

❤He has a pet?❤~ Yes he has himself a pet! Its a
starfish!! Yes I guess by now you have noticed
he loves anything tropical or Hawaiian like.
Yet he has never been to an ocean or even a
lake!! His pet starfish's named Galo. He chose
the name when he was considerably younger
and he has grown to love it and would never
think about changing it!

❤His other necklace❤~ This one he actually wears.
Its a simple sting with a small'ish glass ball filled
with water where he keeps his pet starfish.

❤His plushy ❤~Keeping true to his blood,
being from Texas and living in Texas that is.
He has a plush horse. His parents had bought
it for him before he was born expecting him
to look more like them. Once he was born
they were quite disappointed to see his bright
colors and cheerful design. They did still love
their baby boy tho so they tried their hardest
to make sure he knew where he was from. So
he still has his plush horse.

yes, I know this isn't you average username nor am I your average person. As I love many things, I love this JBD. I love ornate designs and not just a random design. I'm on the quest for getting quality characters that I will use over and over again. This JBD sparks my interest as a lovable character, and she reminds me somehow of a chocolate chip cookie with pipped purple icing on top. [please forget I edited this post 15+ times.]

Yes, Katrina is a girl, and always has been one. She couldn't really be a guy, even though she acts like a tomboy sometimes.

This jelly bean dragon in a nutshell is happy. Nothing could be more true- nothing



Why does it seem so happy? Katrina is happy because she'll stay in her child-like state forever, even if she didn't have YFS, she still wouldn't like being an adult. Even though it'll miss out on some stuff, she says "being a child has taken over my personality so there's no more room for that inside of me. It's now lovingly taken my physical appearance."


Extra What does it hold in it's pouch? Katrina hold in her pouch a small stuffed bear filled with hearts each one holds a wish, and marked with a tally. Only Katrina knows what each wish holds, as it stays within her pouch most of the time or it's hidden underneath her bed, or the floorboard.

She also holds a bag of chocolate chip cookies in her pouch majority of the time, she isn't as protective as her beloved cookies as she is her teddy bear.
