[Centipedes]

Trick, the door is still left ajar, as if untouched since you last visited the night before. You decide maybe it would be best to invite yourself in and check on your pokemon friends. The wood creaks beneath your feet as the floor settles underneath your weight. The air is wet with dew despite the house seeming stale. Carefully taking a few steps forward into the foyer, the creaky door shuts behind you in classic horror movie fashion. How could you not see that one coming, silly? Do you wish to continue to explore the old house onto the second story? I guess you really don’t have a choice.

You step further down the dimly lit hallway, your peripheral vision expanding to see that it leads to a small cozy kitchen with a staircase nestled perfectly into the architecture of this mysterious home. Though you’ve been visiting night after night, the wide variety of characters answering the door has confused you on who’s home this actually is?? It couldn’t be Trinket’s.. She doesn’t seem to stay in one place long enough to invest in a vacation home. The corners of baseboard seemed to be dusted in a thick layer of cobwebs and dirt, as if unkempt for ages; this couldn’t be anybody’s vacation home. You notice the little bit of light casting through the gaps in the blinds, reflected onto a sleek piece of metal on the kitchen island. You reach out and grab the unknown item. Oh, a flashlight! This could definitely help you out on this little side quest. Beside it are a few more pieces of candy corn, which you quickly swipe into your pocket. You receive 3 pieces of candy corn!



After switching the flashlight on, the once dark and cramped kitchen seems to light up with life, revealing itself to be much bigger than you originally anticipated. Adorned with Victorian architect staples from beautiful beveled carvings on the pantry and quaint detailed knitwork in the curtains, you get the feeling that this was once a home full of love. Though it doesn’t compare to the size of modern day wealthy mansions, this would’ve been considered a luxury back in its day of life. Aiming the light back at the hall which you entered through, a well decorated and welcoming foyer sits untouched to the test of time. Maybe the litwick wasn’t confused about her choice of word, “Manor.”
