<3Prompt Response: Borgata's flaws... well, he really doesn't like to talk about them or even think about them too much, so he's not fully aware of what they are but those around him can see it very easily, and they tell him so. More often than he would like. In fact he tries to stop them and it doesn't always work.
For one thing, even with all he has seen in the Candy Kingdom and his experience in the skeleton army and all of that, Borgata is still very naive, just like a youngster. He isn't very experienced and doesn't have the context to know what to expect in an unusual situation so he kind of just goes along with it and gets himself into trouble occasionally by getting neck-deep in something he has no idea about. That's how he ended up play-battling skeletons with wooden swords and flimsy shields, and kinda-sorta falling for the drill sergeant who runs the place, even if that is his deepest darkest secret that he doesn't speak aloud about, not even to Wiggly.
Borgata can't really tell when others are lying to him, either. If they make an effort to appear friendly and truthful he has a hard time getting behind the deception and seeing the truth for what it really is. This makes him gullible and easy to fool, although Wiggly does try to warn him when he senses Bad Vibes, as he calls them.
He's also kind of careless, and a bit of a daredevil. He has an honest belief that while things may cause him pain, nothing can truly hurt him in a permanent way and this delusion about his powers and immortality is a side effect of not having lived long enough to see that entropy is an ever-present part of life. Intellectually he accepts the idea that no Chicoon lives forever, but in his heart he doesn't believe that one bit. After all, he has existed before he can even remember, and surely he won't just suddenly stop... For this reason he has no true fear or sense of danger. In a horror movie he would walk right up to the bad guy and ask him for his name.
Another little imperfection would be the fact that the fellow kind of does what he feels is the right thing to do without any regards for societal expectations, customs, or regulations. That was the case when he kept his parasite, despite the fact that the Chicoons at the encampment, Chicoon-Smoothie, were terrified that they themselves would become infected as well.
What has only become apparent to him recently is his propensity to totally lose his temper and lash out when angry, which he did for the first time while in the battlefield training exercises for the skeleton army. He had just been so upset, so confused, so distraught after being stuck in this strange place and forced to go head to head against others that he acted totally out of character.
While he has never been critical of his own looks, he is very judgemental toward anything that he creates such as the crafts that he is constructing, when he carved that pumpkin for instance. He generally thinks lowly of them while others admire their unskiled, handmade charm.
Borgata is kind of a slacker. He sleeps a lot, loves to eat, and doesn't enjoy doing any kind of hard work. He would rather make friends, collect things, and work on his hobbies instead of contributing to society in any meaningful capacity. He loves to help others, but he isn't a volunteering kind of guy.
He might also be a tiny bit of a hoarder? Like if he finds something he loves then he just feels this compulsion to acquire it, even if he has other things that are similar, or is running out of space in his den. He does keep everything tidy so it's not a filthy place but it does get very crowded and a little bit disorganized, although he knows exactly where (almost) everything is, except for the occasional lost item, which he will find after a little bit of digging around.
But his biggest flaw would be that he is so dang impatient! Like, ridiculously so. He will start huffing and rocking and tapping his foot within seconds of having to wait for literally anything, looking all around him like his salvation may come from any which direction, and staring down a clock as if he could intimidate it.
Wiggly is not perfect either.
For one thing he is a parasite, living off a host body which most certainly doesn't need him to survive. For another, if he becomes too mobile or obvious in the fact that he is not a simple extension of Borgata, others get freaked out. They find his big, blank, staring eyes to be especially creepy.
Wiggly's other failures include his inability to vocalize, which means that he can't talk with anyone except for a Chicoon that he is physically attached to, and so he is basically mute in the world although he can see and hear everything that is going on. But his body doesn't allow him to do much of any sign language, although he can make simple rudimentary drawings using the point of his snout.
Wiggly is also a bit of a closet sociopath, and although he is strictly lawful, if it were considered polite and helpful he would most definitely turn against his neighbors to advantage himself. He follows the rules not because they are ingrained in his heart, but because he intuitively knows what response will get him the most gain in nearly any potential situation, and he works it to his advantage without considering the viewpoints of others.
Finally, Wiggly is sometimes too hard on Borgata. He will wake him up when he is sleeping, criticize his grooming and hygiene, and generally give him a headache with too many orders and complaints for things he feels must be done promptly, while Borgata would more often rather relax, have fun, and just enjoy the flow of life.
