Prompt Answer: It was a clear and cool morning. Ademais woke to the raucous call of a blue jay. He had no plans for the day, and decided to enjoy the spring morn by patrolling his territory. It's not often that he gets such a chance, especially during such a busy time as the Spring Equinox, but something inside him was pushing him to move, something beyond explanation. Greeting the other Tatsu's as he passed, Ademais found himself turning towards to the old woods at the edge of the mountains. The shadows seemed longer than usual, despite the blazing sun overhead. Darkness clung to every contortion of bark and furrow, and strange wisps of light danced in the corners of Ademais' vision. There was magic here, he could feel it, magic unlike anything he's felt before.

Going deeper into the forest, Ademais came across the mouth of a cave. It's great maw consuming all the light that managed to enter. Even Ademais' blue fire-light felt dimmer next to it. Waves of fear and dread wash over him, but he pushes it down hard. There is a fine line between evil and old magic. More study will have to be conducted in order to tell the difference for this cave. He honestly wasn't that surprised to find a cave like this. The explosive magic of the Spring Equinox has the potential to cause many anomalies to appear, and he just happened to find this one in it's early stage. Yes, he will have to keep an eye on this one, perhaps forbid entry to the forest. Ademais clears a circle in the forest debris and begins to carve arching lines and symbols into the earth. A ward to hide the cave from straying, young Tatsu. It won't hold forever, but at least it gives him some time to discuss the matter with the other Council members. Ademais turns to leave, but not before a spark jumps from his flames, reacting to flash of magic from the cave. The sting lingered long after he left the woods, returning to the blinding light of the regular world, reminding him that time is running out.
