Jason is very much not a guy who can fix things. He's far better at destroying things than anything else. He lets out a deep perplexed noise, looking between the tools and the broken machinery. None of the tools look like they'd be particularly useful to him. So instead of trying anything a rational Chicoon would do, he instead chooses to just... whack the machine as hard as he possibly can. Percussive maintenance or whatever right?Hit it until it starts working? Or at least he hopes so, since he's been putting some pretty decent dents into the metal. Though maybe it needed to be hammered back into shape?

Moxie is perplexed and a bit hesitant to even enter this... booth? He looked around the place, he thinks he's taken a wrong turn or two and ended up here..well he wanted to go to Clowning Around but instead ended up at whatever this place is. Possibly where they do maintenance and fix things? Although there is a huge ride up in front as he approached the group of chicoons to ask where the way was, he instead found himself holding a ripsaw and he had a hard hat on. "I- " he trailed off before blinking twice and looking around. Hm.. "Guess I gotta fix this ride? but how would cutting things...fix things?" He asked himself, a little bit terrified of the weapon in his hands, but I guess he better get cutting!
For some reason, he also found some nails and a hammer laying there so he figured he'd make use of them. A loud bang bang noise and ripsaw noises could be heard then poof, animated dust disappears to reveal Moxie's attempts at fixing a whole on the machine, well its definitely 'sealed'- not expertly and efficiently since it took him 2 hours though... but its a start?
Moxie just hopes he wont be stuck here all day long- [211]

lime sighed. he wasn’t surprised that his attempts—in reality, just some minor moving around of wires as he was terrified of further breaking the ride—weren’t successful, and he began to ponder over his next plan of action.
as his eyes landed on ripsaw, lime immediately felt a shiver down his spine. being watched certainly didn’t make him feel any more confident in himself, especially not being watched by a chicoon such as ripsaw. though, in order to avoid any interactions, lime simply pretended like he was fixing something, occasionally looking up at ripsaw and nodding his head as if he was making good progress. i've decided to... whack things until they work
Now that Banana knows that one of the tools is a hammer, she assumes that if she whacks stuff with it the ride will work. If not, why even put a hammer in there?!

It seemed that Etch had been searching the amusement park for hours. He thought that he would be able to locate the blue chicoon who first brought him to the broken amusement park ride, and if not, he would at least be able to locate the large, mysterious chicoon, who was previously called Ripsaw. It seemed that he had searched everywhere he thought the two chicoons could be. Etch searched far and wide, passing by many other amusement park rides, booth games, concession stands, and others alike. It seems that the two were nowhere to be found. Defeated, he decided to mosey back to his previous location where the broken ride was located. As he walked past the ride, a large silhouette appeared in his peripheral vision. At first, Etch thought the silhouette was just a shadow projecting off the ride. As he walked closer he realized that what he was seeing wasn't a shadow, but something living and moving! Nervously, he picked up the pace, walking past the ride. Etch decided that he was going to go back to the shack he had explored previously. Maybe he would be safer observing the figure from inside the shack. Regardless, he did not want to venture further when he wasn't sure if whatever he was seeing was friendly.
Once Etch reached the outside of the shack, he checked his surroundings. Once he saw the figure wasn't nearby, he quickly entered and hid behind the wall. Carefully, he placed both of his paws on the wall before peering through the entrance of the shack. Etch could easily see the broken ride but did not see the figure from before. He waited a moment to ensure the coast was clear, then stepped outside of the shack. As he walked outside, he noticed the same large chicoon as before standing halfway between the ride and the shack. Etch thought for a moment, comparing the size of the silhouette to the chicoon standing near him. He realized that this chicoon was what he saw, and also the one he saw standing nearby when the mysterious blue chicoon led him to the ride initially! He vaguely remembered the blue chicoon calling them, "Ripsaw". Although he was nervous, Etch knew that he needed to ask the chicoon if they knew what happened to the ride, or how he could go about fixing it. Surely, if this chicoon hung around the amusement park, they had to be friendly? He slowly made his way before Ripsaw, hunkering down when he was in front of them. His ears drooped submissively before softly saying, "Hello? Ripsaw is it? My name is Etch." he pointed to himself. "I know we don't know each other, but I was wondering if you knew more about this ride?" Etch pointed over to the broken ride. Ripsaw let out a grumble and threw their paws up, almost as if they were confused. Etch sighed and spoke once more, "If you don't know how it became broken, do you have any idea what I could use to fix it?" he tilted his head. "It seems that most of the tools inside the shack are in pretty bad shape." he shrugged. "Were they always in bad shape? Have you ever tried to fix the ride? Or have you just been waiting to ride it?" he finished. Suddenly, Ripsaw seemed to roll their eyes. They glanced over to the ride and then to an area located behind a concession stand nearby the shack. Etch wasn't sure if Ripsaw actually understood but figured their advice was better than nothing. He watched as Ripsaw stood up and proceeded toward the amusement park. As Ripsaw became lost within the crowd, Etch exclaimed, "Thank you!" and wandered towards the concession stand.
Etch made his way over to the concession stand. Upon further inspection, it seemed as though the booth was pretty run down. He immediately noticed that the metal meant to hold the trailer up was lopsided in many places. Etch circled to the front of the booth and saw the metal frame above the concession stand window was sideways, with one side being high and the other being low, almost like a guillotine blade. He could see the full body of the chicoon handing out cotton candy, but only the paws of the chicoon handing out the cotton candy in the expo window. He thought this was very strange considering Ripsaw pointed him in this direction. This just seemed like a weathered booth, nothing more. Etch circled back behind the trailer before noticing multiple dead patches in the grass. To him, this seemed silly. If this carnival was annual, it would be no surprise to see dead patches of grass where booths reside. At the same time, it was also strange that Ripsaw led him here. He inspected the dead patches, thinking to himself, "What could be the harm in digging to see what's underneath?" Ultimately, he decided to see exactly what was underneath the ground. He began to dig into the dry soil. At first, there was nothing. He decided to keep digging further only to be met with a hard object meeting his claws. Etch continued to dig around the spot and eventually revealed a metal box! After pulling it out of the ground, he carried it back to the shack.
At first, the box wouldn't open. He tried using his paws and claws to open the lock, but it seemed to be sealed shut. Eventually, he grabbed one of the rusted shovels within the shack and was able to break the lock. When he opened the box, he saw that there were a bunch of different nuts and bolts located within! To his surprise, all of these looked shiny and brand new. Excitedly, Etch made his way to the ride. He took one of the rusted hammers and screwdrivers, along with the new nuts and bolts he found inside the box. First, he approached the control panel of the ride. Sadly, it seemed that none of the nuts or bolts could be used to fix the control panel. It seemed that the panel itself was fine in terms of structure, but the buttons could not be used due to faulty wiring and the lights were completely shattered. He had no ability to fix the buttons or lights without proper wiring. Disheartened, he walked over to the seats of the ride. Immediately, he noticed that the nuts and bolts holding the entrance doors together were completely rusted and stripped. Although it took a while, Etch was able to remove the nuts and bolts that had previously held together the doors. He grabbed the nuts and bolts he had found within the metal box and began attempting to screw them into the holes. To his surprise, they were fitting! He slowly made his way through every door of the ride, replacing the old, rusted, nuts and bolts. When he was finished, he confidently looked back at the ride. Although it didn't seem like much, this made it a lot safer! Not to mention, the doors didn't have an ear-piercing squeak as they opened and close. He began to think about the advice Ripsaw gave him before. Maybe Ripsaw knew more about this ride than he thought?

i've decided to... Parking Ticket takes a few minutes to sort through the mess of tools laid out in front of him, cataloging each one in his brain before walking towards the broken ride. He takes one long slow lap around it, then another, and then a third lap for good measure, his eyes scanning up and down as he goes to see what could be causing the ride's failure. On the third lap around he spots a few holes high above in one of the rides support beams where screws must have come loose and fallen out. Humming to himself, Parking Ticket scampers back to the pile of tools and bits and begins to rummage around for a screw driver and a pawful of screws. He knew he had seen them in here somewhere earlier.... Ah, there they are. He let out a triumphant honk, scooping up the screws one by one along with the screwdriver and making his way back to where he had seen the empty screw holes.
Parking Ticket stared up at the ride stretching above him, backing up a few steps and taking in a deep breath before leaping at the compromised support beams, clinging to them like his life depended on it. He shuffled up the supports slowly, careful to not drop the screws held in his forepaw or the screwdriver in his mouth as he inched higher.
Once he reached the empty holes where the screws belonged Parking Ticket quickly began replacing them one by one, shimmying right back down the support beams once he was finished and hopping off a few feet above the ground to land safely on his paws. Satisfied with hopefully fixing the ride today, he brushed off his forepaws and went on his merry way to enjoy the rest of the carnival.

Everett's mouth opened, but no words came out. They began to blubber like a fish as their eyes rested upon the pile of tools. "My name is Everett. Not Bob the Builder..." They whispered, their voice trailing off. All of these tools looked like they could potentially be dangerous and inflict harm upon them. Everett shut tightly shut their eyes as they thought about smashing their finger with a hammer. After a few minutes, they figured that they should at least try to help fix the ride. If Everett fixed the ride now, maybe they would not have to fix any more rides that broke down. They grabbed the 'safest' looking tool, a ruler, and started to clank it against some gears. Everett's mind began to wander as they continued to whack the ruler against the ride. I would be signing my death warrant if I rode one of these rides...

Azul stares back at sharp and pointy black and yellow chicoon, it seems this ride wasn't quite up to standard seeing as it wasn't all put together yet- but... it seemed like ripsaw expected him to do something about it- Azul wasn't a mechanic, he never once thought about becoming one- he had no knowledge whatsoever about carnival rides, nor did he know anything about setting up a ride like this, it looked huge! The ride looked like it could fling a person off without a moment's notice! Besides, even if he DID know how to set up a ride he doesn't believe in himself enough to let other people actually ride on it! Azul blinked slowly and glanced back and forth between the ride and ripsaw, eventually sitting down and pawing at a bolt he had spotted decorating the grassy surroundings. He pondered and thought about what to do for a bit- jumping between a few feelings; hope (that the blue chicoon would come back), pressure (to help Ripsaw repair his ride), and pure boredom. He honestly came to this carnival to participate in the rides, but he expected to participate in riding on them rather than participate in building them.
Nonetheless, after a long while passed and nobody did anything; Azul let out a long and tedious sigh before standing and walking over to the expectant black and yellow chicoon. "alright.." he muttered, grabbing a wrench hidden in the grass on the ground "obviously you need some assistance... i- i don't really know what I'm doing, but i can help with simple tasks if you know what to do?" Azul offered, tightening a few bolts that had been bothering him since he first walked up to the ride. "Where do we start?" the white and blue plush chicoon asked quizzically, glancing over the parts laying on the ground "Do you have any instructions or anything?" he added when he was met with no response whatsoever "or... are you maybe... waiting? For that other guy to come back?" Azul leaned over and picked up a large metal bar, decorated with screw holes, it seemed warped- but azul couldn't tell if that was an intended design of the complex carnival machine or if it was NOT intentional and something he should definitely be worried about, he dragged it a little closer to the base of the ride, then walked around- looking for any sign of pamphlet or guidelines on where to start (or even how far along the ride was already put together!)
