The tantalizing smell wafted into Mikel's lungs, filling him with bliss. He turned to the merchant stall which held the source of the scent. Pondering, he passed a few stalls before finally found the merchant who'd been responsible for baking such goods. Mikel locked eyes with the cat and placed his paw on the warm treats. " How much for a bag of these ? " He asked, and although his voice was soft, his towering frame loomed over the seller, intimidating the cat enough for them to slink back in their post. The merchant replied with a quiver in their voice, and Mikel smiled, placing the fresh treats into his bag. ' Rufus and Junco would love these, ' he thought to himself as he paced back to the guild quarters with a haul of delicious cookies to share with the rest of the guild.
