"There is no limit to how many different things you can make."
Restlessly contemplating about what to do, she sits back on her wooden chair and prepares for focus.
She has basically made everything that you could possibly imagine with tiny pieces of square papers.
Her desk had two layers. One wooden layer, and on top, was a glass surface. Underneath the glass surface on top of the wooden layer lay all of Aribeth's masterpieces. She was more experienced in hands on art than anyone could every be. She could make a paper crane, a paper shark, or a paper anything in the blink of an eye.
Origami is only a stress reliever in the eye of certain people.
This applies for Aribeth as she is calm as can be. Folding papers in a quite room pushes down her stress as she is forced to be calm when making origami.
“Of course, this wasn’t what I had always thought .”
Years before, Aribeth’s stress levels would rise extremely high, which is why interacting with others isn’t really her thing. She definitely needed something to calm her down.
Smack! A light colored paper airplane flies into Aribeths forehead, bending the airplane’s tip.
It came to her. She was fascinated by the view of children tossing around paper toys as they gracefully glided across the sky in a slow motion.
“Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone could be like that.” She envied the children with their innocent little smiles not knowing the difference between right or wrong, although managing to keep themselves happy no matter what.
She ran back home finding a piece of paper on the desk as if calling her out. It was calling her, would she actually go through with this?
She folds the paper vertically with all of her attention. “Slow and steady...slow..and steady..”
Wham! A rock flies through her window startling her and causing her to force the paper down wrinkling it.
“Why you! How do people put up with this?” she takes a deep breath and catches herself eye to eye with a paper flower rolling down the slow moving stream.
With a blink of an eye, she knew what she wanted to do. “From now on, my free time will now be occupied with the mastering of the art of patience.” Dangling off of her, happened to be her two favorite handcrafted bows.
