There are roses behind my cottage. Roses that have, with tremendous age and many a trimless year, ----. They grow with steady persistence, climbing up over the eastern wall and onto the roof, where they find a stunning abundance of sun. Soft peach and pink and the occasional splotch of yellow among the foliage and the thorns.

How tenderly, I have noticed, does the wind caress them. (Due to my close proximity to the ocean, I find that the wind blows quite constantly.) The flowers, of course, ----------

And for the first little bit of the storm I sat out on my porch, staring out through the screen at the drowning world. Petals and leaves and twigs were ripped from my garden and flung recklessly into the open air by the ferocious wind, where they danced among the raindrops for a few short moments before being whipped out of view. ---- EDIT -----------------

Every so often the sky would shatter into a thousand gold-rimmed shards, upon which a sight I would gasp in an odd mixture of surprise and horror and childish delight. Shortly after this phenomenon a terrible roar of thunder would follow, and eventually the noise became so great that I found myself running inside, where I made myself a steaming mug of tea and settled down on my rickety couch to watch some television.

Later that evening I noticed that the pounding rain had lessened up for just a moment and, seizing the opportunity, I dashed out to my porch and peered out over my garden.
It had, as I had expected, been quite thoroughly mutilated by the storm. --------------
And the roses, which the wind had been flirting with just hours before, had been torn from their stems and ripped apart in the open air. (Their petals were strewn everywhere.)
---In a way I pitied them. They'd been so horribly betrayed by their suitor.----------

By the look of the thunderheads still churning in the heavens above, the storm had yet to pass. I hesitantly crept back inside.

hobbies/history: Danny had a difficult time growing up. Many were to call her an 'ugly duckling' , unknown of what really made her unique. She was very indecisive about things and mostly shadowed others and their person. At a young age, Danny found her first love for horses despising many other animals. Riding is what got her started, feeling at peace, free even. Her mother had introduced her into energy healing, doing simple methods for hours to ease the mind and to rivitalize chakras, wiping out the bad to put in the good. It took many healing's before Danny understood her true uniqueness. Blossoming into an intelligent, independent, beautiful kalon, she let out her new found creativity and beauty with marvelous paintings of sorts taking every little detail to thought. While Wolfe may not be an architectural connoisseur, he definitely knows how to appreciate the arts. His love for architecture can be seen in many of his discussions or sessions with the orchestra, using terms in architecture, such as "foundation" or "blueprint" to describe various parts of his musical works. While Wolfe is the conductor, and occasionally the composer, of an orchestra, he spends his time doing many other things outside of music. In his spare time, he enjoys taking walks in the morning with his pet tortoise, Mozart, strolling past different houses and buildings each day. During these walks, he will speak to Mozart and talk about various things in the architecture that he likes, such as the trim or the front door. Later in the day, Wolfe will go with Mozart to the local library, where he reads books and writes music in the basement, where it's quiet. Occasionally, he will drink tea or eat a biscuit or two, and Mozart will snack on kale leaves or cauliflower. The pair will leave sometimes in the evening, and return home, where Wolfe will prepare dinner for the both of them. Wolfe attempts to cook, although he's still learning.
