Name: Barachiel (The archangel of blessings as well as the cheif archangel. Name also means god's blessings. Barachiel intercedes in prayer before God for people in need, asking God to give them blessings in all areas of their lives, from their relationships with family and friends to their work. He is often represented by scattering rose petels. Barachiel was named after an archangel because his father was the pastor at the nearby church. He wanted his son to be fully blessed and therefore names him Barachiel. He also baptised him in rose petals as well. Bara has also shown amazing leadership qualities throughout the years, proving to his father that he was named correctly. However, Bara isn't all that religious. He doesn't mind his name, but hates when people say, " Oh, Barachiel! Like the archangel?! " He is his own person. )

I don't know any of the staff members personally as I'm just coming back into the kalon community. However, I'd like to compliment the entire staff for being so dedicated throughout kalon history (xD). You guys have been so patient, and have worked so hard for so long and you really do deserve every compliment on these pages. Without you, kalons wouldn't be as successful as they are. You ha e worked hard and done a great job making adopts, archiving adopts, and moderating the threads. So I want to thank you all for all that you have done.

There is not one single person who I want to commend more than
another being that ALL of the Kalon community is deserving of
recognition in some way, shape or form. The adage speaks true
in that we are the sum of our parts, as without each other working
cohesively there would be less than what there is.

The staff do what they think is best in choosing their winners; a task
many don't realize is incredibly stressing being that there are many,
many talented individuals vying for the same adopt and who they must
ultimately pass on because someone else's concept appeals to them more.

To the owners, who do their utmost to keep the community healthy in
regulating the adopts, the fc page, their personal lives, their online
reputations, being the touchstone to their staff and much more, they
make up the backbone of this amazing force even when there are a
fair number of them who would call them otherwise. I myself had
opposition toward them but they answered my questions and were
willing to explain to me why some things were put into effect or
why they cannot change it, which is something I appreciated. I don't
believe I've had the pleasure of dealing with such hands on people
who have a great deal on their plate in keeping things safe for their
members but also as fair as they can get with us without having us
run wild.

To the average members who enter the competitions, make fanart,
do gift lines, host raffles, readoptions, streams for free art, roleplay,
offer help to new members and so much more than I can fit here, they
are invaluable to generating the community and it's them that will
create the most positive sentiment for new people. Some of them
are not so nice but they are few and far between. I've been overjoyed
by how the majority are so willing to hear an opinion that differs from
their own and who don't become so bitter and so destructive as to
accuse others of harmful behavior or pointedly attack others for
being themselves or for making hard choices or for asking hard questions.
