"My thoughts on legends and myths? I don't believe most of them, but they're pretty interesting to read! Wait, I have a book filled with 'em! Be right back!" he says before running off to get the book. You hear a few bangs, clangs, and dangs. "There it is!'' you hear him yell from the other room. He comes back with a thick book, most likely filled with myths from different cultures. "Here it is! It's it amazing?'' he asks you. You nod in agreement. He smiles at you. He places the book down as he sits at the table you're at. He starts flipping through the pages, humming to himself. "Ah, there it is! The legend of Hyacinthus and Apollo! Do you mind if I read it to you?" You respond with a simple, "no." "Okay! So there's this dude Hyacinthus and the sun god, Apollo, is really into him. Crazy how there's more homosexual representation in ancient legends, right? So Apollo descends from Mt. Olympus to say hi and stuff, while still hiding his feelings. Well, anyway the west wind, Zephyr, really likes him too and he's crazy jealous of Apollo. Apollo is teaching him how to throw a discus, and after Hyachithus throws it, Zephyr blows it back and it hits Hyacinthus and he dies. Geez, he's pretty rude, right? Well Apollo turns him into a flower, and that's how we have hyacinths!" he tells you. You're pretty curious about more so you ask, "Anymore myths that you think are interesting?" He nods almost immediately. "Give me a second," he tells you. "Wait... it's already 7:30? I gotta get going, bye!" you tell him, heading off.
