To tell the truth, Dev isn't really into all this star stuff. He isn't the type to wish upon some far-off ball of light, to trace lines that don't make sense to anyone but the tracer. He is the type to try and charm every single person he meets, though, and how do you charm an astronomy nerd? Tell them they're the brightest star in the sky, of course. Which led to a whole conversation about Sirius and Canis Major and other stuff Devon didn't understand at all. But thanks to that one person, Dev can identify the constellation every time he looks at the sky.

He'll tell every new date that the constellation's his favorite because Sirius reminds him of their eyes - a line guaranteed to hook anyone, astronomy nerd or not.
