cherished object ; let's go back 10 or so years to the part of his life before he became the sarcastic jerk he is today. 10th june: a date he recalls crystal clearly. a date etched so well into his mind that all attempts to think about another topic fail. the date that some kid chucked a pebble at him, the very pebble that he carries around every hour of the day and at night you'll find him clutching it in a clenched fist. after that event something snapped inside of him and he hasn't been the same since. it's like that kid broke him. gone were the days where bastian minded himself and in came the days of cruelty. obviously that kid hated him for his sexuality, but to hate someone to the point of throwing stones is ridiculous. to this day bastian keeps the pebble because it fuels his hate fire. every time he looks at that stone he remembers that day and anger starts to bubble up inside of him, inspiring him to work harder and be ruthless if it means that he gets what he wants. it's not exactly a cherished object, but it is extremely important to him.

the one allowed extra ; halloween. one of the best nights of the year. well not this year. in a haunted house he went to there were mirrors at the beginning and he saw his reflection. his insecurities mean he cries every time he looks at mirrors. well guess who was there? that's right ransom. he saw him having his break down. to avoid any more embarrassment he pretended to be friends with him like the jerk he is, but eventually the friendship became less pretend and more real as he realised that ransom was a pretty cool person to hang out with.

The object who's carvings told her a story to keep moving forward and never give up.
Well, to be more explanatory it is basically this mysterious cube you could compare to one of those Chinese puzzle boxes, only in this case it doesn't open.
It is a small box, about 5cm wide and tall and is made from dark oak. On each side in the middle there is a circular hole surrounded by a gold ring with the metal going to the center of the box as well as the holes. It is extremely difficult to see what is at the center of the box as light can't seem to get in. The box is usually blank. When Ataro is suffering from a problem in her life the box tends to change shape. Carvings appearing and representing a story which takes Ataro a while to figure out where the story begins and where it ends, but she usually understands. Though these carvings aren't always self-explanatory and some of the stories Ataro still doesn't understand.
The origin of this box is unknown but is rumored to actually feed off the negative energy from Ataro because when she feels a negative emotion (like fear, anger etc...) to a large degree her eyes slightly glow a light blue and so does the center of the box, the intensity of the light depending on how strong the emotion is. The stronger the emotion, the brighter the light.

Corvus's most cherished item is a small box....Just a box. Now, there is nothing special about this little box, besides the pretty black ribbon that has been tied around the front of it to make it not look bland.

Nope, it's what's in the box that matters most to him.

Inside of this box, Corvus has bunch of notes in envelopes. Where has these letters come from, you ask? To put in simply, they're all of the letters that Cassi has written him ever since they were young little. Cassi loved to write him inspiring notes for when he was down, and she still does till this day. Corvus saved every single one of them in a little box, and when ever he's feeling sad, angry, or if he's even sick, he'll open his little box and reread the cute little notes his best friend has written him. All of the notes are in different colored envelopes, organized in chronological order with the date he received them scribbled messily across the front of them, so that he knows which note was written on which day. He's honestly read them so much, that Corvus can remember exactly what each and every single note says, and he'll often just keep the notes themselves for sentimental reasons. He carries them where ever he goes, and rest assured he'll never forget to bring that plain little box along with him.

Corvus was really a grumpy guy...

Now and days, Cassiopeia has changed his whole demeanor, she's made him kinder, had an impact on him that no one else had. She likes hanging around him and showing him new things that make him awe at just a glance of it. Corvus tries to act like a tough guy around her, but Cassi can't help but see him as a big softie...Which he, in fact, is a gigantic softie who melts at the sight of puppies and kittens. Corvus and Cassiopeia are best friends for life, no doubt about that.
