Who are you? //Alrik blinked as he entered the room. He had received the invitation but couldn't help wondering who the host was. As far as the wolf could recall, he had never been to a party. But his good friend Miss-Terry had told him that a party would be good for him. "Who am I?" he murmured when the question came up. He stared blankly through the holes of his plain white mask as if the question needed contemplation before answering. "I am Alrik Kuraudo" he eventually replied before wandering curiously towards the scent of food.

Alrik stared at the other wolves huddled around him and quietly wandered a bit higher on a snowbank. He lifted his chin to the sky and stared at the storm before looking ahead Through the snow he caught a brief glimpse of a soft glow, his nose catching hints of a delicious Aroma. He blinked looking back at the wolves that huddled together shivering. Someone had to say something. "I think we should go to the left." he stated. "if we follow the river, maybe we'll find shelter."

What direction do you suggest? // You look around all the blabbering wolves in confusion. Move? In a storm like this? "I suggest we walk forward for a few hours. If nothing shows up, then I say we simply dig a den in the snow and wait the storm out." You say, using common sense. "After all, there's no use in wandering blindly through flurries and it'll be warm in the den, anyways. We can take turns keeping the entrance un-blocked, as well, since it's bound to fill up in a storm like this without supervision!."

Who are you? // My ears flicked, and my eyes narrowed just slightly in apprehension. Briefly, I wondered why I'd even accepted the invitation to begin with. I sat down, curling my tail around my paws. "Name's Balto. Sorry I didn't bring any food - I assumed you wouldn't want to eat raw rabbit."

"Seems like we'd reach someplace civilized if we head thataway." Suddenly realizing the weaker members of the motley crew surrounding me, I added, "Ah, weaker ones in the middle, please. We don't want anyone falling behind in weather like this. And, if enough of us get tired, we can take a rest until morning when this storm blows over, okay?"

Thinking back to what she learned in school, she knew that cold air blows in the direction of warmer places. Since the wind was coming towards her she therefore turned around and pointed in the opposite direction. "U-uhm I think w-we should go t-this way" she suggested, unable to stop stuttering due to the cold.
