Favorite Halloween Tradition: (100 words or less) Every year he and two friends rummage through their kitchens for eggs, plastic forks, Suran wrap, and oil. They meet up near their principal's house and prepare to cause havoc... to tricksters! That's right. Every year Cobie and his friends visit the principal's house to protect him from offenders who wish ill against the school's leader. The windows and doors are protected by Suran wrap. They cover the walkway in slippery oil and throw eggs at people to ward them away. If they try to close, the boys can defend with their plastic forks. It's a great time.

Favorite Halloween Tradition: Hazel's favorite tradition would definitely be the annual "pumpkin bowling" Sounds pretty weird to do on halloween, but its something that runs in her family. At around 12:30, she and her friends will grab all of the pumpkins from their houses, which are pretty much useless by that point, but they line them up in the driveway. Then, they take turns rolling a bowling ball into the pumpkins. The rule are simple, whoever can break all of them first, wins!

Emily adores dressing up, but her favorite tradition is one she made up herself. At 7 PM, when it's getting dark, she puts on her little wolf costume and tries to get as many treats as possible before 11:45 PM. She then races back to her house and has a bit of water and waits until... the sugar hour. Emily refrains from eating any treats, until midnight.
At exactly midnight, -not a second before!- she chows down on all the candy she has achieved and falls asleep abruptly afterwards.
Talk about a sugar crash!

Favorite Halloween Tradition: Ever since Jay was in kindergarden, he enjoyed trick-or-treating. He would dress up as his favorite character and dart out the door as the clock struck 8 pm. However, when he was in middle school, he got braces and started to dislike the fact that he couldn't eat some of his candy earnings. So Jay turned to making intricate carvings into pumpkins. Candles inside the pumpkins would illuminate his brilliant designs as well as his heart with pride. Instead of trick-or-treating, he started sitting on his porch, handing out candy to those who are excited as he once was.

Louineen is very sensitive to high rates of sugar, so instead of candy, her family supplies fun by carving. However, instead of pumpkins, her family enjoys carving watermelons. It's a creative turn to a popular tradition. They usually only get one watermelon though, working as a team to prefect it. Because watermelons go back much, much faster, they usually eat it that same night, while watching a movie and cuddling on the couch.

Favorite Halloween Tradition: Unlike many, Amara and her family do not carve pumpkins, though they do participate in something similar. Her father owns a small-scale farm, in which he grows beets and turnips primarily. So, her family all goes out in the field and picks the biggest beets and turnips three days before Halloween. Then they all gather, including the extended family, and carve turnips and beets in a huge potluck party. Additionally, they will vote on the best-carved turnip or beet - Amara has won twice.
