➳➳how did the wings get there? well, at a very, very young age, Auden dreamed quite a bit. and one time she dreamt about having wings and everything she imagined, until it all went away. she believed it would come back, so she tried to go back to sleep to make it come back. and it did, but she only had wings and a halo. not everything was the same. so she kept dreaming until that was all she got and nothing worked to get anything back. she didn't wake up though, always will and always has been living a dream, literally.

Tiana's biggest achievement is when she was finally able to "flutter" for the first time. She was overjoyed when she felt her paws lift off the ground, even for a few seconds.

biggest fear ; Tiana's biggest fear is being judged because of her small wings and the fact they can't fly because they can't bear all her weight. And to add to that, there are very, very few plumie's with wings and she feels targeted. [ but in reality she is unique in her own way; makes others jealous ]

weakness ; being made fun of or being called "weird" or when others whisper "what's wrong with her" behind her back. she's a self-conscious girl and remarks like these only make her self-esteem drop.

even for a young girl, Tiana has always been a thoughtful girl of how others feel physically and mentally. she always takes into consideration about what is about to come out of her mouth because she would never want to hurt another's feelings, even if it were an accident. if anyone is in need of help, Tiana will always be there to help. she is smarter than your average eight year old and actually thinks and processes the intellectual information of how others may feel and makes sure she doesn't say something wrong and tries to make them feel better. ever since she was just a baby, Tiana has shown the biggest compassion towards other plumerians and treats each and everyone the way she wants to be treated. Tiana is hardly ever rude to anyone, stranger or not, whether they're rude to her, or not she would never snap nor be unkindly to others. Tiana always looks for the well-being of others and would extend her paw to anyone in need at any time and help all that she can. Tiana is more mature for her age, as well, and has suffered through a lot ever since she was four and would be willing to do anything so that others don't have to feel that same pain. you're probably wondering, how could such a good girl be so... bad? well, with all positives comes the negatives, and this is Tiana's negative nelly side of her personality. yes, it is true, Tiana is the most stubborn child ever. if she wants something, she wants it then or she won't budge. if she believes that something is right while others think it's wrong, she won't change her mind. Tiana will always stick to her head and won't let others come inside just to change some things around. of course all small children are dependent on their parents/guardians so this is a no brainer. Tiana has always been on her own but in place in particular she didn't have the expenses to do so, so she wandered for most of her life. until Meredith took her under her wing and now has a place for Tiana to call home, but is still dependent on her to care for her, as well. oh yes, definitely. Tiana is quite a sarcastic little sass. when she's angry, she tends to be sarcastic or she's even sarcastic just for fun. though she tends to take it way over to edge to the point where you don't know if she's being real or not. sarcasm is a nature reflex for Tiana and most often uses it when she's frustrated and/or upset. it's here way of defense for herself since she's so insecure. some people may say that being a chatter box may be a good thing, but some say its a bad thing. but lets just say it's in the middle. well, when you first meet Tiana, she isn't very talkative though she is very perky. but as you get to know her more, it gets to them point to where you can't shut her up! her friends complain about it sometimes, and often have to tell her to stop and slow down and take a few, deep breaths. it's definitely something she will have to work on. lastly, it is true. when you first meet Tiana, she doesn't like to talk a lot and keeps mostly to herself. well, even with other things, like secrets (of course) or maybe even just general information, there are just some things Tiana would feel much better about keeping to herself than sharing with others. to sum it up, all good things come with bad things, and Tiana's bad side isn't the prettiest.

relationship with friends ;

Meredith -- she is like Tiana's older sister. she isn't a motherly figure, but, yes, an older sister who Tiana loves to hangout with and be around. she often takes after Meredith after all the time they've spent together. Tiana has been hanging around Meredith ever since she was all on her own. Meredith was the very first plumerian that opened up to Tiana when she was left all on her own. most others just ignored her since she was so little and "frail" [ they thought ] that they wouldn't want to be caught around a young, "dying" plumie. Meredith found her alone and took her under her wings. she has cared and nurtured Tiana ever since. but, still, as an older sister. and that's the way Tiana wants it to be. she friends her a much better friend and wouldn't ever see he as her mother. ever since Meredith has come into Tiana's life, Tiana's life has been so much a brighter, and better. Meredith makes the bad days good and makes the good days better. Tiana couldn't ask for a better "older sister" :D

Paxton -- he is like Meredith's boyfriend, automatically making him like an older brother or the "guy that visits her older sisters house every so often", even if he may not be the closest to him. Tiana met Paxton a week or two after Meredith first found her and she immediately liked him from the start. he was super funny and told hilarious jokes that made Tiana fall to the ground crying. she noticed that they both can be total grumps, and often like to pick small "fights" or just play with each other. even though he doesn't live there with them, Tiana still enjoys seeing him and always has a good time when he's around.

how she is seen by strangers ;
whenever strangers first meet Tiana, they can assume that she is just a small and frail young girl. they may see her as s girl who likes to keep to herself than talk to others, and some might find that odd since she is bound to the halo above her head. but, in reality, the small part may be correct for she is a bit smaller for her age, but she is not frail. whenever strangers first get to know her, they can tell you that she is a very perky and softhearted girl and loves to talk with and meet new plumies. some of Tiana's close friends can also say that when she starts talking, she won't stop. but, to strangers, she looks small and frail and anti-social.

- entry one / May 2, 2012
it was pretty earlier in the morning when it happened. I woke up, like normal, and got myself ready for the day. but something felt different today. all my life I had been afraid to use my wings, but today I felt that I could do it. I know it sounds crazy, since I'm so small and that I won't be able to bear the weight, but I felt it, deep in my bones, that I could do it today. after a while of debating back and forth, I finally decided to do it. I prepared myself with a few stretches and then went out into the backyard. a stood in the dead center, closed my eyes and breathed. one.. two.. three.. and then I did it. I felt the pressure in my paws leave and my eyes shot open. I looked down to see my feet hovering above the ground. I couldn't believe it! I was actually flying! except, more like hovering, but it's a start! I had finally gotten over my fear of "flying."

school started ten days ago; I've started third grade! on the first day of school I wore a white sundress and white sandals. it made it look like I was going to a wedding or something, but it went well with my fur. that first day we spent time getting to know each other more, since we were gonna be in the same room all year, and we got to know the teacher. her name was Ms. Dixon and she was the prettiest teacher I had ever seen. she had light brown fur with darker brown swirls and bright blue eyes. anyway, it was the perfect start to the school year.

on the weather forecast last night they were predicting around 5-8 inches of snow so I could hardly sleep last night! when I woke up the next morning, I was already filled with energy as I rushed downstairs to see if it really had snowed. and, not to my surprise, it had, and it was STILL FALLING!! these weren't small snowflakes either, they were HUGE and they were coming down sooo fast!! it was almost impossible to see, but that never stopped me! I ate a quick breakfast with Meredith and cup of hot cocoa and then rushed upstairs to put on my snowsuit. I zipped up the noisy overalls and fumbled for my coat, hat and gloves. I rushed back downstairs where I was met by Meredith holding my snow boots. I took them and quickly shoved my feet into. before I walked out Meredith told me to be safe and to come inside when I got too cold. I nodded and sprinted out the door where the cold air met my face. I laughed and ran into the snow, immediately falling since it was so tall. I picked myself back up and threw myself in, making a snow angel and then making several more. after that I went sledding and made three snowmen!! my day ended with Meredith and I laying on the couch wrapped in fuzzy blankets and sipping hot cocoa while watching my favorite movie, Rio.

Tiana was delighted. Sitting by a lazy stream running though a meadow, it was all just a dream to her. Birds chirped as they flew swiftly overhead, and the stream's water was bubbling softly, providing the base of a simple song that sang itself through her heart. Sunshine poured down, making Tiana feel warm and loved, as if the sun were reaching out to her, in particular, itself. Other than her and the little woodland creatures, however, the meadow was quite empty.
Well, not empty. The field was full of wildflowers, of many shapes and sizes. And oh, the colors! Vibrant pinks to delicate, softer pinks, and purples of bright and light as well. Deep navy blue, teal, sky blue... and such startling red pansies! Orange blossoms were scattered as well. But, her favorites, the little yellow buds that just peeked out of the ground, would always stay true to her heart. Tiana sighed, and sniffed in the beautiful floral fragrance, just as a stranger came along.
The other Plumerian was much larger than she, but a little small for an adult. She had light fur full of spots that was colored similarly to her pelt, and a worried frown sitting atop her face. A blue scarf was loosely tied around her neck, and Tiana could see that the she was carrying a few wires. "What in the world? Why is such a young Plumerian out here by herself? Sweetheart, are you okay? Do you need help getting back home?"
"O-oh, uhm..." said Tiana, startled. Hidden within the flowerbed, she didn't quite expect this Plumerian to have spotted her. "I-I don't have anybody to go home to..." Tiana whimpered, and the stranger muttered something quickly to herself. Tiana was worried, and just wanted to be left alone.
The bigger Plumerian handed Tiana a wire. "Let's make flower crowns together! We can be flower princesses! I'm Meredith, by the way. Are you okay with me staying with you? I'm quite worried for your health, sweetie, you look frail..." Meredith trailed off, lost in thought. When Tiana tapped on her shoulder nervously, the older Plumie knew exactly what she wanted. "Well, start by picking some flowers. Any of them will do, just make sure that the stems are long enough. And pull some leaves, too. Those are pretty important."
Tiana followed Meredith's instructions exactly. She picked a few yellow flowers, and then glanced at Meredith, who was humming lightly to herself. Meredith had picked several blue and white flowers, all put neatly together in a pile. "M-miss Meredith? How many do I pick?" squeaked Tiana, noticing the massive stack next to the older Plumerian.
"Oh, as many as you want. I was picking extras for you, just in case." Meredith smiled. Tiana felt that this Plumie wasn't really so bad. She seemed gentle, and friendly, and trustworthy... but who would love a weakling like Tiana? An outcast, someone different? She doubted that Meredith even cared, even if she was being friendly. "Sweetheart, what's wrong? Is there something bothering you?"
Tiana had tears trickling down her face. The sound of her soft sobs were the only thing that disturbed the meadow's peace. "I-I bet you have a nice, warm home, and a soft b-bed at night, and people love you there and you have a nice family, and you're not a-an outcast, or a weakling!" Tiana sniffed, and began sobbing again. However, her tears began to slow as one simple action cured her sadness.
Meredith had finished Tiana's flower crown, with little yellow buds weaved around larger white blossoms, and dark green leaves poking out between them. It was beautiful, at least to Tiana. Meredith's own flower crown was gorgeous as well, with blue flowers woven into it, and matching white flowers and leaves. The older Plumerian carefully placed Tiana's flower crown on her head, and did the same for herself. "Now we're both flower princesses." The older Plumerian smiled down at Tiana. "I know you're going to say no, but... I get awfully lonely sometimes. I think what I need is a little sister." Tiana perked up in delight. "What would you say to coming home with me?" Tiana nodded harder than she ever had before. A big sister! This was like paradise to her. Finally, something to look forward to, an actual home! "Now, sweetie, what is your name?"
"I-I'm Tiana, and it's nice to meet you, sister."

short story ;
it was a warm, sunny day, a month after Meredith had found me. I had already met her "boyfriend" Paxton and I was finally settling in comfortably. Meredith and I were planning on spending the day out in the meadow; have a picnic, watch the clouds, fly kites, and today, we decided to invite Paxton! of course he'd said he'd come [ because he can never get enough of Meredith ]. we left around noon, Paxton holding the picnic basket, Meredith holding the blanket are wires and I was holding the kites. we found a spot beneath the shade of a lone tree and made our spot their. Meredith and I went off to fly kites while Paxton rested beneath the tree, snoozing. after a while I began to get hungry so we went back and ate lunch. after, Meredith and I wanted to make flower crowns but Paxton said that was sissy stuff and he preferred to not take part. and so, Meredith and I made a plan after he dissed what we love. after a while of picking and weaving, we returned to Paxton as he lay beneath the tree. we held our items behind our backs and refused to tell him what it was, even after he begged to know. we made him close his eyes, after he refused several times, and dressed him quickly in a flower crown and long, draping cape made of stunning red pansies and daffodils. they really brought out his eyes. Meredith and I fell over laughing while Paxton just sat there, grumbling.
"your royal highness, I now pronounce you the flOWER PRINCE!!!"
Meredith and I doubled over once again and this time even Paxton got a laugh out of it.
Paxton kept the outfit on for the rest of the day as we enjoyed our adventure out in the meadow.

hiya, I'm Tiana! but you can call me Tia c:

I'm eight years old and have no parents and hardly any friends. I'm very self-conscious since I am so different, but that hasn't stopped me! I love meeting new plumerians and even some new friends! I'm not very popular in school, but I do have some close friends worth keeping.

When I was four years old, my parents died of a tragic accident and I was left to fend for myself. for two years, I was alone and tended to move from place to place. I rarely ever spoke, especially since I had no one to speak to. I eventually took shelter in a lone meadow with a house right at the edge. I kept my distance for the most part until one day I was caught of guard by a stranger who became my guardian angel. her name was Meredith and she is the one who cares for me to this present day. I don't how much longer I could have possibly survived on my own, but I'm thankful that Meredith found me that day.

ever since then I've been living with Meredith and I now call her my "older sister." she has taken good care of me and I know that she'll always be here for me. since I've been out of the wild, I've conquered my fear of using my wings and now practice on a daily basis trying to see how far I can get off the ground, though it isn't much. I mostly just hover since my small wings can't bear a lot of weight. oh, and I have grown a bit more confident about myself, with Meredith's help, of course.

I like to dream about what my life would be like if I had bigger wings. I could soar high in the sky, fly along with the birds, rest among the clouds. now that would be something I would die to have. it would be a total dream come true!!

well, I have interests in fashion and growing a garden for I have one myself! I like to grow all types of fruits and even some flowers! and I often spend my time in the meadow making flower crowns or at home doing arts & crafts.

I would have never imagined my life to be this way if it wasn't for Meredith who found me that day. and now, I have restored hope of getting a better life; a second chance at life. I am blessed to have such a great "sister" like Meredith.

A barrier, a force, a wall,

Whether it be that those wings are small
Or you can't face such extremes

why do I want her? oh, where to start. I would love to own Tiana just for the simple fact that she is such a precious angel. literally. I love the simplicity of her design and I love that the halo and wings complement her design and structure of her quite nicely. in general, Tiana is perfect.

what are my plans? firstly, I would have a freaking spasm because she would be my very first plumie. and I would go tell my friends immediately because they have been a big support.
art -- I plan on making tons and tons of art and ordering commissions and doing everything so that she is smothered across the community. no one will ever forget the name Tiana Jane Wilkins.

roleplays -- I will find her many friends, pps or not, so that she will never get lonely.

profile page -- I plan on starting a whole thread for my plumies to be displayed and appreciated and Tiana would get the honor of being the very first one. right in the spotlight.

I would love to own Tiana for simply the fact that this is one of the most highly developed characters I have ever created during competition time. I constantly think about Tiana and I'm always creating new things in her new life with Meredith and Paxton. I'm even forming her history as we speak that can answer your questions of what happened to her parents, how it happened, why it happened, etc. I now there may be questions on your mind, but trust me, it had already begun.

to say again, I just can't get over how gorgeous her design is!! I'm a sucker for simplicity with unique touches to character as well as for brown hues, which is what I think attracted me to Tiana. plus, to say, she's a real cutie pie. <3

ever character I create represents me and my personality. it shows my good, all kind and sweet and generous to others but then it shows my more negative side where I'm stubborn and [ very ] reserved. each trait given represents me in the way I am and they way I incorporated into this plumerian. Tiana is very special to me because she represents me, in her own way.

I've been stalking around plumerians for quite some time now, met a lot of new friends, seen a lot of gorgeous plumies, and I've been very excited for the fact that I think I may have just found the perfect plumie for me. I know the stakes are at an all-time high for me in this competition, but I've got what it takes. I won't, ever, back down from a fight.

finally, lets just say that even though this form shows what you need to know [ and hopefully shows why I want her and how badly ], the process of something much bigger about Tiana's life is going to be revealed. big plans people, I've got big plans.
