My name is Kikoyo, nice to meet you! I discovered Kia's one or two months ago, and am currently a non-owner. I did enter for some of the gotcha bubbles and a Nursery Batch Kia, but I really started to like these longer kind of contests and will definitely try my best to call this adorable little guy my own.~<3 He is the last Kia I'll be trying out for, them being closed, so I will give my best. I'm trying to keep things short and meaningful, though, to give you an idea of the things I plan for him.

Kia Name:

I decided to call him Nesh. The names you gave us were really nice, but I couldn't connect him to one of them, so I searched for another name and found Nesh. I really like the sound of that name and thought it would fit him very well, being short and easy to pronounce. Nesh is a variant of "Nash", which means "by the ash tree." When searching the meaning up, I came across a british site telling me that Nesh would also be a slang word for chilblain, which really made me laugh because I thought about making him exactly this. When Nesh was still very young, he couldn't pronounce his name for some reason and often said "Ness" or "Nech". When he writes his name down, he always makes the N bigger than the rest.

Gender:

Nesh is obviously a male and never has been mistaken for a girl.

Personality:

Nesh is unusually laid-back and matured for such a young child; only when he plays with his friends or his sister, preferably adventurous games like hide and seek in the "wilderness", how he calls the forest, he gets wilder. When cavorting around with them, it isn't rare for him to get a bit rough, and Nesh loves pretending to fight in a soft way - he would never hurt his playmates on purpose, though, nor would he let things get out of control: Nesh usually knows when it's time to make a cut. He truly loves his family and would do everything for them. Hating quarrel within their own house, he can't keep his tears from floating when he sees an angry glim in his father's eyes, knowing that he did something wrong - not that he wouldn't want to. Of course, Nesh now is a child, needs and loves his parents, but only a few things will change when he grows up. He probably wouldn't admit, but Nesh will always need his family to feel safe. The young boy is often found with a teasing smile on his small face; in fact, he loves to make jokes about others or himself. "Hey, I'm sorry. Make a joke about me now, come on!" This plus a rueful face is his typical reaction when someone didn't like his joke or found it hurting: he fastly gets a bad conscience and blames himself for things that aren't even his fault.
Nesh has the ability to completely and utterly concentrate on things he wants to achieve or that catches his interest, totally ignoring everything that happens around him. Even at his young age, there are days when he spends hours and hours practising guitar or sitting in front of his drums, softly poking the different ones and listening to their sound.

and sleeps without blanket unless it's really cold

Hobbies:

Nesh's biggest hobby is the music. He has his very own, little guitar he plays on every day, and although he is yet too small to play the drums, little Nesh sits down on his chair very often, stretching his foot out as far as he can to see if he can finally reach the pedals. Nesh loves to the different sounds his instruments produce, and while other children at his school show off their new gameboys or mobil telefons, his pride and joy are the little guitar and his drum sticks he will hopefully use in futur. His biggest dream is to be a member in a band one day, make music and travel through different cities.

Nesh loves climbing tours or doing other adventurous thing - it's a great thing to clear his mind and have a compensation to the quiet hours of making music where he has no opportunity to get rid of all the energy. He once went with his school class to a climbing park and returned with a beaming smile, immediately asking Alias and Numachi whether they could go there again because "it's so much fun!"

Also, he has always been a fan of poems. Starting with simple nursery rhymes, he was soon able to recite harder poems from well known author's. In 1st grade, little Nesh wrote his first, own poem, which still hangs in his room, proudly decorated with a big, colorful picture frame.

Relationship with Family:

Nesh's family is currently the most important part of his life and will very likely always be so. Although the little one doesn't get along with every of his relatives, he would give nearly everything for them.

Alias [father]:
Nesh loves Alias and Numachi with every single part of his
heart, but he sticks more to Alias. Maybe there is truth
in this "mama's boy" thing, because Alias has more of
the motherly figure in their family. Although his "mom"
is pretty strict, Nesh runs to him everytime when he has
something to confess, something happened in school or
he needs any kind of advice. He accepts almost everything
Alias says immediately, thinking that he can't be wrong.
But Alias is also very caring, which makes Nesh feel very
comfortable and sure around him. The little boy doesn't
get why his father sometimes seems scared, because to
him, he is that strong, adult and kind-hearted Kia that
nobody can beat.

Tris [sister]:
Tris is the most important person in Nesh's life. He loves
his "little sister" with every part of his heart, and although
he enjoys to tease her, he'd seriously do anything for her.
He comes to her when he has to show off, wrote a new
poem or learned a new song on his guitar. He often spends
time in her room, quietly relaxing or talking with his sister.
Nesh doesn't really treat her like he would treat a typical girl
since she is a bit of a tomboy, what he greatly appreciates.
In his opinion, this makes her the best playmate he could
imagine, since she isn't afraid to get dirty and is a good
sport at that. She is more a leader than he is since Nesh
is very careful when he first meets someone or explores
a new place, but he quickly catches up.
Tris did manage to scare him quite a few times, so he's
always thinking about how to take a good revenge
because that's one of the few things he totally can't
stand. Anytime Nesh can't seem to find Tris,
he is super tempted to find out where his beloved
sister went and can't calm down unless he knows
where she is.

Sadie [aunt]:
In Nesh's opinion, Sadie is one of the most interesting Kia's
in his family, although he can't really tell if he likes her or
finds her strange. When she's paying a visit, Nesh doesn't
say much, instead he loves to quietly watch her acting and
although she's pretty girly over all, he likes her sarcastic
touch, how she never seems to loose words and how she
alwaysseems confident to him, exactly knowing where her
place in the world is. Nesh, though, sometimes sees a softer
side on her, a kinder, almost loving side that made him
like Sadie after they met a few times.

Soleil ["adopted aunt"]:
Nesh can't pronounce Soleil's name, so he always nicely
calls her "Soly"; but he is pretty much unable to make
sense of her. Of course he does talk to her, but always
feelsconfused after that. She is too loud and pushy for
his taste, and although she's being really nice to Tris
and him, Nesh always feels a little unsure when she's
there. A few hours with Soleil when his sister is there,
that's okay, but for some reason the little boy quickly
starts to feel uncomfortable. They share their strong
liking for adventures, though, and Nesh sometimes
wonder if he should ask her about her previous climbing
or whatever experiences since that is something he
would be honestly interested in.

Summer Melody [aunt]:
Out of all his aunts, Summer is definitely his favourite one.
You could easily consider her as his role model, the Kia he
looks up to. She is everything he always admired: social,
popular, independent and outgoing. She treats the two
siblings very nice, bringing gifts and taking them out.
Summer often comes to babysit when Nesh's daddies are
out of house, and Nesh quite enjoys talking to her.
Being unusually chatty and following her around, he seems
to try telling her his whole life in one hour; something
that's very unusual for Nesh. The little boy feels very
comfortable around her, and a big plus point is her guitar
love. Nesh loves to watch and hear her playing her
acoustic guitar when she's there, being extremly impatient
to re-play what she played on his own guitar. Her musical
advise is very, very important to Nesh and he really
hopes to never loose the privileg of listening to her.

Numachi [father]:
Numa is Nesh's big daddy and the person he enjoys to spend
time with the most, although Nesh usually doesn't talk about
serious things with him. He loves to play with him or ask
Numachi the craziest things. His dad is easy-going and calm,
and Nesh is totally relaxed when being with him. The little boy
also likes how Numachi always accepts everyone the way he is
and isn't trying to change people. Numachi also has the dubious
honor to always be the first person that has to hear Nesh's
newly learned or composed songs, no matter if he has stuff
to do, isn't interested or whatever: Nesh either begs or just
sits down and starts to play, always wanting Numa's opinion.

Cocoa Spice [aunt]:
Cosi and Nesh are pretty similar according to their wildness,
although his aunt is a bit... sunnier than he is and sometimes
too bubbly and cheerish for his taste, especially when she's
calling him "sweetipie." But he really, really likes her and
is always looking forward to her visits, since Cosi
treats Tris and him very well and allows them things his
parents probably wouldn't. His aunt also brings nice gifts,
which makes him feel happy and uncomfortable at the
same time. Nesh runs to Cosie when he has some kind of
success to report, proudly smiling at her.

Bruce [uncle]:
Nesh doesn't really get how Bruce can get along with Soleil,
him being a shy person and Soleil being the complete
opposite, but for some reason he really likes his uncle.
They don't really talk much since Bruce often sticks to his
own and is probably one of the quietest persons Nesh knows,
but the little boy likes what his uncle is radiating, although
he can't really tell what it is. Having Bruce around is quite
relaxing in Nesh's opinion, and he sometimes wishs to talk
more with him - which is more theoretically since Nesh
can't imagine Bruce to speak more than a few words.

Ocean [uncle]:
Nesh really likes his uncle Ocean, even admires him.
To him, he is one of the wildest and coolest Kia's outside,
is kind and crazy at the same time. Nesh often wishs
to be like him, because for the little boy, Ocean appears as
a Kia that simply enjoys his life, is partying and does all
the stuff that the "cool guys" do; and he is casual -
something that Nesh would love to be, too.
Also, everytime his uncle comes to visit, he plays with
Tris and Nesh and seems to be an overall nice, outgoing
person.

Mabel [cousin]:
Nesh usually stays away from Mabel and keeps
conversations with her as short as possible. It's not that
she would be unfriendly or something like that, but she
often seems like a total stranger to him. He could say "Well,
Bruce is quiet," or "Soleil is often loud," but when it comes to
their daughter, he has no idea. Sometimes she seems pretty
rude, then nice. Sometimes she talks much, and sometimes
she's quiet. Nesh has no idea how to treat her, which makes
him either shy or reticent when she is visiting. Nesh doesn't
really like those situations, though, especially since she is his
cousin, so maybe the future will bring some changes to their
relationship.

Marina [cousin]:
Nesh doesn't have much to do with Marina, so he can't
really evaluate her. He is also a bit afraid of getting to know
her better, because he did realize that she seems to act
quiet different around different Kias and doesn't know how
his cousin would act around him when he spends more time
with her. Marina also seems very curious and a bit bossy to
him, which Nesh neither likes nor can understand. Privacy
is something very important for him and he can't stand spying.
His cousin really seems to like danger, which opens something
in the little boy. For now, he is to shy to hold a proper
conversation, but who knows what the future may bring.

As for the rest of his family, Nesh doesn't really know how to feel. He is still young and only started to build up new relationships, so every visit could bring something new. He acts politely around his relatives and answers to their questions, but is quiet as always and prefers to stick to Tris in those situations. But Nesh is curious and after some time, he starts to thaw and talk more relaxed.

Nesh is a baby, and although I could have added everyone in this big family, I decided against it. Things will change so much when he grows up, and I didn't want to develop every bit of his family relations for aforesaid reason.

We now reached the end of the form, so I guess it's my turn. First of all, I want to thank everyone that helped me with this form, gave me tipps. I could've never managed to finish everything without you guys. And I also want you to know that I am absolutely serious about trying out for and wanting him. I do think that this form, the form I did for Nesh, is a basic point to start from, and promise to, if I should win, roleplay him as active as I can and school allows me. His personality will be developed more, family relations will change, grow and break - the part I am looking forward the most (; In the weeks you gave us for this contest, I grew very attached to Nesh and promise to always give him a place in my heart.~

Aden doesn't much of a bond with Cosi,but thinks shes a nice person.He likes going over her house and spending time with her,and loves baking Kiwi Cupcakes with her.Now for Sadie,well..Aden hasn't spent much time with her,so can't decide if he likes her or not.So far,he hates her.He doesn't like her sassy attitude,or her sarcasm.He thinks shes very rude.,and prissy,and girly-The list goes on.For Soleil,shes Adens favorite aunt.Mostly because they go on adventures together,and climb trees.

My sisters secret
A story
It was a late,humid,summer night.Aden was sleeping,and Tris was reading her favorite book.She only read alone,when Aden was asleep.Why?Well,she was known as a tom-boy.She didn't want anyone to think she was a big nerd.She yawned as she hungrily read through the interesting book.Tris soon grew lost in her book,unable to see or hear the outside world she was in a few minutes ago.While Tris was reading her book,Aden slowly awoke from his deep sleep.He shook his head,and got up,stretching his legs.He winced,noticing he had a very dry mouth.He pad out of the room and downstairs to the Kitchen to get some water.He was careful not to wake his parents as he slowly bounced off the last step.He cringed as his foot tapped a vase.The vase moved,wiggling to the side.He dived under it and slowly lifted it back up.Okay..Time to get that water.Aden thought to himself.He stepped into the Kitchen,cool air around him.He slowly tiptoed to the fridge and clenched his mouth around the handle.He pulled it open,and reached down to the bottom for a full bottle of Smart Water.He always enjoyed the little pictures on the inside of their water bottles,and the pureness of the water.He closed the fridge lightly,with his tail.He slowly made his way back up the stairs and into the room.He looked at his sister then put his water down.He sat next to her and read a couple of words off the page of her book."What are you readin',Trissy?"He asked his sister,curiously."Wha-AH!" She whisper screamed as she snapped out of her trance,no longer in the book but in her and Aden's bedroom."Shh!Why did you yell?" He whispered."I whispered,and what im reading is non of your business!" She snapped,cross,But deep inside very afraid."You were reading something..please tell me Trissy!" He pleaded.Tris sat up,and looked down,fear deep in her blue eyes."If i do..You'll tell everybody...And ill be called a nerd..and a geek..." She didn't finish her sentence as her gaze drifted to the bed.Salty tears filled her eyes and fell down slowly and steadily."Trissy,I would never call you a geek!Or a nerd,or any mean name!If anyone ever did,I would beat them up-" He puffed out his chest,trying to look strong and brave."And Trissy..No matter what you do,you'll still be my big sister!Ill still love you for who you are!" Whenever Reed has an accomplishment that he is proud of, he rushes over to Alias to show or tell him about it. He is always trying to get Alias to play a game of chess with him or to read a book to him. He loves spending time with his father.

Tris and Reed are extremely close. She is the one that he goes to with all of his problems, secrets, and rants. She is one of the only kias that he opens up to completely and would do anything for. Tris is different from him, but not too much that it gets in the way of their relationship. If anything, they even each other out. The two can often be found playing a game together (anything from chess to tag) or reading books all day long in their treehouse. She is truly his other half.

Reed and Sadie have never really bonded, they just are too different from each other. He is quiet and clever, she is more loud and rude. He has always felt that she favors Tris over him because Tris is just more outgoing than him. Whenever Sadie comes over, Reed will exchange an awkward greeting with her and then go straight to his room to read. He hasn't really given her a chance, though. She has scared him a little for a long time. He hopes that when he gets older, she and him will bond more.

Soleil is, to say the least, very peppy. She is so bright to the point that it scares Reed a little. He isn't frightened by her, just unsure of how to act around her because he is so much more quiet and she is not. That makes him feel a little left out, and tends to get even more shy and timid. Of course he loves her, she is family after all.

Reed finds Bruce a very comfortable kia to be around, as long as it is not just them alone. It gets kind of awkward if that happens because neither of them talk much. But he likes having Bruce around in groups, Reed gets a little less shy and timid.

Reed's personality is very one-of-a-kind.
When kias first meet him, their first
impression is usually that he is shy,
reserved, and intelligent. That is
all true, but there is so much more
to him than that.

Reed is, to say the least, smart. He spends
much of his time in his room reading or
doing puzzles. He has always enjoyed
excising his mind, testing his limits. He is
extremely logical and not gullible at all.
Unfortunately, he often gets teased
because of this, but in his mind, the
intelligence he gains is well worth the price.

Unlike his energetic sister, Reed is very shy.
He would never be seen striking up a
conversation with a stranger, if anything he
would be hiding from that. He takes the
expression 'stranger danger' quite literally.
He will only open up to a few kias, his
sister, dads, and a few other family members.

➳clever and tricky
Although he is shy around others,
Reed loves to prank others. He is very clever,
and has many ideas that he can use in his head.
Pranking other kias is a great source of
entertainment to him. In fact, his favorite
holiday is April Fool's day. But his trickery
is not limited to pranks; he uses it
to play chess and find loopholes in rules
and homework. He accidentally makes
some of the other kids mad at him by
outwitting them.

Safety and order is what makes Reed
comfortable, so it is important to him
to be cautious and careful with just
about everything he does. He has quite
a few fears, so avoiding them with
caution is very useful to him.

➳caring
Although he isn't the hugest fan of
strangers and likes to prank others,
Reed would never want harm to come
upon anyone. His pranks are always
safe, and if someone needs help, he
will usually step up. He cares especially
for his family members, and would
never want to see any harm come to
them.

Reed's day started off like any other, getting woken up by Tris and having his favorite breakfast of oatmeal with cranberries on top. Afterwards he went out on the porch with his newest book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, began to read. He was well into a tense chapter when he was interrupted by his sister came running out of the door, smiling widely with an adventurous look on her face. She then proceeded to run into the yard and start playing her most frequently played game, which was trying to get your brother to play with her. "Tris, could you please be quiet? I'm trying to read," Reed said, not trying to be rude. Tris came running up the stairs to him and took the books out of his grasp. "You know, you always read all these books about mystery and adventure, but you never do anything like that in the real world! Don't you want to be like these characters? Don't you want to go and have quests like them?" Tris said, giving the book back.
"Well… I guess I could play one game with you, but then you have to let me read whenever I want for the rest the day," he responded, standing up and walking to the backyard. Tris was already far ahead of Reed, having sprinted to the playset.
Three hours and six games of hide and seek with all the neighbor kids, Tris and Reed retreated to their house and up to their shared bedroom. Reed went to their bunk bed and sat down on the lower bunk. The top bunk belonged to Tris, of course. Reed was satisfied with the lower bunk; he was afraid of heights anyways. He took his book out and started to read from where he had left off. Tris jumped down, shaking the bed and making Reed loose his page. Again. He sighed and didn't say anything. He loved his sister to death, but it surprised him how different they were from each other. She was spunky and sporty, he was more laid-back and shy. Tris bounded off, and Reed was left to wonder where she had gone off to this time. I'll go look for her after this chapter, he thought, laying back on his pillow and delving into the book once again.
A few minutes later, Reed finished the chapter and put his book down. The door was still open from when Tris had left. Walking through it and down the hallway, he brainstormed where she might have gone. The treehouse was a safe bet, so he decided to check there first. Maybe when he found her, he could convince her to play a game of chess with him. She was the only one who could math him in that skill.
He climbed up the ladder to their treehouse and poked his head up into the room, and heard a gasp and a frantic shuffle coming from one of the corners. Confused, Reed stepped in and walked towards the corner where the sound had come from. A blue blanket lay where the sound had come from. He walked to it cautiously. Leaning in, Reed gave it a little sniff.
"Boo!" Tris erupted from the blanket, succeeding in scaring the living daylights out of Reed. He jumped back and gave a little yelp. When he saw that it was just his sister, not a monster that was going to eat him, Reed tried to play it off as if he hadn't been scared, but he wasn't exactly the best actor. "I scared you! You should have seen your face!" Tris rambled, obviously very proud of her latest scheme.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You didn't scare me that much," Reed said, blushing, "what were you doing up here anyways?"
"Oh, nothing," she responded, nervously tapping her paw.
"Nothing?"
"Nothing at all."
"Yeah right. Let me see what's in that corner."
"No, wait!"
But it was too late, Reed had walked over to the blue blanket and lifted it up, expecting to see maybe some stolen cookies or a teen gossip magazine about the latest celebrity buzz. But what he saw completely blew his mind.
Books.
A huge pile of books lay in the corner. And not just any books, novels. He scanned the titles. They were all at least a thousand pages long, some really old, too. "...Tris? Have you been reading these?" Reed asked, unable to believe it. "Well... yeah. Yes I have. But don't tell anyone! They can't know that I read these! My whole reputation will be changed," she said, panic in her voice.
"Of course I won't, if it means that much to you," Reed promised, a huge smile spread across his face. Tris smiled back, and gave her brother a bear hug. "Thanks, Reed. I love you, bro,"
"Love you too Tris," he said, picking up a book from the pile. He sat down in another corner, opening to the first page. Tris did the same, and sat down in the corner with the blue blanket.
For hours they read together, not looking up from the wonder-filled books. A thought dawned in Reed's mind while they were reading. Maybe he and his sister weren't so different after all. He looked up from his book to look at his sister reading. She looked up too, and smiled at him. He smiled back and stood up, walking to her corner. Reed scooted in right next to her and they continued to read the day away together.
Some secrets in life are worth sharing with just one special friend.
Reed's special friend will always be Tris.

It's not that Reed is afraid
of being up high, he is
afraid of falling.
Falling, with no one to
catch him. That is
terrifying. This fear is so
big that he refuses to
even go on Tris's top bunk.

Being in small spaces isn't
a problem for Reed, but
being enclosed in a crowd is.
They are all moving, and he
is so small that he is afraid
of getting trampled or run
over. He doesn't do well in
these situations, either.
He will freeze up and not
know what to do.

Small spaces are very
comforting to Reed, as
long as they aren't small
because there are others
there. But empty spaces
are his worst fear. He
feels so alone and
vulnerable in that type
of environment, he can't
take it.

Even when he isn't nervous,
Reed will almost always be
tapping his paw or moving
his tail around. It helps him
relax.

No matter where he is,
Reed will always know
what direction he is
facing or going in. It is
like he has a little compass
in his head. He almost
never gets lost.

Everyone always thinks that
Reed is left-handed because
that is the hand he writes
with, but really he is right
handed, just uses his left
