to be in someone’s mind. to have complete
control. it’s like the thrill of being near the
executioner’s switch. knowing that at any
moment, you could throw it, but knowing you
never will… but you could, never isn’t the
right word, because i could… and i might…
i probably will.

Favorite Christmas memory; Silver and twinkling, the lights on the Christmas tree danced as Edmund hung his favorite ornaments. Stretching as far as he could reach, he tried to hang an ornament up further. The little bells tingled as he swished his long tail, hoping to maintain the precious little balance he had. With one final stretch he proudly placed the shiny star ornament on a high branch. A delicious, warm smell wound its way through the air into his nose. Taking another sniff he turned around, and cried out, "Cookies!"
"I made some cookies for us dear!" his mother said as he gratefully took one. They curled up side by side next to the crackling fire place. "I love you little bean."
"I love you too momma." Edmund closed his eyes and smiled, and there was never a happier bean in the world.

Name;
Crunch; named after the crunchy Christmas cookies I always seem to make.
Gender;
Favorite Christmas memory;
Crunch lay awake in his bed his ears stringing for the soft sound of jungle bells, or the soft pitter patter of hooves on the hoof top. He lay awake all night, not making a sound, quite as he could be, just listening for a sign of the jolly man that always managed to come band bring wonderful gifts and joy. Crunch had always tried his hardest to hear or see an sign of Santa. Every year, he was baffled at how Santa managed to do it. He lay awake in his bed, listening but the only sound he could hear was the soft sound of the snow gently falling to the ground. He sat up in his bed, careful to be quite, and turned, looking out the window. The white flakes danced around in front of his tiny face before they gently fell to the soft white ground. He pressed his hands aganist the cold glass of the window, his breath making tiny clouds every time he exhaled. Crunch watched the soft snow falling, his eyes searching for something in the sky. His eye lids grew heavy, the peaceful snow flakes slowly lulling him to sleep. Soon the only sound to be heard was the soft breath of Crunch as he slept peacefully eating for Santa to come.
Crunch sat up in his bed quickly, ripping off his blanket and running out of his room. "Mom!! Dad!! It's Christmas! Wake up" he shouted as he ran into the living room. He stumbled around the corner and reached the living room. He stood there looking at the tree, presents littered around the bottom, the snow falling in the background. There was four or five presents sitting under the tree, the shiny wrapping paper glistening under the tree lights. His parents following him in they're, smiling as they watched him run over to his presents. He sat down in front of the shiny boxes and was about to open them when a simple piece of paper caught his attention. It was a letter from Santa. He picked up the piece of paper and read it quickly. He hugged the piece of paper to his chest, and head a soft jungle coming from the bottom on the paper. He looked down and saw that two simple jingle bells had been attached to the pare, under the bells was a small note, it read, "These are two jingle bells I took of of my reindeer. They are special because they represent love, joy and Christmas spirit. ~ Santa". Crunch gently removed the golden bells, off the paper and held them in his tiny hands. He looked at their shiny surface, the soft jingle sound they made every time he moved his hand, a soft golden string gracefully falling over the edge of his hand, holing the two bells together. He took the two jungle bells' and tied them securely to his tail, smiling proudly at his gift.
Crunch doesn't remember the rest of that Christmas, he just remembers getting those jingle bells, the best gift he ever got. From that Christmas on, Crunch never tried to see Santa, he didn't need to see him, he already knew he was real.

Name;
Christof
Gender;
Male
Favorite Christmas memory;
It was the 23rd of December, or the day before the night before Christmas. Christof was helping his mother bake cookies for Christmas day, a small tradition that had been going on their family for generations. Music was playing softly in the background as his mother hummed along and danced around the kitchen, mixing the ingredients and putting sheet after sheet of cookies into the oven. The entire house smelled like the sweet aroma of cookies. Since Christof was still a child, he mostly watched his mother and stole mouthfuls of cookie dough. Suddenly, just as his mother put a batch of sugar cookies in to bake, the two beans heard sirens going off outside. They rushed into the cold to see what was the matter, and saw a fire truck decorated with lights and garland going around the street. On top of the truck was none other than Santa Claus himself, throwing candy canes down to the people gathered below. Christof laughed and ran to gather some of the sweet peppermint candies. He and his mother stayed outside and waved at the truck until it disappeared into the night. As they walked back inside, their smiles vanished when the smell of something burning confronted their nostrils. "My cookies!" Christof's mother yelled. She ran to the kitchen and quickly pulled out the sheet of overdone confections. Christof cautiously entered, and began laughing when he saw the cookies. "Mama, they look just like me!" he said amusedly. She laughed and agreed with him. Luckily, they were able to replaced the burned cookies and had plenty to go around. ❄
