︴ CONTESTANT, WHO ARE YOU?
My username is RenaiRoa, but I'd prefer if you called me Ren or Renai ^^
I am a non-owner, but please don't take that into consideration, as I know that many others are entering as well, trying hard to get their forms to look as good as possible. I've already entered for a few Kias, but without success. This time I'm doing my very best to get a nice and fancy form out there that will grab your attention.

︴ WHAT'S YOUR NAME, MY DEAR?
"My name is Arya, it's a nice name, isn't it? You pronounce it Ah-ree-ah by the way. That's right, you got it correctly at the first time! I hope you like it as much as I do."
Arya speaks with a calm and happy voice, looking deep into your eyes. She smiles as you pronounce her name.
︴ COULD YOU TELL US THE ORIGIN OF YOUR NAME?
"Yes, of course! It may seem hard to believe, but the name Arya is of elvish origin! Well, it could be, it was an elves name in one of my books... I wonder if it's true... But if it isn't, then it's probably of Indian origin. They have very nice names, and I'm honored to be able to carry one of them."
Arya tells you about the elves names, looking a bit embarrased, but seeming fascinated. Luckily she also knows where her name really came from, and looks proudly at you while explaining.
︴ DOES YOUR NAME MEAN ANYTHING?
"Does it mean anything in elvish or in Indian? I'll just tell you about both. Apparently, in elvish it means "song of the wind", which I find very nice, I like to sing in the wind, and it goes well with the markings on my back that looks like folded wings! ..." Arya goes on talking for a while, then looks back at you, "in Indian, Arya means noble, great, and truthful. I'm not sure if I'm noble or great, but I sure am truthful! I try my best to be noble as well, but it's not as easy as you think!"
Arya tries standing like a royal queen, looking most stunning in the sun, her pelt flashing like silver, her markings moving as if they were real.
︴ REN, WHY DID YOU CHOSE THIS NAME?
I chose the name Arya because it fascinated me when I first read it in my book; Eragon. There, Arya is an elf that has been poisoned, but recovers over time. When I read the name, I thought it was so beautiful that I looked up the meaning on the internet. I found both the Indian meaning as the elvish one. I think it suits her well, because of her nice wing markings and fur color. When I saw her, I knew she was the most royal Kia I'd ever seen. I was sure that Arya was the right choice for her name.

︴ WHAT IS YOUR GENDER, ARYA?
"I'm a female, didn't you know?" Arya looks at you with a surprised expression. You look at your feet, slightly ashamed for asking her such an obvious question.
︴ REN, WHY A FEMALE?
That's a simple question, do you think a male could ever look as royal and stunning as Arya? She is a female, always was and always will be. Another thing that shows she is feminine are her sapphire beads and her smooth hair. I just can't imagine Arya being a male.
︴ HOW OLD ARE YOU ARYA?
"Old? I'm not old!" You apologize and ask the question in a different age. "Oh, what my age is you ask? I guess I could tell you that." She smiles, "I'm five years young, and very proud to be a fully grown Kia." She says with delight, not daring to say that she's five years "old".
︴ WILL YOU DESCRIBE TO US YOUR PERSONALITY?
"Oh, I'm not sure, I'm not a very good judge of myself..." Arya sighs. "You could always ask Ren, she's way better than me at it!" she then says.
SELF-CONFIDENT | CARING | ADVENTUROUS | UNDERSTANDING | TRUTHFUL
[self-confident] Arya is very self-confident, she's not afraid that something will go wrong when she tries something new. She tries to pass on her self-confidence to others, though she doesn't always succeed, as some of them have had a too terrifying past.
[caring] She is very caring, when some Kia got hurt or needs help, Arya is always on the spot. The knows a lot about healing and can mend any bone or heal any wound. She talks in a very soft voice to calm her patients down when they're panicking or just terrified.
[adventurous] Arya loves adventures, when someone wants to do some dangerous thing, she's always ready to join. Of course, she cares for everyone so they don't get hurt, but her self-confidence helps her think that nothing will happen in the first place. She likes going on the most dangerous journeys, and mostly comes back unscarred.
[understanding] Some of Arya's friends don't like doing dangerous things like she does. Some other Kias sometimes try to force Arya's friends to do things that they don't want to do, not understanding that they don't want to. Arya understands this and stands up for them, explaining to the others what the problem is.
[truthful] Arya doesn't like to lie, she always tries to stay as close to the truth as possible. She's very good with words though, so she can actually say something meaning a completely different thing. Most Kias can't uncover her meaning, but her closest friends are capable of doing so.
︴ MY FAVORITE BIRD
"My favorite bird is the stork, such beautiful wings, and white as a dove. And the red beak just shows how special he is..." Arya floats off, daydreaming about storks, as you see a page of her journal lying on the floor.

"Oh! You found my stork page! Thank you so much, I thought I'd lost it!" Arya looks overjoyed when she sees you with her journal page, and you happily hand it back.
{ A r i a. &. O t h e r s. }
︴ DO YOU MAKE FRIENDS EASILY WITH OTHER KIAMARAS?
"Well, you could say that I do", Arya says, a smile spreading across her face. "I like meeting new Kias and making friends with them, because I myself think that I know how to have fun. Some might consider me anti-social, but that's just because it's not that easy to earn my trust. One has to be a loyal and trustworthy friend if one wants to get to know me better." After her explanation, Arya eyes you curiously, probably checking if you're trustworthy enough for her.
︴ DO YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANY OTHER KIAS?
"You mean as friends, right?" Arya asks, looking curious. You nod. "Well then, of course! A very good friend of mine is Kaitamosko, and he's owned by t o o t h l e s s ; !! I think you know him, Wind Song, as you designed him just like myself!" Arya looks at you thankfully, glad that you were the one to make her see the world.
{ F a v o u r i t e. T h i n g s. }
︴ WILL YOU TELL US WHAT YOU LIKE?
Arya obviously likes adventure, and she's always ready for another one. She also likes jelly, the way it wibbles and wobbles. "Yes! And don't forget that it's very tasty!" Arya is also a huge fan of Dream-catchers, she's been collecting them since she got her feathers. Her favourite is a medium sized one made of a willow's branch. Blue beads are weaved into the strings, just like the ones around her horn and tail-feathers. At the bottom hang a white owl feather, a black raven feather, a brown and white tipped eagle feather, a small fluffy pigeon feather and one of the feathers she had gotten from her parents.
︴ WHAT YOU DISLIKE?
Arya dislikes spiders, "Yes! Because they tickle me too much when walking through my fur!", but she isn't afraid of them. When she's in a very good mood, she even likes them. Another thing she dislikes are bird-catchers. "I could tear them to shreds!" Alright, she literally hates them. She can't stand seeing little helpless birds get caught in those huge nets. Sometimes, she manages to sneak up on them when no one's looking and set the birds free.
︴ ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS?
One of Arya's biggest strengths is her ability to heal. She knows nearly all the herbs that exist in this wonderful world. She also has a very soothing voice with which she can calm down other Kias when their pain becomes nearly unbearable so that they forget about it and think about the good things.
︴ YOUR WEAKNESSES?
One of Arya's biggest weaknesses is her wish to be able to fly. Some Kias take this to their advantage and tease her about not being able to fly. She then runs off somewhere else where she can be alone and grieve about her flightless wing markings.
︴ AND YOUR FEARS?
Arya has a great fear of mosquitoes, as their bites swell up incredibly fast under her skin. Every time she sees one, she tries to get as far away as possible from it so to not get bitten. That's why she goes home as soon as they start coming out of theirs.
{ T h e. P a s t. }
︴ CAN WE HEAR ONE OF YOUR STORIES?
"Oh yes!! Let me tell you of the time I first flew..." Arya closes her eyes, it seems she's trying to remember every little detail...
It was during winter, the coldest I can remember, when I saw a poor little stork lying on the ground. 'This can't be! Storks aren't supposed to be here during winter!' I thought to myself, running up to the poor being. When I was close enough, I saw that he had a broken wing, and that his eyes were barely open. I could see his chest lifting and sinking slowly as his breath started to cease. My head was rushing around in panic, but my paws were rooted to the ground. 'What should I do? Where should I go? Will he have to die?' I continued thinking to myself. Then finally, I walked right up to the stork and heaved him onto my back. "Don't worry little one, you're coming with me, I'll make you better" I said in a pleadig voice, I didn't want anything more that to save his life. All I got in reply was a faint squwak but I heard the faint tone of hope in his voice, and saw a hopeful gleam in his eyes.
On my way home, I thought of what my mum would say about the bird, as I knew that she disliked birds in general from the time she knew they existed, and I decided to tell her about it slowly. ‘But I don’t have the time for that!’ I thought to myself again, and couldn’t think of any other way but to just tell her about what happened and what I was about to do.
When I arrived at home, my mum reacted exactly as I expected. She stared at the stork in disgust, and at me with an angry, questioning flame in her eyes. “What, Arya, is this… thing?” she asked, the flame growing bigger and bigger. “I found this poor stork lying on the snow; he’s got a broken wing and is lying at the edge of death!” I blurted out, tears gathering in my eyes. My mum examined the stork, then nodded, still not completely satisfied, at me. She went to get some herbs, she had learnt a bit about healing from her grandfather, and returned with a bunch of leaves in her mouth. “Chew these up and spread them across his broken wing,” she ordered, and I did as she had told me. At first, the stork kept twitching when I tried to touch the harmed spot, so I started humming a little melody and he calmed down as I lulled him and myself to sleep…
When I woke up on the next day, I immediately rushed to check on the stork; he was no longer where I had left him. I searched everywhere, until I found him looking off a cliff, far over the ocean. He turned his head as I ran up to him, worried that something was wrong. He laid his beak on my head, “everything will be alright, I’m leaving to find my real family, thank you for taking care of me,” I heard a voice in my head say. I stared in surprise, then nodded. “Will you come visit me once more?” was all I could bring out of my throat; I was so moved by this moment. “Of course,” the voice said, “I couldn’t possible stand not seeing you anymore, come, let me show you how it is to fly.” There was an itching feeling on my back, and when I turned around, I saw a beautiful golden pair of wings sprouting out from my back. “Come,” the stork said and spread his wings, and so did I. We jumped into the air, I flapped my wings with all my might, and soared high above the clouds, it was such a wonderful feeling! …
I woke up, tired as ever, and ran down to check on the stork, I had to know if his wing had healed! When I saw that he wasn’t there, I remembered my fist flight and realized it had just been a dream. I ran to the cliff, and saw the stork looking at me, as if he had known I was coming! He nodded once, a knowing gleam in his golden eyes, then spread his wings and flew off in direction of the horizon…

“Those must’ve been the most amazing moments of my life!” Arya says, looking at you, trying to catch her breath after her long story. “What would you like to know now?” She asks, ready to let you deeper into her soul.
︴ ARYA, TELL US HOW YOU GOT YOUR FEATHERS AND BEADS!
“Oh, that’s such a long story... But if you insist, I’ll try to shorten it for you. Do sit down, we might be staying here for a while,” Arya says, not being used to share her history with others...
A huge yellow sun shone down at me as I first left the den. “Mum! Mum! Look at this! It’s beautiful!” I was a bounce little Kia, all happy about the tinyest of things. The thing I had spotted now, was indeed tiny; it was a littly ladybird sitting on a daisy. “Yes, Arya, we call that a ladybird,” my mum said, looking at me with that loving look only mothers can give...
“Arya!! What is that you have hanging around your horn?!” this was four years later, the day I found my wonderful ocean-blue beads. “I found these mum! I looked for the person who could’ve lost them but there was no one there!” I said, staring at her, fear creaping up my spine. I knew my parents had planned the feather-giving for today, was it going to be cancelled? Would I have to wait another four years to get my feathers? Just those thoughts made me shiver, I didn’t want all those things to happen to me! “You’re lucky we can’t pull out from the feather giving ceremony, otherwise I would’ve done it immediately!” my mum said, anger blazing in her eyes. I lowered my head in shame, not knowing what to say. “Go outside, we shall start soon,” she said and turned her back on me, so I went.
A few hours later, all the Kiamaras had gathered round to watch the ceremony. I was standing in the middle of a large clearing, my parents right in front of me, inside of the crowd. My dad then walked foreward, closer and closer to me, so I lowered my head in respect. “Today is the day, during which you, Arya, receive your feathers as a mark of honor. Care for them well, as they are all one of a kind found specially for you by me and your mother,” he said in his deep voice and used his paw to lift mine. “I hereby tie two feathers to your paw, as a sign of your great stealth and agility,” he said, and the crowd cheered with joy as he tied the two beautiful golden feathers to my left paw. After the crowd had calmed down, he tied two more to the beads that now hung at the root of my tail. “And these two feathers are a sign of honor, love, and care, as only the most talented are able to care for feathers so far from their own nose,” he spoke again, and the crowd once more broke into cheers, it was time to celebrate!
When we got back home, my mum looked at me again and asked, “now, tell me where you got those beads from.” I swayed from side to side for a bit, then opened my mouth to speak. “I was running down the river path, looking for something I could decorate myself with when I suddenly arrived at a little pond. It looked weird, the water had an eerie bright blue glow. I walked up to it, and tried to spot it’s bottom. There lay many wonderful beads, but these blue ones shone out to me the most. I dived in, not thinking of what I was doing and pulled the beads out of the water. Surprisingly, I wasn’t wet at all, even after my plunge into the water! I quickly tied the bears to my horn and to my tail, as I didn’t want to be late for the ceremony and was on my way home in instants.” My mum looked at me with huge eyes, “that was the pond of dreams, my dear! Only the blessed have the ability to find it!” she lowered her head respectfully in front of me. “You are now the new princess of Kiamaras, as those who wear those beads are chosen to become royalty.”

“There, that was how I got my feathers and found my beads, and yes, I am a royal princess, though most don’t realize it unless I tell them, were you one of them?” You nod, surprised about what you have just discovered. Arya grinned then continued, “you see, not everything is as obvious as you think!”

︴ THEME SONG
"Oh right, I have one of those!" Arya turns on the song so that you can have a little listen.
Butterfly by Take That
"I really hope you like it!" She smiles as you start listening to the song.
︴ WILL YOU TELL US A POEM?
"Why yes, just let me think of one..."
Had I but wings like thine,
Free bird of flight,
To scale the heights that only wings can reach,
Or steer my passage o'er yon seas of light,
Whose cloudy beach
Is ever shifting like the sands of time!
Had I but wings like thine
To soar between
Those airy deeps and lower deeps more real,
Above the wrecks and ruins of the main,
The joy to feel
Of freedom on unfailing pinions mine!
Had I but wings like thine
To visit lands
Of ancient story and undimmed renown;
To roam and rest beside those glittering strands
That ages crown
With words and thoughts that lustrous gems outshine!
Had I but wings like thine!
In yonder skies,
Thy graceful form becomes a speck to view;
Had I but wings like thine I would arise,
A bird of passage too,
To pass beyond this narrow prison line!
Had I but wings like thine!
'Tis vain to long;
Ah! rather let me feel those hidden wings,
That to a higher, broader, flight belong;
Be mine a heart that ever soars and sings
Above the wrecks of wrong!
"I didn't come up with this myself, but it's one of my favorite poems, written by Martha Lavinia Hoffman and it's called "Had I But Wings Like Thine", as you might have noticed. I liked it so much that I learned it off by heart~" Arya's eyes gleam as she recites to you the wonderful poem, while dreaming of wings of her own.
︴ CAN WE SEE SOME OF YOUR ARTISTIC TALENTS?
