    { What Is A Yowie:
    Image
The Yowie, AKA Yahoo or Yowie-Whowie, is alegendary creature said to inhabit the wilderness of Australia. There are several variations of the Yowie legend and conflictingaccounts of its origins.
The term Yowie is found in Australian Aboriginal folklore, referring to an ape-like creature with canine teeth and large red eyes located on the sides of its head. A night-time predator, the Yowie is thought to occasionally feed on humans. This is not the same creature described in modern European legends.

Jonathan Swift’s “Gulliver's Travels” (1726) features a race of subhuman creatures called the Yahoos. It is possible that early European settlers in Australia confused the Aboriginal word Yowie with the fictional Yahoo.

The popular modern image of a Yowie is more like a yeti, i.e. more humanoid and less predatory.

Sightings of the Yowie have been reported mainly in New South Wales and the Queensland's Gold Coast. Sightings have also been reported from New Zealand, in North Auckland, the Coromandel Peninsula and the West Coast.

{ Why Yowie: Well, I went to both the websites we were provided with. I went through all the names, and the name Yowie stood out. I don't know why, but I have a thing for names that start with Y, X and Z. The instant I saw the name, I knew it would be the one for her. I can honestly say, I don't think their could be a better name for her. It's just, perfect. Although this cutie isn't anything like an actual Yowie, I still believe she should be named after it. I like how Yowies get called Yahoos and Yowie-Whowies, and I can just see those being excellent nicknames for her. In my opinion, her name is beautiful and amazing, just like she is.

{ Origin: It comes from the Aboriginal word Yuwaalaraay yuwi , meaning "dream spirit".

{ Meaning: Yowie is the term for an unidentified hominid reputed to lurk in the Australian wilderness. It is an Australian cryptid similar to the Himalayan Yeti and the North American Bigfoot

    { Pronounced: you'wi, ˈjaʊwi, "jaUwi

{ Why Myth: Her middle name is Myth because her name had to be a mythical creature.

{ Why Danacabra: Danacabra is a mis between Daniel and Chubacabra.

    { Zodiac: Capricorn

    { Capricorn Meaning:
Capricorns are very ambitious people, they always have something they are pursuing and they want their lives to be fulfilled and important. Capricorns are extremely patient and will wait a long time for something they want, when the opportunity arises, they will plan their steps carefully to others, they might appear hesitant but this is not true, they know that there is only one chance to succeed and they are filing together their information to take the proper steps to accomplish their goal with flying colors, not just second rate. Capricorns have a very active mind and strong powers of concentration. Capricorns like being in control of their surroundings and everyone in their life. Capricorns are very cautious but this only to survey the situation before leaping in, they will never make a hasty jump in. They accept change but introduce it slowly so they can get used to it and incorporate it into their life. Capricorns tend to see life in black or white, definitive's only. There are no gray areas for these are areas that are not understood and this makes Capricorn feel uncomfortable. They tend to be in control in a romantic relationship that way they are never vulnerable to another person.

{ December 30th 2004, 10:00am, Australian Outback: Chubacabra sat with her lovely mate, Daniel. "It's good to be on vacation," he said. Chubacabra smiled at him. "It is nice to be here, isn't it." Daniel smiled at this. "It's just, I'm worried about the new bean." Chubacabra smiled at him, "Don't worry about it." Daniel nodded. "It's just, Azura's only two and she's going to be a big sister. That's a bit young to be a big sister." Chubacabra looked in her pouch to see the two year old Azure, sleeping. "It's old enough," she said.

{ December 30th 2004, 10:49am, Australian Outback: Daniel stared down into his new daughter's eyes. "She's beautiful, Chu." Chubacabra smiled at him, "She's got your eyes. Nice, and green" Azura poked her head out of her mother's pouch. "I has sista," she giggled. "What shall we name her?" Chubacabra asked Daniel. Daniel stared off into space, trying to think of a good name. Chubacabra thought he was ignoring her, so she stepped on his foot. "Yowee! That hurt," he screamed. "It's perfect!" Chubacabra exclaimed. "What? What's perfect?" Daniel asked. "The name, silly. We'll call her Yowie." "But, I wasn't trying to..." his voice trailed off. "Meet you new little sister, Azura. Her name is Yowie," Chubacabra whispered to her eldest daughter. Azura smiled, "Yowie!"

{ December 30th 2012, 10:48am, Australian Outback: Yowie smiled, she was finally here. The outback of Australia, the exact place she was born. And only a minute until she was exactly 8 years old. All of her family was here, and she was very excited. ten more seconds, she thought, and thus the countdown began. Her whole family, all together, started to count. "ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one! Happy birthday Yowie!" Yowie's grin grew wider. "I can't believe it! I'm eight years old, and I'm in the same place I was born!" "Just remember darling," her mother started, "We won't be staying here forever, we're just on a vacation. Oh yeah, I got you a present." Chubacabra smiled at her, and then went off to get her, her present. The rest of the family crowded around her, giving her more gifts. "Happy birthday, sis," Azura smiled. "Thanks, Azura," the replied. A few minutes later, her mother came back. "Happy birthday," she said, pulling a piece of paper from her pouch. She handed it to Yowie. "A map? What's this for?" she asked. "Well, there's meant to be a creature called the Yowie that lives around here. I thought, since you're already eight, that you might like to try to go and find the thing which shares a name with you," Chubacabra said to her. "Wow! Thanks!" And of she went, following her mother's map.

{ December 30th 2012, 11:24am, Australian Outback: Yowie searched and searched, using the map her mother had given her. "Yowie!" she called, "Yowie!" She walked on for a while. It was getting really hot, her fur making it hard to cope with the heat. "Yowie!" she called again. "It's no use. This thing is impossible to find." she started to turn around, when she heard someone behind her. Slowly a kangaroo emerged from the bushes. "G'day mate. What are you doing out here all alone," she asked Yowie. "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers..." Yowie replied. "Don't worry, I'm a friend, I won't hurt you." the kangaroo smiled at her. "By the way, I'm Kelly, and this is my little joey, Joseph." she added. "I have an uncle named Joseph," Yowie said. "He's got a good name!" Kelly laughed, "But my little guy goes by Joey." "Joey? He is a joey," Yowie giggled. Kelly nodded, taking a small joey from her pouch. "I'm Joey, hi," he said. "Oh, grumpy bum, could you at least try to sound happy," Kelly rolled her eyes at him. "Anyway," Yowie said, "I'm trying to find this Yowie. Can you help me?" So off they went.

{ December 30th 2012, 14:09pm, Australian Outback: "Yowie!" Chubacabra called, "Yowie come back!" her voice trailed off, "Daniel, when will we see her again?" Daniel frowned, it had been quite some time since Yowie had wondered off. He hoped she was ok. Suddenly, Azura broke the silence, "I see her," she exclaimed. Azura pointed in the direction of her little sister. "Yowie!" her family shouted together, "Yowie, over here!" Off in the distance, Yowie spotted her family. She waved at them, glad that they were here. "Kelly, Joey, that's my family," she said happily, "Thanks for everything, bye!" "Bye," smiled Kelly. And off ran Yowie. When she made it to her beloved family, Yowie told them about Kelly and Joey and how they were looking for the Yowie. The voice Kelly the kangaroo interupted her story, "You guys, over here!" Yowie and her family came as quick as they could. Once they reached Kelly and Joey, Kelly said, "Right there, in the bushes, there's a real yowie." She pointed, and from the bush, you could clearly see two bright red eyes, staring at them. Would you believe it, they finally found a Yowie.

{ How I Discovered Her: I was stalking the JBD Nursery, like I always do, and saw her. I clicked on her immediately, and when I saw she was up for adoption, my heart skipped a beat. Straight away, started to think and look for names for her. And she's been in my mind, for like, ever. I couldn't post my form, because my friend was over. And then, once she left, I started thinking about what I would do with her, all about my form. She is just perfect.

    { My Reaction To Her: These gifs demonstrate that perfectly. X x X x X x X

{ Why I Want Her: Why wouldn't I want her? She is by far, the most beautiful Jellybean Dragon I have seen, besides my own little Salt. The way her design and colors go together. And just everything! I've always had a bit of a thing for dragons with one floppy ear, so I love her even more. She's just so beautiful and perfect in every single way. I've always loved her parents, two of my favorite beans. When I saw Azura, I was very, very jealous. But now, this little girl, I love 100 times more than the tree of them put together. I truly do love her, and I will do anything for her. I've tried for many dragons before this, but none have I ever felt this connected to. She is, and always will be, loved by me.

{ What I'll Do With Her: Anything and everything. I'll draw her, all the time. Color in every single giftlines I can find. I'll order lots of art of her. I'll role play with her. I'll make her, her own little character page. And I'll write stories with her. And, just love her to death. As I said before, anything and everything.

{ If I Won Her: I would scream. I would freak out. I would probably even start crying. She means everything to me. I would go crazy, and just flip out. Then I'd post here about how happy I was, and how much I love her and just, die. Then, I'd get to work on a character page, and start drawing her and luffing her. It would be, one of the best days of my life.

Name :

Imoogi

What is an Imoogi?

A close relative to the dragon, there is a native Korean mythological creature known as an Imugi. By one account, they are hornless creatures resembling dragons who have been cursed and thus were unable to become dragons. By other accounts, an Imugi is a proto-dragon which must survive one thousand years in order to become a fully fledged dragon. In either case they are said to be large, benevolent, python-like creatures that live in water or caves. Their sighting is associated with good luck.

----Name----

Kraken

----Brief Personality----

Intelligent - Creative - Adventurous - Overprotective - Clumsy.

----In-depth----

Intelligent

Kraken is smart. She has so much fun when she reads books, watch informative programmes on TV, listen to lectures from others - anything that can get her a little more knowledge! Though she's young, she knows that the world is a big place, and wants to know as much as possible before she goes and does something silly again!

--

Creative
Kraken loves to use her intelligence to create new things - writing is her favourite, but she also draws (Since she hasn't perfected her handwriting yet!). She is good at designing things but not so good at making them once she has. She likes to use lots of paint and colour when she draws, and gets it all over herself and the others nearby.

--

Adventurous
Never one for sitting still, Kraken loves to stick her nose into everything. As she is highly influenced by her favourite type of book (Adventure!) she wants to be just like the heroes and heroines and become a fearless explorer, discovering all new kinds of animals or monsters.

--

Overprotective
She hates it when her possessions are touched and can be snappy if this happens. Her protectiveness extends to family and close friends. If there's danger near to her family, she either tries to get rid of it or get her family away. She can be pushy when being challenged over items or friends.

--

Clumsy
She's uncoordinated, so watch your valuables near her! Since Kraken likes to barrel around at full speed when excited, she is prone to crashes, bumps, spills - you name it, she has probably accidentally caused it! Usually, she carries around a packet of plasters (band-aids) in her pouch, to make up for painful accidents.

----The Kraken's legend----

The Kraken's legend is a terrifically terrifying story - one shrouded with never-ending amounts of questions!

Since before anybody could remember, the JBD have heard tales of a monster who appears when seas are rough. This monster is the Kraken. It is often one of the last things most sailors see. This mysterious Kraken wreaks havoc in the sea - usually seen in storms, it sends boats and ships to their early demise on the sleepy sea bed. It occasionally eats the crew - sometimes, they are left to drown in the cold ocean.

It is rumoured that the Kraken's tentacles could reach to the very highest mast of a large ship - and sometimes a little higher. Using the suckers on the underside of its giant tentacle, it would coil around a ship and drag it to the seabed. Due to the force it can use, sometimes ships end up in tatters too.

It isn't the creature itself that enthralls Kraken - it's the mystery floating around the beast. Is it real? Where is it? Does it sink ships indiscriminately? This is all she ever dreamed about discovering : a whole new type of creature, and her greatest wish when she was young was to find out all about a Kraken.

----Story----

Set in Kraken's future, when she's old enough to go out on a journey of her own.
She's somewhere between the ages of sixteen and twenty-two in this story.

August 18th, 2012.
Asbridge Docks,
Aboard The Kraken

I suppose this will be the first journal entry of my many, documenting my days on the open sea. My memoirs, I suppose. I intend to sail to as many places as possible in search of my girlish dream - to find a Kraken. Funny how it seems I end up facing my namesake in some way or another wherever I go!

The sea is calm and I feel content, but something in my stomach is stirring. As a child, I merely thought my dream a far-off and unachievable feat, yet I dreamed it all the same. Now I can't rest, for excitement and anticipation are coursing through my veins. I can barely write in a straight line. Presently, the captain calls. I'm needed on deck to wave good-bye to those on shore. A rather pointless activity if you ask me, but seemingly required for "good luck". I shall need a lot of that if I am to complete my goal!!

August 24th, 2012.
The Open Sea,
Aboard the Kraken

Good evening again, sea journal. It seems I have been much busier than expected! My butterflies calmed soon after we departed, but I have been unexpectedly rash and jumpy. Behind every wave, I see the shape of many tentacles, which nearly always turn out to be seaweed... The captain and shipmates all laugh at my folly, but I feel no malicious intent. I feel that we can become good friends.

The food here is poor. What I would give to be back home eating the delicious food I had with my parents! Hard biscuits and vegetable gruel is our regular, with sweet fruit as a treat. Proper food is a thing I miss dearly, but my Mama and Papa and dear sister are so special to me that I miss them more than anything.

I admit halfheartedly that I might not be cut out for a life on the high seas, as the few rough patches we've hit haven't exactly agreed with me. I'm told to expect worse soon, as the air smells saltier and damper. I hope my seasickness will pass soon.

Dreaming of you...

--

August 31st, 2012.
The Rough and Open Sea,
Aboard the Kraken

Dear journal, I apologise for my lengthy absence. The storm we hit was awful, and left my legs shaking and my stomach empty. I was constantly soaked through from helping the crew with the jobs, and my muscles have been aching. The crew say I caught a severe chill, and that I'm nearly recovered now. I really haven't been faring well.

The ship still hasn't stopped her rocking and pitching, which I haven't noticed too badly until recently. Before, I was kept preoccupied by the work. The swaying is beginning to make my head spin, and my writing is awful enough from the battering this poor ship is withstanding. I take my leave for another lie-down and wish for our conditions to improve soon.

It's making me queasy...

--

September 20th, 2012.
The Open Sea,
Aboard the Kraken

My promise to keep this journal updated has failed so poorly, but today my excitement cannot be contained. A few days ago, after breaking through a small storm, I saw it. All the crew saw it clearly - and we're sure it's a Kraken!

Unmistakably. Remarkably. A real Kraken. And the crew has agreed to make a pursuit! I could not be luckier or happier. My childhood dream - achieved! I can't help but reflect on the possibilities. What if our Kraken is hostile, and we are all lost to the ferocious ocean that claws so violently at the prow, as if to pull us into the sea? Or worse, the Kraken devours us all, and we disappear from history forever. My family wouldn't know where on earth I'd gone!

That's why I'm making a new promise to this sea journal. One I'll keep for sure this time. I promise I shall not be lost on this journey! And that I shall return to my parents and my sister and tell them of my wonderful journey, one I know they'll listen to attentively. I hope to make them proud.

For now, I'm in pursuit of a Kraken!

September 24th
The Dark and Open Sea
Aboard the Kraken

I have awoken in the night to creaking sounds and thundering footsteps outside my cabin door. This obviously cannot mean good things. The ship is rocking violently - nothing I'm not used to. It's noisy and the crew says they need me.

I'll be back soon...

--

October....?
Somewhere in the Ocean, on an Island,
Amongst the Wreckage of the Kraken

So much has happened since my last entry! I am incredibly lucky to be alive. My memory is foggy from weeks spent scavenging and investigating this incredible island. But first, I shall explain what happened so long ago, to fill in the blanks of this poor journal - lost to me for such a lengthy stretch of time.

During that fateful night, those creaking sounds were the splintering of the ship's wooden hull. An unknown force was gripping our wonderful Kraken, and tearing her clean apart. I remember was dashing madly to my cabin in a panic - my journal! The deck gave way beneath me, breaking into a million tiny pieces. The Kraken, the faithful old Kraken, took her last shiver on the sea, and fell to ruin.

And we with it.

The sea was cold - so unforgivably cold, I felt as if it might swallow me up. And finally, as if slowed down so every detail was defined perfectly, I saw it. The very beast I'd been searching for.

The real Kraken.

Its body was gigantic! The sea seemed to be full of its coiling tentacles, mixing up the stormy ocean like huge blades. I saw every small move it made, its squidlike body floating daintily and its mere prescence merciless. Only one moment I was given to observe the monstrosity I dreamed of when I was young - then the waters were dark, and I have no recollection of the rest.

After that, I washed up here. There's a lot of the ship's wreckage littered all around, but I suppose that is natural for a shipwreck. Sometimes I catch myself wondering if what I saw really was the sea-giant. Shock from the cold sea water could easily have addled me, and the Kraken I saw only floating rubble. But none of it matters now. I found it, real or not, and now I only wish to go home to my family.

November 3rd, 2012
Oceanforge Docks,
At the Hotel

Dear Mama, Papa and Azura,

I'm now safe on dry land and well! I was lucky enough to catch the attention of a very kindly old sea-dog, who agreed to ship myself (and what remained of the crew) to shore! In this letter I'm enclosing the log of my wonderful adventure to find a Kraken, aboard The Kraken. I am hoping you weren't too worried about me! The journey was a huge success, as I'm sure you'll find out when you read the enclosed journal, and I am going to publish it someday for sure. I think I shall call it "The incredible Journey" or "A Kraken Adventure" or perhaps, you could help me coin a much more credible name.

I am headed home on the next transport available. It seems like forever ago I got to see your warm and happy smiles. I can't wait to get there and be with you all again.

I'll be seeing you soon!

Love,
Kraken.

OMG SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL~<3
Meliae
Ash Tree Nymphs, also commonly known as Meliae, were the dryads of ash trees. Their role in nature was to mother the third race, known as the Bronze race, of mankind.
They were created when Kronos(Cronus), the Greek God of Time, castrated his father, Ouranos. During the process, a few drops of Ouranos's blood fell upon the surface of the earth. When the drops of blood met the earth, three types of creatures were formed: the Furies, the Giants, and the Ash Tree Nymphs. It was believed that a person who drank Ash Tree Nymph blood would be connected to the God Ouranous.
There were many kinds of nymphs that were formed, and each symbolized certain aspects of nature such as the seas, mountains, forests, rivers and meadows.
Each part of nature was associated with a specific type of nymph. The Ash Tree Nymphs, however, are associated with fruit trees, or more specifically ash trees. There are even different nymphs for specific types of trees, such as oak trees.
The Ash Tree Nymphs were also nurses of the god Zeus, Ida, and Adrasteia.

Meliae walked down the forest path, happily wagging her tail and with a glance of curiosity glimmering in her eyes.
The forest was dark and cold this night in December, but she didn't care that much about it, since she loved how the night was.
Many beans in her age was afraid of it, but she wasn't, she actually admired it. She welcomed the darkness; the unknown, the possibilities of surprises.
Both of her parents was asleep, and so was also her bigger sister. She had sneaked out without their permission, like she always did on the night.
It wasn't her fault that she was restless and curious about the unknown.
She walked down the grassy hill, down to the lake where the stars and moon reflected in the water.
It was a beautiful sight, and she felt relaxed when she lied down on a grassy spot.
She gently putted her left front paw in the chilly water, and tiny waves started to reach the middle of the lake.
"It's so beautiful here, don't you think?" She heard a strange voice said.
She quickly stood up and turned her attention to the source of the voice.
It was an old, dark brown JBD with markings in green, purple and pink with some spots of white.
"Who are you?!" Meliae growled.
"You don't have to fear me, little one. I won't hurt you"
"I'm not little!" she said, showing her teeth. But the lady just looked at her and then chuckled.
"Calm down, okay? Or I tell your parents that you sneaked out" The lady said and grinned. Meliae just stared at her, and then she gasped.
"How did you know about---"
"Oh, that's my little secret. What's your name, young fella?"
"Meliae" she said with a lower voice and looked down at the ground
"That's what I thought. Follow me, Meliae. I want to show you something" The lady said and turned to the left before she started to walk. Meliae looked at the path that she took earlier, when she walked away from home and then back at the lady. Her curiosity won, and she ran after the old JBD.
"What's your name, mrs?" Meliae said and the JBD looked at her with a smile.
"I've got many names" She said, and her voice sounded younger and more... Soft. Like a summer breeze.
Meliae looked up once again, and the old lady was replaced with a younger version of her.
"What the--"
"Hush now. Or you might scare them away"
"Who? And you didn't answered my question!" Meliae said and the lady rolled her eyes.
"You can call me Gaia, okay? And it's the ash nymphs. Don't you hear their song?" The lady whispered softly and both her and Meliae lied down in the tall grass.
Suddenly, a few spots of light were dancing in the dark sky, singing a beautiful melody about mother nature.
"Haha, they make me blush" Gaia said with a low voice.
"Wait, Gaia is the name of... You. You are mother nature!" Melia said and gasped once again.
"That's right, my child. It took you some time to figure it out" she said and blinked with a smile.
"But why are you a JBD?" Meliae said and tilted her head.
"I chose it, because I didn't want to scare you of" She said and chuckled.
"Quiet now. Close your eyes, and listen" She whispered and Meliae yawned.
"The ash tree nymphs is also known to be called Meliae, did you know that?" Gaia continued with a voice soft like a rose petal.
"No..." Meliae murmured and closed her eyes.

~

Chubacabra and Daniel was shouting after their younger daughter. Azura was looking all over in the cave while her parents were lookig in the forest.
Meliae was gone when they said that breakfast was ready.
"Oh, Daniel. Where can she be?" Chu said and Daniel took one of her front paws.
"Don't worry, we'll find her" He said and tried to smile.
Suddenly, he tumbled over something in the tall grass and looked down.
He thought it was a rock, but rocks doesn't have fur. It was Meliae.
"Oh, thank godness!" Chu said and picked up her daughter and hugged her.
"We were so worried, young lady! Where have you been?" Chu said, trying to sound angry. But tears were falling down her cheeks.
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"Did you know that Meliae is another name for the ash tree nymphs?"
"Wh... What? Of course I do. That's why you got the name, honey" Chu said, still hugging her daughter.
"Never go out before telling us, okay?" Chu continued, still crying.
"Okay, Mommy. I'm sorry" Meliae murmured through her mothers fur.

(Hope it was okay that I used Chu, Daniel and Azura^^)

THE BASICS
Name; Acromantula Doxy Storm
Age; Newborn
Gender; Female
Birthday: 30th December
Starsign: Capricorn
Full name: Acromantula Doxy Storm
Standing Nicknames; Tula.
Names from the past; Nerd, Acro.
Color she talks in: This
Voice tone: Intelligent.
Name Origin: JK Rowling.

Yes, I would like you to meet Acromantula, this clever little newborn bean, who I would love so much, to be mine. Acromantula's may be, massive black spiders, but she was named this, because you required a mythical creature, and when I say creature, don't you immediantly think, Monster? The truth is, the Acromantula, that features in Harry Potter, named Aragog, was kind, gentle and sweet, that is why she was named Acromantula. Her nicknames, she does nothing but shorten her own, so Tula is the only currently standing nickname. Her full name is Acromantula Doxy Storm (The surname I give all my beans.) Incase you hadn't noticec, I also gave her a Harry Potter related middle name. A doxy, is a biting fairy. I thought it sounded a bit more girly than Acromantula! She is female, and I think it was defintly the right gender to make her. And just to add, she talks in this brown, but in this context I am using it as it goes with the titles and her voice tone, she sounds intelligent, a little like Hermione from Harry Potter, I just think, that's the only way I'll be able to imagine her talking in real life, as it is how I imagine her.
As far as I am aware, she was born on the 30th of December, making her, less than a week old when I wrote this paragraph. Her starsign is, as far as I am aware a Capricorn. They are said not to be early morning lovers, but Acromantula, is known for being up early, mostly to read.

Eye color: Brown
Main fur color: Light brown.
Size: American Bulldog
Weight: 2 stone.
Height: 30 cm.

Acromantula, in detail is basically like any other bean. She has deep brown eyes, the color of dark, luxurious quality chocolate, they are almost enthralling. Her main fur color is a light brown, but she is dotted with different shades. Her markings, she obviously inherits from her mother and father, I regonise the ones on her back from being from her mother, as I have seen her around the forums and seen images browsing Smoke's gallery. Her size is around that of a small american bulldog, which I assume is around average because I would expect her to be no bigger than that! Her weight is two stone, now it may sound heavy, but I don't actually have an exact idea, and I would rather her seem heavy than light. Her height is 30 cm, because I think that is how tall an american bulldog is.

An Acromantula is a large venomous spider, covered in thick black hair. It is a carnivorous creature and has pincers which create a distinctive clicking sound when aroused. It is actually a Harry Potter creature, so you may argue, it isn't a real creature, but I say to that, none of the creatures are real anways, so It's perfectly fine!

I just put a dictionary definition, to give you an exact idea.

An Acromantula is a species of giant spider, native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia, particularly Borneo where it inhabits dense jungle. Acromantulas are believed to be a wizard-bred species, designed to guard dwellings or treasure hoards, and were first created before the Ban on Experimental Breeding in 1965. These giant spiders, with a taste for human flesh, were first spotted in 1794.

Now for a physical description, from Wikipedia.

The acromantulas sported eight, black eyes (white if blind) and are typically covered in thick black hair, with a leg span that can reach up to fifteen feet. They possess a set of giant fangs which they use to eat live prey or their own dead kin. Their pincers produce a clicking sound when they are agitated or excited.

These fangs contain highly toxic venom, valued at 100 Galleons a pint, which is even potent for a short time after death. Their eggs are Class A Non-Tradeable Material.

The female is usually larger than the male, and can lay up to one hundred soft, wide, beach ball-sized eggs at a time. They usually hatch in six to eight weeks. Despite the names bearing a phonetic similarity to Tarantulas, they appear more like Wolf Spiders and are, in all depictions, araneomorphae.

Etymology

The name Acromantula has the Greek acro-, meaning high or "peak," and -mantula, from the English "tarantula." True to their name, Acromantulas are massive arachnids who tend to spin their expansive webs high in tree tops.

Habitat

Acromantulas tend to reside in jungles and heavily forested areas, and their webs are large and dome-shaped.

Image

Well, despite them being giant arachnid's with highly priced venom, I think, they are misunderstood. As Hagrid and his friend, Aragog showed, they can be tamed, and when they are, they can make amazing guardians. Now Hagrid and Aragog's friendship was one nobody could break, when Aragog died, Hagrid was extremely upset. I want this kind of bond with Tula. She is just, the perfect little bean for me. I also think Acromantula is a clever name, and it sounds effective and unusual. Most people have gone for feminine names like Kitsune or Siren. But I wanted to stand out of the crowd, not only choosing a more unusual name but by making it a monster that nobody else could think of.

Well, I guess you need to know what Tula is like as a person. Acromantula is, probably the average size for a newborn bean, and you may think, are new born beans meant to be able to read long novels such as Harry Potter? Well probably not, but Acromantula wanted to learn where she got her name from, so she taught herself to read and well, that is why she is so intelligent, but the problem is, Harry Potter is the only series she has read, so in her mind, school is Hogwarts, the world is magical. That is why she had the guts and courage to set off to find the Acromantula. So far we have discovered she is abnormally intelligent, loves to make the most of every day, enjoys reading and has a huge imagination, but she also has the guts, to sand up for what she believes in. Sven if everyone in the world insisted Harry Potter wasn't real, she wouldn't listen. As far as she thinks, it is real, and she would never let anyone change her opinion on that. She is also witty, always having a good enough answer for everything, which is what I think shapes a big part of who she is. She may, to someone who doesn't know her well come across as being slightly quiet, and maybe lonely. But to those who know her well, she is a witty, charming, intelligent, fun loving and clever character who sticks up for what she believes in, and is willing to search for the truth no matter what it costs.

I believe I am required to write a story. I would just love to say, I LOVED writing this, it was so fun and I was able to imagine every single bit of it, which was great!

Armed with my Fantastic beasts and where to find them, and every single harry potter book containing the word, Acromantula, I set off to find my name! I hoped Mummy was right, when she said, "Acromantulas are real!" but maybe, that was just to make me not sad... I pondered over this, but decided to go anyway, because if I didn't, I'd never know what I was missing. The woods outside my house, I decided, were the best place to start, but after searching for three hours flat, I could fine no spiders, but a few small ones under a log. I sighed, sitting down on a tree stump and opening my book, then I realised my mistake. Acromatulae were originated in BORNEO! How was I going to get to Borneo?! Then I remebered, the port! If I caught the bus from down the road, I'd get to the port! I'm sure I could find a ship going to Borneo there!

I stood at the bus stop, a small rucksack slung over my back filled with essentials

1. My books
2. A large supply of toffee popcorn
3. A large flask of water.
4. A torch
5. Some rope.

The bus arrived and I hopped on, it was empty. I payed for a return trip to the port, cause I would be coming back and took a seat. Then, finally it occurred to me... What if I got stuck? Or killed! The thought made me shudder, but I needed to know if Acromantula's do exist! No, I KNOW they exist, I just need to meet one in person. I opened my beast book, and read up about them. Apparently, they are impossible to train... But what about in Harry Potter? Hagrid knew a whole clan of them! But they nearly killed Ron... Oh well! I'm sure they'll like me! As the bus screeched to a halt, I was sent flying forward in my seat and the bus driver grunted, "We have arrived at the port, next stop, the mall." a grabbed my belongings, stuffing them in my bag and I ran to the front, almost leaping with excitement down the steps and onto the pavement. I was at the port.

I looked around, stuck. Ok, I had managed to reach the port, but how would I get to Borneo? Well by boat duh, but which one? There were easily over 100! I walked over to a nice looking man and asked, "Excuse me sir, do you know where I can find a ship to Borneo?" the tubby man stared at me and said, "Actually, I am going to Borneo on my boat, the Brown Banana, my ticket prices are free. We are only a small cargo ship, but we can fit a little creature like you on! Greetings my young traveler, my name is Granger." I looked at the man curiously, before slowly putting out a paw and said, "That would be wonderful! My name is Acromantula, but if that is a mouthful, Tula is fine!" Granger laughed, his round belly shaking like a bowl of brown leather jelly, for that was what he was wearing, said, "Well, that IS a long name, so I may stick to Tula! Well then, hop aboard!"

He took me to a small, old looking cargo ship. It was filled with cocoa beans and he said, "My ship's job is to take the beans unsuitable for chocolate, coffee and cocoa and take them back to Borneo for the natives. I'm afraid you will have to sleep down here with the beans, but it's perfectly comfortable and safe, although there my be the odd rat." I opened my mouth to protest, but he slammed the door, leaving me in darkness. I opened my bag and swiftly put on my torch and the beam lit up a small corner of the hold. I snuggled into my blanket, and popped a piece of toffee popcorn in my mouth. Well, the next couple of days were certainly not going to be like any other.

The next morning, I was woken up as the boat was sent flying over a large wave. I crashed to the back of the hold and winced as I bashed my back. I shook my pelt clear of cocoa beans, which had spilt all over the cavern, I guessed today's job would be sweeping those up! I messed about with my torch for an hour or so, flashing sequences over the opposite wall, until the cabin door finally opened and Granger called, "Breakfast Tula!" I happily skittered over and stepped out of the cavern. The deck had been soaked through overnight from the storm and the sail was being repariedas we moved onwards, slowly. I stepped into the upper cabin, which was nicer, but smaller than the storage cabin down below. I was surved some horrible sea biscuits, and some sort of brown coloured brew before I was allowed to do what I wanted.

The day sped past, probably because I spent most of it laying in a hammock, which Granger gave me, reading Harry Potter and eating sea biscuits, which I have actually taken quite a liking to. That evening, I was sitting in bed, eating a few pieces of popcorn and drinking my water when Granger said, "We will arrive in Borneo tomorrow little miss Tula!" I was over the moon! I was going to meet an Acromantula, at last! I went to sleep almost immediantly, and when I woke up, we had arrived.

The forests were full of trees, infact, it was huge! I knew the jungle would be much denser, where they lived, and they would probably be guarding treasure of some sort, so I asked Granger for locations on old temples. He told me the best place to look, but to be sure I was back by morning tomorrow, or they would sail without me. So I told him not to fret and set off on my quest.

I'd been walking for around an hour, when I reached the temple. I'd been clever, leaving a trail of pebbles, and beating out a track with a stick, for me to follow. That's when I saw him. He was absolutely huge, covered in thick black hair, and had eight, beady black eyes and long venomous teeth, just how I imagined. Mum must have either been on drugs, or thought of it as a bit of a joke when she had named me, because how I resembled this thing, I had no idea. Or maybe she just liked the name? I called up to him, and those eight eyes, one by one, stared at me, unblinking. He made his way down, down the crumbling stone steps and he said, "Who's there?" I called, "My name is Acromantula, and I have come to discover the monster I am named after!" he chuckled and said, "My name, Is Zehn, and I. Am an Acromantula." I stared at him for a few moments before asking, "Oh well, could I well, take a photo?" he shook his head and I gulped and said, "Oh.... Well could I draw you then?" much to my delight, he agreed and I took out my piece of lead, and book and above the name, Acromantula, I began to draw, my name.

I scuttled back to the ship, my notepad filled with drawings, information and names of the Acromantula. Granger was waiting for me. He didn't ask anything but simply lifted me onto the ship. I ran straight to my cabin, opening my sketchbook. I ripped of the label on the inside cover that said, "Acromantula. D. Storm" and wrote, "Acromantula's book on Acromantulas." And began writing all about the giant black spiders, who were so much more friendly than I first thought!

When we arrived home, it was early morning. The only thought in my head was, "What will Mum say?" I thank Granger and his crew and caught the bus back home, awaiting my mother's wrath. When I knocked, it was her that opened the door and she just pulled me into her arms and cried, "Where did you go darling?" and I said, "I went to find the Acromantula's!" she rolled her eyes and said, "Well I'm sure you were disappointed then!" I shook my head and said, "No! They are real!" she tutted and said, "Come on now, I'll make you breakfast."

The end.

Despite Aragog, being a friend of Hagrid, and a nice Acromantula, in the final battle, they actually fought for Voldemort, now this extremely upset Acromantula, as this is one of the only times an Acromantula appears in Harry Potter, and it took a while to convince Acromantula not to change her name. Since they haven't been around for a long time, and since Harry Potter is only a fiction, I could find almost no legends. It guarded the cup in the triwizard tournement, but that is about it for legends.

I think it is important to put, why I entered. It is true, I enter for a lot of JBD's, but most of them, are out of desperation to win a JBD, and most of the time I forget to finish the form. But I swore to myself, if I don't win little Tula, I will be so upset. She is just, so perfect and the 2nd bean I have ever felt such a strong connection too. The 1st was 314, and when I didn't win her, I was absolutely gutted. But I pulled myself back together, when I saw Acromantula, I knew, she had to be mine. If I won her, sheesh, it would mean the world to me. Literally, everything. The first thing I would do, is skive of school and spend the whole day drawing Fanart. Then, I would set up a few roleplays with fellow JBD's because I feel it is important, to get friends when she is little. Then I would set foot in the fanforum and introduce her to all JBD owners, I am already a member, so you know, it is all ready to recieve her. Just please, let me win my first bean, and for it to be Tula, it would make my entire CS life, absolutely perfect.

And also, what I would do with her. She is, a very special little bean, so she would have to be used the right amount. First of all, she would take over my signature, and I would spend a few hours browsing for art shops to draw her, because I cannot do Oekaki. Then I will color in all the linearts. She would have the top space on my JBD thread, because I have no other JBD's, meaning she would also get the most attention. I would then start to make friends with her, because she has to be social, make herself known. I would probably set up a few roleplays and do those for a while, I have already done this with my JMD Taliska and friends. Then, I would definatley set out for the fan forums, or I may do that earlier, she is so precious, please make her mine <3

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive

I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am

Do you know me?
