This boy, right here, is gorgeous. As soon as I saw him, I had to have him. I think he is a very handsome Jelly Bean Dragon. JBD's are very cute, and I want one. I have been trying to find one that interests me, like this one. Every other one except for some that have already been taken, have failed to interest me, unlike this boy. He is so wonderful and I would be extremely happy if I won him.

~Fun~
Austin is very fun to be around! He always comes up with something fun to do and never fails to come up with something. He loves having fun. If he isn't having fun, he isn't happy and is grumpy.

~Imperfect~
Like everything, Austin is imperfect, and he thinks that is just fine. Austin makes mistakes, a lot of them, but thinks that's alright. He underdtands he can't be perfect and accepts the fact. Although, he does try to be perfect.

~Helpful~
If something is in need of help, Austin is right there, doing everything he can to help them. If it is something extremely serious, he calls for help, and until help arrives, he is trying everything to help them.

~Funny~
Austin can be very funny. He loves to tell jokes and loves to hear ones from other people. Very rarely does he fail to make other people or Jelly Bean Dragons laugh. He loves it when people laugh at his jokes.

~Athletic~
As well as everything listed above, Austin is very athletic. He loves to run, jump over things, chase things, and catch things! He works hard to become good at whatever sport it is or whatever he is doing.

~Tricky~
Don't let all of his good traits trick you into thinking he has the nicest personality and is one hundred percent completely nice! He can be very tricky and play tricks. If he doesn't like you, Austin will probably play a trick on you! You better stay on his good side!

~Genuine~
Aust is very honest. He believes lying is extremely bad, and swore to never lie, to anybody. He doesn't like people that lie and if someone lies to him, he gets extremely upset and hurt.

~Reliable~
This dragon is very reliable. You can count on him to keep a secret, do a job, deliver something, anything! That is how he gains peoples trust, by being reliable and never betrays anybody.

~Focused~
When Austin has to do something, he is very focused and won't stop doing something until his task is done. He won't even talk to anybody until he's done what needs to be done.

Austin was born in Australia, in a barn next to the ocean. When he was just a tiny baby, he would watch the waves lap at the shore and watched the seagulls fly and dive. When he could finally walk, he began to explore and loved it! The first place he explored was the beach, of course. He trotted in the sand and chased the sea gulls. Even caught one once. But he had accidently hurt it, and felt terrible. He barely went to the beach after that, and became more careful with things.
Soon, a fence was put up around the barn. He was sad because he couldn't get back into the barn with his family now. He slept outside one night, and it was cold. Finally it was morning. His father walked out and simply jumped over the fence. Austin just stared at him like he was magic. Why didn't he think of that?
The only problem was, it was to high for him. So he began to make small hurdles and would practice jumping over them. He could soon jump over twenty feet high! If he had a running start atleast. Then he jumped over the fence easily and was so happy to see his family again. But, not only was there his family, but other animals and JBDs to! There was a Chihuahua named Laurel. He walked over to her. "Hi! I'm Austin!" he said. Laurel looked at him. "hello!" she woofed cheerfully. "Hey, will you help me with something?" she asked. "Of course." Austin said. Laurel asked him to find her necklace. SHe had lost it and couldn't find it anywhere! Austin started looking for it. Other animals would try to talk to him, but he would gently push them aside with his big tail and continue looking. He looked at the beach. He saw something shiny. He got excited and raced towards it. WHen he got there, he was dissappointed. It was just a piece of metal. A week later, he walked up to Laurel. "Did you find it?" she asked. He sighed. "Please be honest." Laurel said. "No, I didn't find it." he said quietly. 'I'm sorry." Laurel was sad, but said, "Okay, thats for being genuine and atleast trying to find it." she said and padded away.
Then, a big dog came over and started saying mean things to Austin. Austin did not like that or this big dog. The big dog had lost his red collar. Austin looked around. He saw it. He waked over to it and tied a clear string to it. Then he placed it in front of the big dog and hid. The big dog noticed it and tried to get it. Austin tugged on the string, out of the dogs reach. The dog realized what was going on and was mad. "Don't be mean, and nothing bad will happen to you!" Austin said, laughing.
A few years later, Austin was full grown, and an adult now. His horns had grown in and he was very handsome. A lot of the female JellyBean Dragons fell in love with him. But he wasn't intested in any of them. Austin was eatting chocolate chip cookies, his favorite, when a few kid JBD's came over and wanted to play. "Oh alright. Just one round of hide'n'seek and I'm done!" he said. He hated making the little ones sad, so that is what he did, and it delighted them. AT the end, he gave them all a cookie, his favorite kind, a chocolate chip cookie. He wanted to have a baby JBD, but he couldn't find the right female. So he decided to wait until he found the perfect female. As well as looking for a female, he is looking for a best friend! He can't wait to find both and is excited.

Austin's favorite food is... COOKIES! He loves all types of cookies, but Chocolate chip cookies are his favorite. He will eat any kind of cookie. A chocolate cookie, sugar cookie, pumpkin cookie, snickerdoodles, you name it, he loves it. With chocolate chip cookies, he loves when they just come out of the oven and its warm and gooey. Austin loves when the chocolate chips are melted when they first come out of the oven.

One day, Austin decided he wanted to try something new. But, he could not think of anything. He decided to take a walk around town, to see if he could find any ideas. As he was walking, he walked by a bakery. It smelled so good! "Mmmm! I think I will try baking!" he said to himself. He walked back home to his house. He used the ingredients required to make cookies. He stirred it using a spoon, and held the spoon with his tail while he prepared the oven and got the timer ready. Then he put the cookies on a pan and into the oven.
Finally they were finished. He pulled them out, using his tail. Turned out, the oven temperature was to high and they had burned! He sighed and threw them away. Back to the town he went. He walked past a hair cut place. "Hey! Maybe I could try to do that!" he said to himself. Then he went back home. He opened up his own little haircut shop. A JBD walked in. He jut wanted his fur trimmed. "Easy!" Austin said. He got out scissors and began to cut the fur on the dragon. He finished. He had cut all of the fur off! "I'm really sorry!" Austin apologized repeatedly. Back to the town, again!
He walked around some more. He found a rock climbing place. "Maybe this will be the one!" he said confidently. He walked home, once again. Since he lived by a mountain, it was very big, he decided he would try to climb it. He began slowly. Getting faster as he got better at it. Soon he had reached the very top. "Wow!" he said, "I actually did it!" Austin exclaimed. Austin had finally found something he was good at, something new, that he planned on doing for quite a bit.

(The story and history were short because I was kind of rushing, I wanted to get this all finished before judging. Also, I know my form isn't as long as some others, but I really did put alot of effort into this, I really did.)

This was kind of like my "love at first sight" JBD. I have liked others, but this one is seriously my all-time fave. I think his colors are perfect and his design is so unique. He is beautiful and wonderful and is just perfect for me. I would treasure and order art of him all the time and you can count on him being loved.

Pebble is a sweetheart. He loves life and everything in it. Many JBD's admire him for his spotless personality, he is always loyal, brave, sweet, friendly, and also is pretty funny. Every JBD that befriends him love him for who he is, a sweetly unique JBD that can always make you laugh. He actually says jokes that makes no sense so you have to laugh about how weird it is. Pebble never, ever changes to fit into the crowd, he's his own person and doesn't want to change that. He loves to be different from the others, thats what makes him so special.
When he is around Passion, his secret crush, he turns goofy. He starts saying random stuff that is just... well, random! Pebble zones out looking into her eyes and when he comes back to reality something major might have happened and he had no clue at all. He always says,"When I'm around her, it makes my legs feel like butter on hot concrete!" And you can see it, too, when he's around her. Pebble loves her with all his heart and would never think about turning to a different JBD.

Well, Pebble is basically just a regular JBD. He was born with two loving parents and an older sister. His sister [Toko] and him would always go to the pond and dig through the pebbles and try to find the prettiest one. Pebble would always say,"I think I'm the prettiest one!" Toko would laugh at this joke even though he said it every time they went to the pond. Pebble got his name because of the pretty pebbles that surrounded the nearby pond. They are a clay brown with darker streaks across it, just like his fur.

His favorite food is tater tots. He likes potatoes and thinks that tater tots are the most genius food ever invented. It has been his favorite food his whole life and will never change.

When I first spotted this JBD, the first word that popped into my head was 'Everest'. I wasn't sure it would work, at first, but as I searched and searched for another name, I continually began to realize that this was the name for him, representing his courage, his strength, and his fearless, wild spirit.

Well, this is actually a nickname. My real name is Aaron, but my father always called me 'Mount Everest', mainly because I was much larger than most JBDs my age. It didn't take long before everyone started calling me 'Everest'. At first, it was kinda' annoying, but it wore on me and I love it now. It brings back good memories.

It is obviously noticeable that Everest is an adult now, due to his size and the appearance of his horns. But, to be precise, he is about twenty-six years old.

Gah. I'm getting old! Sure, it's great to have my horns, but seriously, I have so many more things to do and such little time!

It isn't that hard to tell that Everest is a male.

You have to ask?

Why I want him? Where do I start? Well, first of all, might I mention that he has stolen my heart. No, not literally, but you get the idea. I've drawn a character in my head with him, and it fits so perfectly, I just want to do everything I can to keep him. The beauty and art of having another character, and being able to write about him, draw out his life, it has so much importance. When I have a character, I feel what he feels, and know what and how he thinks. It gives me great pleasure to think that I have even a small chance to have the ability to do this with Everest. I want to keep going, to go into every detail of why I want him, like how I love his colors, or that he would be my first JBD, or that just the simple fact that he exists makes me happy, but I will leave it at what I have said, for now.

To have True as an owner would be great! I know that even with an owner, I will have freedom. I know that True would always be there to comfort and support me, and give me a place for shelter when I need it. I know she loves me. I can feel the warmth in her heart whenever she speaks about me. It's really wonderful to know someone cares about me that much.

One of the most notable things about Everest is how friendly he is. He is outgoing and loves to spend time with other JBDs. He will approach any stranger in need if he sees them in trouble, and is not quick to judge. He is a strong believer in second chances and stubbornly refuses to let himself become narrow minded or judgmental.
When it comes to loyalty, Everest can become unusually serious. He looks down upon disloyalty and betrayal, and knows fully well what harm it can cause. He is equally honest, which added to his loyalty, makes him a trustworthy friend.

It is not hard to tell that Everest is very stubborn. It is usually noticed in the first few minutes of meeting him. He can be stubborn about even the smallest things, such as trying to rid himself of an annoying fly, or about something as big as hiking to the top of Mount Everest, which he plans to do sometime soon.
Everest is very brave, and has a strong, bold spirit. He isn't afraid to take on any task, big or small. His pride can sometimes get the best of him int this case, because he does believe that nothing can frighten him and thinks he can taking anything and anyone on.

Alright, fine, I admit, I'm a bit too stubborn and proud. But hey, I'm still friendly!

When Everest was born, his mother and father both decided his name. They were a small, happy family, for the first few months. But Everest and his mother were alone constantly, his father gone off on some adventure. Everest's mother was kind, caring, and quiet. She didn't talk much, but was always supportive and comforting. Everest was almost the exact opposite, rambunctious, loud, and sometimes inconsiderate of others. He would sometimes get annoyed by her worrying and such, but as time went on, and he rarely saw his father, he realized he was her only family, the only thing she could hold on to, and he began to change how he acted. Everest started caring for her, helping her through the day, and spending as much time as he could with her. When his father would come home, he would leave them alone to spend time together, and would leave for a while, going off on his own to explore the world. Whenever he would return, his mother would be there, and his father gone again. Life went on like this for a while, until his mother began to grow old, and his father didn't return. Everest was grounded there, in a way. He was too afraid to leave his mother, and because his father hadn't returned in the past few years, he had no time to get away for his own time. Eventually, his mother died, due to a weak immune system. Left alone, he set out to search for his father, who everyone presumed dead. He stubbornly refused to think so. Everest wanted to make up for the time he never had with his father. He wanted to have a relationship with him. He did not hesitate to start the search. He at first started in a small area, asking around, and was surprised by how little information he received. This made him even more determined, though. He widened his search, usually spending all of his time moving around to new towns, asking about his father. Gradually, he learned more and more of his father, occasionally hearing stories about the mountains he climbed and the adventures he had made. These stories pleased Everest, and he soon found himself wanting to conquer these same tasks. It was when he heard how his father died that he found himself wrapped up with sadness. All these stories had made him feel close to the father he had never really met, and the story of his death was devastating. The JBD who told him the story had apparently been a close friend of his father's, and was there when he died.

"Well, your father was quite the stubborn one." The elder had said. Everest pricked his blue green ears and waited eagerly for him to continue.
"He and I, we were hiking up Mount Everest. He had a self motivation like no other. I was beginning to question our chances though. It was cold, the wind harsh and bitter. He refused to admit it, but I could tell Aaron was growing tired too. I just knew it. As we climbed higher and higher, we become slower and slower. Even that Aaron was starting to slow down. On occasion, we would stop for a moment to rest. Then, suddenly, all the wind stopped. There wasn't a sound. We were both silent, and I think Aaron was about to say something- no, he was definitely trying to say something. He opened his mouth, and then there was a sudden gust. The wind was overwhelming for us both, I lost my grip, and grabbed me by my paw, holding on as tight as he could. He pulled me back up, stumbling in the process. The wind was still blowing, but I had regained my balance. He was already fallin' before I could do anything to help him. He was slipping away so fast, I couldn't even move. I was frozen to the spot, in shock. Your father disappeared from my sight, and I instantly scrambled after him, even knowing it was too late. Your father was already gone, but I didn't want to believe it. I searched for a while, but as I grew colder, sleepier, I had to give up. I eventually hiked back down the mountain and returned home, telling no one what had happened." Once the elder had finally finished croaking out the words, Everest remained silent for a few long moments.
"So that's it? He's dead?" He managed finally. The elder nodded, but then put his muzzle to Everest's ear. "Nobody else knows about this. Nobody. And don't you tell them. You promise you won't tell no one?" he whispered fiercely. Everest swallowed, but then finally nodded, quickly standing and gather his pack before he headed towards the door. There wasn't another word spoken between the two, but Everest had made up his mind. He was going to hike up Mount Everest, and he was going to fulfill his father's dream.

... That is very private information. I would rather not talk about it. It's too long a story, anyways.

Everest's favorite food is most definitely cheese. Anything with cheese in it, he loves. Another one of his favorite foods is strawberries, which his mother would occasionally give to him as a special sweet.

Cheese. Definitely cheese. Strawberries aren't too bad either.

Everest was lying comfortably under a tree, which was alone in a meadow. He cleansed himself with his forked tongue, carelessly overlooking his surroundings. He had been more careful upon arriving here, but was now becoming more relaxed, having decided there was no threat here. He was about to open his pack and pull out a snack, when a growl called his attention. He pricked his ears, immediately alert. Everest scrambled to his paws, having recognized the growl belonged to a wolf. Not far from him, he could see the silhouette of a large canine, which was obviously the one who possessed the growl. Everest swallowed, grabbing his pack and letting out a growl of his own. The wolf already knew he was there, so he wanted it to know that he too knew of it's presence. The creature emerged from the shadows, and Everest began to second guess himself. This wolf was rabid, foaming at the mouth. However, foolishly, Everest didn't retreat. He lashed his long tail, bunching his muscles as he prepared for an attack. Suddenly, the rabid animal launched it's body towards him. Everest dodged the attack, jumping to one side. The wolf let out a yelp of surprise as it stumbled into the ground. Quickly, Everest bounded back to the wolf, who was still recovering, and tackled it, barely managing to avoid a bite, which was aimed at his neck. But, hard as he tried, the wolf pinned him to the ground. Out of desperation to defend himself, Everest finally released his fiery breath, which burnt into the wolf's skin, causing it to cry with pain and run quickly away. Everest lied there for a few moments longer, his breaths short and shaky. As he recovered, he found that he had scared himself, for he had never used his fire before.

Well, that wolf was quite a story. I will never forget it. I wonder if he died?
