prompt; Pierre replies to Carbon with enthusiasm, "Wow! The paint job is looking good so far. I really like the blue on these." He feels excited to see the carts all painted and polished soon. Learning that Carbon has finished adding the springs, Pierre's curiosity once again peaks on how relevant the springs play a role in all these. Fortunately, Carbon offers him to take the carts for a spin as a test run. Pierre, of course, accepts the offer and hurries toward the ride so he can experience it himself. "You'd let me do the honors? How nice of you! Of course I'd love to test out the ride. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much I've been looking forward to this."

Pierre ecstatically hops into one of the bumper cars and steps on the fuel pedal. He starts moving at a slow pace and he rotates the wheel so that he can get a feel of how sensitive the controls are. After a while, he finds confidence in himself that he can handle the ride well. He steps on the fuel completely and the cart reaches its maximum speed. Pierre goes around squealing: "Wheeee!" He manages to drive around smoothly but towards the edge, he swerves a bit too late and hits another cart. His cart bounces off so far, yet the impact cannot be felt at all. Pierre now understands how important the springs are when it comes to bumper carts.

Pierre gets off the ride after having lots of fun and consults Carbon regarding his experience on the cart. "The springs definitely help with the collision with other carts. I barely felt anything when I hit the other kart at full speed. You did great!"

prompt; Sugar was a bit unsure of these new modifications made to the bumper cars but she thought she'd better give it a try before she judged it. Getting in the car it seemed to drive normal so that was good, but when she first bumped into one of the other cars that's when things changed. She bumped into a car in front of her and the two of them went flying apart. The springs seemed to make them bounce away from each other much harder than before. "I'M SORRYYYYYY" Sugar called to the other chicoon she bumped into as they both went spinning around the rink. Sugar got very dizzy and decided after that round she was gonna sit the bumper cars out for a bit.

prompt; Giving Carbon a thumbs up, he left them to finish up their work on the other bumper karts. He spotted one of the new karts they had modified with the springs and happily got inside the kart. He saw a few other chicoons had also gotten in the karts and he grinned as he started the kart. It took off soon and he zoomed across the flooring honking with excitement and bumping others. [wc-73]
