Prompt:

Finding only a cool looking stone, Burst held it in his mouth as he padded around the maze more. He was to far in to turn back if he wanted too. He doubted he could find his way back anyway. So feeling slightly irritated with myself for getting lost, he proceeded forward. Don’t get him wrong, Burst loves a good maze, but they normally dealt with them on paper. Not having to truck through one.

Before stopping to rest, Burst heard some strange noise within the maze hallways before him. His head wings perked outward and his fur stood on end. What was that?, he thought to himself as he was hesitate to proceed forward. But suddenly he seen a glimpse of blue. THERE IT IS AGAIN!, his thoughts boomed in his head as he took chase after the strange light. The feeling of irritation and hesitation was no more. Burst was feeling determination and wanted to catch whatever was making this blue light.

But just as before like at the entrance, the strange blue light was gone. Burst plopped down on the maze floor to catch their breath, “Ah fiddle sticks. I lost that light again.” Looking around to where he was now at, all he seen was cracks in the wall, a few pieces broken off and scattered everywhere. What is this part of the maze?, he wondered as brought his self to his paws. He began to look around, leaving his stone he found close by.

Prompt:

After realizing the slender arms that climbed up the wall was merely shadows casted by blades of grass, Nox took back to his feet and tried to regain his composure, before taking a nervous gulp of air and continuing deeper into the maze. He carefully hopped over large cracks in the tile. "What could have cause these?" He whispered under his breath well looking at the large ruptures in the tile. A monster maybe? Another chicoon? Or could it be easily explained away simply by age and weathering of this old warren of corridors. Nox hopped it was the latter of the three. [103]

Prompt:

Trying not to be lost is an understatement, every turn he takes he can't really remember where he's been, more deadends, but he also finds.. Cracks? In the walls, he doesn't want to look through them however, afraid he may get his eye poked out, so he continues on.

He gently feels the writing on the walls, finding it very odd that ANYONE would write in the maze, but weirder that he can't seem to understand the writing

He doesnt feel confident here so he hums some reggaeton to himself, full out singing it to himself eventually, this calms his nerves as the direction he chooses to follow is always the left side of the wall, trying to save himself from being lost

Sara
Prompt:

Despite her best efforts, Sara has lost track of the way she came. After all, the maze is very twisty and confusing in some areas. And eventually, the sheer number of directions to try to remember would get overwhelming for almost anyone. Nonetheless, they continue along their chosen path. Besides, just because she does not remember how exactly to go back the way she came, does not necessarily mean she is lost. They can still find the way out, right? ...Or more likely, eventually get so turned around that she accidentally finds the entrance again. At which point they would probably go right back in and try again, because Sara is determined to figure this maze out. As confusing as this place is, Sara is enjoying the challenge. At one point, she hears some sounds up ahead, and rushes forward to try to find the source. Maybe it is also the source of that blue light she saw before! Or another Chicoon also attempting the maze. This might be easier with a friend, Sara thinks.

Prompt:

Prismacolor felt like they were walking in circles, except instead of circles it was various zigs and zags as the maze continued. They'd already forgotten how long they had been in there. An hour? Two hours? Maybe more? Well, at least getting lost was half of the fun. Who knows what else there was to discover — such as the fact that not only were some floor tiles cracked, some of them were straight-up missing. Prisma figured maybe someone liked collecting tiles. Seemed like an unusual thing to collect, but to each their own, right? Surely there has to be someone out there who's as curious about tiles and Prisma is curious about the maze. But the chicoon is also confused: sure, floor tiles are one thing, but why bother with snatching tiles when they could be staring at the fun little symbols etched into the walls?

Prompt:

Whisper slowly ventured deeper into the maze. She drags her paws a little as she trudges on. She is not happy to be here. She's already starting to get confused. Always turn left... but at this rate it feels like she's going in circles. She's starting to regret coming here.

The monotony of the endless hallways is broken up by a soft feeling under her paws. Is that... grass? Looking ahead down the hall before her she notices that the usually smooth floor has been damaged, cracked and missing tiles scattering the floor. Growing up in the cracks through the hall are large patches of grass. At last! Something that looks different. Whisper decides to stop and take a quick break, running her paws along the soft grass for comfort

Prompt:

Edith knew it was bound to happen. With so many winding hallways and dead ends she was no longer able to retrace her steps. The feeling of being completely lost was crushing and her anxiety began to increase. The occasional flash of blue light was both comforting and unnerving. On one hand it helped Edith not feel so alone, but on the other the other hand, what if it wasnt friendly? She'd much rather be alone than with something that was possible going to cause her harm. Edith continued onward, what else could she do anyways other then sit and feel helpless? As she continued onward she nearly tripped over a large rock that belonged to a larger pile of variously sized stones. Looking up it was clear where the large pile of rubble came from, a portion of one of the walls had collapsed leaving a dark gaping hole, something that was definitely not a comforting sight.

Chicoon participating (link): Bow

Prompt:

Bow and Companion make their way into the maze, watching with fascination as everyone splits off down hallways, like ants into their hill. He paused to observe some cracks in the walls, sticking his eye as close as he dared. One time he stopped so suddenly because he thought he saw a shadow pass by the crack, on the other side of the wall. Companion had walked headlong into his leg, already feeling the fatigue of their venture. Bow picks him up and places him on the backpack, where Companion worms his way into it, sticking his head out so he could rest but observe.
That's when Bow heard it. The sounds of feet on the ground, but coming from the same way as the shadow! Through the wall-crack!
This crack was different, bigger, Bow figured he might be able to wiggle through.
After much wiggling, and a momentarily displaced Companion, Bow was off after the footsteps. He could faintly hear them still, echoing in his mind and ears.
The floor was undisturbed, but when Bow looked back, he could see his pawprints in the settled dust... A shiver ran through him as he slowly turned around to the darkness.

Prompt:

Time wears on as Sweaty sits in a dead-end hallway. He decided that he would sit here until something interesting happened, but nothing interesting seemed to be happening, and it wouldn't anytime soon. He begins to inspect the tile floor more closely - there are a few chipped tiles in this section, but most of them seemed perfectly pristine, as if nothing had been down this hallway for a very long time. The chipped tiles had dust built up in the cracks, and spiderwebs long-abandoned trailed the walls. Not even a fly would come down this hallway, so the spiders had decided to emigrate. Noting this, Sweaty sits back down in the hallway and waits.

Prompt:

Honeydew starred in wonder at the patch of grass in front of them. It was pretty decently sized. They wondered how it could have grown so well in such a dim and dark place. There's no sun in here, nor is there some form of grow light or anything that could be used to grow this. Then a thought struck Honeydew. who was tending to this... The grass should be pretty high by now if it was assumedly growing continuously. How and why was it ... normal sized. Before Honeydew could ponder more on the grass something was visible out of the corner of their eye. There was a marking on the wall. Honeydew shivered as they looked at it. They hesitated before taking light and quick steps along the grass. They made long strides and eventually were on the other side of the patch. They put their paw up to brush it against the marking. The marking was seemingly carved into the maze wall. "What does this mean..." honeydew whispered to themself.
