Entry: Meelis honked excitedly. She dashed into her tent to grab her favorite camping food. Moments later, she poked her head out while holding a big bag of corns. Meelis started a fire not far away and grilled some of the corns carefully. When they were cooked perfectly, Meelis licked her lips and gobbled up most of the corns she made. With a full stomach, Meelis shared some leftovers with Wes and other campers. Oh, how she could eat this all day.

Chicoon: Sundae

Entry: Sundae grinned at the group of chicoons around him, he had been invited by his friends a few campsites over to share stories into the night... but Sundae had other plans, he wanted to show off the neat camping trick he had found while browsing the internet before the trip. The group of chicoons, Yogurt, Mingo, JB, Staars, and Toby (who was also visiting), watched Sundae closely as he pulled out his array of strange 'ingredients.'

Sundae pulled open a gallon ziplock bag, filling it with a couple of handfuls of ice that he had stored in the cooler. The faces of the chicoons around him twisted in confusion as he cascaded salt into the bag, much more salt then what you'd find in the ocean! It stuck to the ice like sand, coating each ice cube with a thick layer of sodium. Sundae jokingly went to eat from the salted ice bag, and many of his friends laughed and teased as he feinted, but the salty ice was not the dessert he had promised them. As the group was laughing Sundae pulled out a can of coconut milk, the eyes of the group were instantly drawn, curious gazes watched and drooled as Sundae slowly opened the can of coconut milk and poured its contents into a smaller ziplock bag. Sundaes movements were painfully slow, his eyes scanning over his friends, egging on their curiosity and eagerness to participate. Sundae added a few personal touches to the bag of milk, some vanilla, a few fine chunks of pineapple, and last but not least (his favorite part) some finely shredded coconut! He zipped up the small milk bag, careful to make sure the bag was entirely closed- no holes or breaks in the bags' zipper- then added it to the salty ice bag! He wrapped the icy bag in a towel as his friends murmured to each other, their eyes still focused on the package Sundae had been setting up. Sundae sloshed the bag around in the towel, tossing it back and fourth, massaging and kneading the bag slowly but never stopping.

Sundae spoke up as he moved the bag around, starting the first story of the night- but his friends seemed to be quite distracted by the towel. After a few minutes he stopped his story, commenting on how it seemed nobody was listening, but he had a sly grin on his face- he only knew nobody was listening because his story was complete nonsense, but not once did anyone blink or speak up about the nonsensical story, everybody was watching the bag! Sundae mentioned the bag, motioning to it and mentioning the distraction it seemed to have on everyone, this snapped a few of his friends out of their trance and Toby spoke up, asking about the coconut milk, and why Sundae insisted on adding it to the salt bag! Sundae chuckled and neatly unwrapped the towel from the -now half-melted- ice, he opened the ice bag and pulled out the contents. Sundae slowly revealed the coconut milk had turned thicker, the bag no longer held liquid, but a creamy cold treat. Sundae had made coconut ice cream directly in front of them, no extra tools, no special tricks or magic, but icecream! in the middle of the forest! The group of chicoons instantly cheered and crowded around Sundae, eager to start their own ice cream and enjoy the treat in the hot summer night!

Entry: The fire flickered low; it was late now, all the other campers gone to bed, just the two of them wrapped around each other beneath the endless open sky. Argus leaned his head against his partner's shoulder, Acyd's halo brushing against his feathers as he disturbed it's path, and dropped the stick he held closer to the glowing coals. It's slowly-goldening treasure spun slowly in the soft light as its inside liquified. The other male nudged him with a small grin, holding out the layered chocolate and biscuit, ready to sandwich the gooey delight, a shared effort with shared rewards.

Smore's were by far the best treat on a cool night, and best shared with someone you love.

Entry: Cirrus dug around in her camping bag, her paws grazing over two empty bottles of sunscreen. Several minutes went by before she found what she was looking for. Recently baked granola bars were neatly stacked in a biodegradable container. Cirrus loved to make her granola bars with roasted almonds and dried fruits. The granola bars were both salty and nutty. Cirrus could eat all of the bars in one evening, but she decided to share the healthy treat with her newfound friends.

Entry: The two grey Chicoons watched in silence as everyone around the fire began to roast nuts or start to snack on various other herbs and fruits. Snowshoe flicked a wing and glanced at Periwinkle who huffed and turned to dig out a bag and handed it to them before digging out his own, Snowshoe purred and opened the bag with his teeth letting out soft churrs and chirps as the snacks where revealed, small acorns already dehat'd sat in the bag and Snowshoe stuffed his muzzle in to grab some.

Periwinkle ignores his partners alarmed honk a few minutes later after Snowshoe realized he couldn't get his head back out of the bag.

Raindrop always makes sure to pack some fruits for himself!! He loves fresh strawberries, and will sometimes bring kiwis too! His favorite food though? Taking two kiwi slices and one whole strawberry, putting them on a sturdy stick, toasting them a little bit, and then putting the whole thing in his mouth! It's like a bite of the world's best color, he's said.

Obsidian had never actually been camping before. He'd been working one day when a new thread was started on one of his favourite forums. At first he'd just intended to skim what was written. He didn't have a whole lot of experience with outdoor activities, what with his job requiring to be at a desk for most of the day. But Obsidian soon found himself deeply invested in all of the posts. How cool was all of the equipment! Some people had even managed to meet little animals on their camping adventures.
Obsidian wanted to try this camping thing.
Luckily for the Chicoon, he already had some camping equipment laying around. When his old roommate had moved out of the house, they had left some of their things behind that Obsidian could do what he wanted with. He had been intending to sell it, but now he remembered that one of the things that had been left was a large camping tent. As soon as his shift was over he ran to the basement and dug it out from under a bunch of boxes.
Setting the tent up in the backyard was a fairly simple task. Obsidian stood back and admired his work, hands on his hips. But his face soon fell as he realized that he wasn't sure of the next step. He pulled out his phone and started skimming the forum again. What else did he need to do to have one of these cool experiences?
An hour later he had a sleeping bag, a small fire, and several more articles on camping all set up and ready to go. Obsidian was once again standing over his creation, proud of the work he had done. Then his stomach growled, and a lightbulb went off in his head. Snacks!
His first instinct was to run to the refrigerator and grab a microwave meal, but he stopped himself. People who were out camping didn't have access to microwaves. Obsidian wanted to have the most genuine camping experience, so he knew he had to get creative. After raiding his kitchen, he ended up with the following:
Most of a loaf of sliced bread,
one jar of strawberry jam,
a small bag of cherry tomatoes,
half a pack of chocolate chip cookies.
This wasn't exactly a meal. Obsidian sat in his tent, stomach still growling. He'd just have to make this work.
He took a stick from the ground and used it to carefully hold a slice of bread over the small fire. His intention was to toast it, but all he really managed to do was make the bread kind of warm. Next he carefully spread a large helping of the strawberry jam over the bread. But he wasn't finished. Finally, he sliced some of the cherry tomatoes and arranged them on top of the jam. He put a couple of cookies on the plate next to his creation, and then looked it over.
The dish looked...edible. Obsidian took a deep breath and then took a bite of the food. He chewed for a while, then broke out into a smile. This was actually pretty good!

Rosemary goes into her tent to grab her favourite foods to eat which is grilled pineapple and roasted marshmallows, she get's a few sticks and attaches a few pineapple chunks & white and pink marshmallows on them. She then carefully cooks them above the camp not to risk burning her fur or over cooking them for too long overwise she risks having charred marshmallows and pineapple cause no one wants that at all. Eventually after sometime she gets them done perfect and eats some of them, but she saves the rest to have later on.
