We've been stuck at home for how long now, and I'm just getting so bored. I didn't get anything, like, that cool with Edward, other than the normal Victorian people you'd expect, so I tried just Ed..." he paused, tail flicking back and forth in nervous anticipation, "And I get to this page about Ed and Lorraine Warren. That sounded pretty neat, right? They looked like a sweet old couple. WRONG. I mean, not about the sweet old couple part, but it was NOT neat," Ed's eyes went wide as he pounced up and began turning on every light in the house. Not even the little night light next to the bathroom was missed on his rampage through the house, "They were demonologists, right?" he called back to the living room, "And instead of heeding the fact that I can't even make it through a PG horror movie, I just straight up dove into the rabbit hole of YouTube videos about these guys. It was a terrible idea. I am almost positive that we're haunted, and if we're not, we probably will be after I watched those videos," he returned to the couch and plopped down with a shudder, "Maybe... maybe we should watch a Disney movie before bed..." It was hard to even see, even though he had perfect vision. But the noise. Oh the noise it made. It was quiet, but constant. Like it was everywhere and nowhere all at once. So creepy. Why was it him? Why did it pitch him to chase and distract. What if it attacked him?? What if it bit him and it hurt?? It may be small, but small things can bite really hard. All of this raced through Vi`s head as he ran screeching, bolting through the back door of his house. He panted, out of breath from running, then he smiled, turning around in victory to the door. He blanched when he saw it. He hadn't escaped after all. The mosquito was in his house...

As Spooksliito crept in walking down the scary stairs that never seemed to be ending she saw red glowing eyes staring right into her soul she knew it smelt her fear so she tried to be the brave little girl her mum knew her as she wasn't going to let a little thing get in her way of the mission of grabbing berries for her sweet mum. She grabbed a bat and swung so hard at it and quickly grabbed the berries but the red-eyed monster CAME RUNNING TOWARDS HER AS THE FLASH, SHE RAN AS HER LIFE DEPENDED ON IT SHUTTING THE DOOR BEHIND HER LOCK TIGHT!. Her mum asked her "it looks like you've seen a ghost!" but little did she know she saw something worse than a ghost who wanted her blood.

"The Gargoyles."

Jeepers was on vacation. Or at least, they thought they were. Clinging to the side of their friends, the small kalon peered up as they approached a colossal cathedral. At first glance, from far away, it was nothing but a beautiful structure. Towering high above the city the group was visiting, it was almost like a gentle and welcoming entity. It was a beacon of light, and spirituality. But now..?

The group stepped up onto the concrete steps, worn down slightly by time as many feet had climbed these very steps over eons. Jeepers swallowed, their gaze slowly working up the front of the cathedral. Stained glass, and various pieces of artwork were carefully carved into the side. But the most unsettling..? The gargoyles. The monstrous statues loomed over the group, mouth open in a fierce snarl and paw lifted with claws drawn; threatening and spooky. The idols were on every corner, every concrete pillar that grew alongside the massive structure. In lore, they were guardians, placed there to frighten off monsters- but to Jeepers, they were just flat out spooky.

Jeepers was however no monster, but the very stony gaze of the creatures was enough to make their fur stand on end. Sure, they weren't there to be scary but.. the poor kalon couldn't help but be frightened. They yelped as someone bumped into them, and quickly trotted after their group. He certainly didn't want to get separated! Perhaps there weren't any gargoyles inside the building..

He had been told that they weren't real, but he asked some otherkalon and they told him it was an omen of bad luck, and if you saw one, well, there was no telling what exactly would happen. Mr. Giggables ran off before the otherkalon could tell him the rest: that there is always a good ending after dealing with the consequences from a shooting star.
