- Daffy’s Great Duck Hunt - Day 2
Username: Morghettio
Buttermilk: The Holy Trinity
Prompt: 2 - “This duck is still nowhere to be found. When everyone arrived at the farmer’s market this morning, they find that several booths have been chewed up, partially destroyed, or have been left dirty! There’s a trail of muddy, webbed footprints and some white feathers indicating just who the culprit is. Do you stay behind to help repair the damaged or dirty booths, or do continue on your search for this pesky duck? What made you choose this course of action?”
The duck man returns! New day, new duck outfit: it seems like someone got into the craft room.
By the time everyone begins to arrive at the farmers market, Morgan was... well, pretty much already there. He had been doing his best to find the flighty feathered culprit, who Morgan swears up and down he did see but was unable to catch, but at this point he focused on just repairs. In his mind, if he was really the only person on grounds, the duck would see him as a lone, fellow duck, in the quiet morning hours and come to him.
Of course, that did not happen.
So, the lanky man looks a bit awkward as he is in this duck costume, but it is easy to tell he is really doing his best trying to fix broken boards and destroyed displays. His husband is somewhere nearby, trying to lure the duck out with already half eaten duck feed (that the duck has not even touched yet).
Morgan spends the rest of his day in a mix of things: trying to repair booths where needed, and on his "breaks", spend his time looking for the duck (ie going to look at other booths).
