Nagaline: NPC
Prompt: 163 words
"By the time I arrived, there was music playing in the air. 'Street' jazz, if you will. I was doing my typical stroll down the Petal park when I saw a nagaline chirping to the song or attempting to. All around the forest, I heard mysterious sounds of nagalines chirping and creating their own tune to a song they had made up. I took out my earbuds and listened; it was rather beautiful if you ask me, and I wish you were there to hear it.
"One small nagaline came up to me and started chirping the tune, its eyes sparkling with innocence and wonder. I smiled and crouched down to it and a song came up on my radio. The nagaline chirped at me questioningly and started to try and chirp to the song. I smiled and started whistling along. I took the small nagaline home with me and we have listened to the song ever since, and exploring new ones too.."
Just vibing, hbu?
Just here to have a good time and to vibe the night away.

Nagaline: Wolpertinger
Prompt:
Wolpertinger adores music of all sorts, and will happily listen to any of it. He loves dancing and swaying, and will even say that the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, as well as rain falling to the ground, is beautiful music to him as well. But if there’s one song he particularly enjoys, it’s the “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” There are many reasons for this. One of these reasons is, quite simply, how childish and simple it is. It’s an easy, soft rhyming sequence that others can catch onto swiftly. Further, usually little ones learn this song early, and Wolpertinger absolutely adores little kids and loves playing, singing, and dancing with them. Plus, he really enjoys the overall song lyrics. He thinks it’s a cute little story about perseverance, and enjoys the fact that the little spider never gives up. To him, there isn’t anything not to love!
He especially loves going out to sing it when it’s actuallt raining, which is perhaps one of the reasons he likes to sing it in spring best. Thunder and lightning storms are a bit of a different story, as he wouldn’t be able to hear himself sing, but the gentle pattering rains of spring that most often occur are some he believes are perfect matches for the background music for his song and dance. Sure, he loves the song all the time, and will sing it most every time it rains, but spring is his favorite time at all, for in this song, it simply fits.

Ahhh sorry if this is too late

Prompt: one of the songs that gives x a lot of wonderful spring vibes would be goodbye stranger. its a song his father would play for him, and it always brought a grin to his face, even after the many years after his father passed. its an old song, but his father was never interested in any of the hip songs, and they would play it on his cd player. at times, when he's feeling down and needs a pick me up, he'll sit in his window and play it. it especially feels nice when its raining for him, and it always gives him memories of his father and him fishing or doing similar things. while the song itself doesn't have to do with spring, when he would visit him over spring break it would be all they listened to together, and it became their little thing. its one of the only memories he has of his father, and he even has a picture frame of him and his dad on the wall, his dad had signed it 'goodbye stranger' in bright yellow marker. he recalls the hot spring the photo was taken, and how bored the two were so they just took silly photos. now if you see him walking around with earphones in with a longing look in his eyes, he's probably listening to goodbye stranger.

Nagaline: Gonna use my patchwork baby Pix! Also featuring my MYO Desiree.
    Prompt:
It was nearing the end of flower season and petals drifted through the air as trees shed them in favor of growing fruit. Desiree was usually the one who collected flowers, but with all the extra petals on the ground her sticky paws kept getting covered in them. Thats how Pix ended up being the flower collected today. "Ughh! I can't work like this, can't you collect the flowers instead? I gotta go wash off my paws...AGAIN." His friends words echoed in his head as he neared the flower patch he had been charged with picking. He needed 4 purple flowers, 5 orange flowers, and 7 green flowers. This should be easy, he just needed to be careful where he stepped as to not squish any. Desiree usually used her sticky paws to grab the stem of the flower and pull it up, but that wouldn't work with his regular paws. Instead he unsheathed one of his claws and cut the stem near the bottom. The flower fell softly, landing on the ground without a mark. "That wasn't so bad." he thought as he went to go cut another flower.

After a few minutes of careful cutting he managed to get all 16 flowers, now he just needed to find a way to carry them back. Desiree usually carried them curled in her tail, but he couldn't really do that with his. He looked at his tail for a long moment before picking up a flower and shoving it stem first into his tail. He wiggled it around and the flower stayed firmly in place. "This'll work!" he thought, already shoving the next flower into his tail. He shoved them in wherever they fit, and eventually his tail was full of beautiful flowers. Happy with ingenuity he took off to go deliver the flowers.

He arrived back home a short while later, running into Desiree first. She scowled as he showed her his tailed, leaving him a bit confused. "Whats wrong? I got all the flowers like you asked." Pix said, glancing at his tail then back at Desiree. "Mmhm, and how do you expect us to get those flowers all out in one piece?" Desiree shot back, walking towards his tail and starting to tug at a flower. Even with her sticky paws, the flower barely budged. He never thought of how he'd get them out, to be honest. "Ohh, I... never thought of that." He said lowly, a look of disappointment crossing his face. "Clearly..." Desiree mumbled, finally pulling out a single flower, although it was now a bit crumpled and missing half it's petals. She sighed before turning back to face Pix. "Look, it's alright, we all make mistakes. Just go get those flowers out of your tail however you can and then i'll go with you to help pick some more. Only this time I'M carrying them." Her words brought a smile to Pix's face, and he ran off to clean off tail with a loud "Thank you!" being shouted back as he did so. Desiree just shook her head and smiled, that kid was a handful at times but he sure had a lot of heart.

Prompt: x was simply strolling through a meadow just down his street on a soft sunday morning, the dew on the ground damping his ankles but he didn't mind. a gentle breeze swept through his fur, as he listened to the simple tune of birds chirping. he had a humble grin on his face, bending now here and there to grab a lavender or a daisy to add to his bouquet. he didn't have anyone in mind to give the special collection to. perhaps he would keep it in his living room, to bring the familiar and comforting scent of the grassland to his home, or maybe he would bring to a friend or just give it to someone. he wasn't one to think about the future or even what he was planning to eat, he just enjoyed picking flowers in the quiet morning stillness.

but something stopped him. an odd sensation; a feeling, but not something he could see. something familiar, but not comforting. he swiftly turned around, but he saw nothing but more rows of flowers before a forest of trees for as far as the eyes could see. maybe it was just a cold breeze, he thought to himself, continuing to, or at least attempting to, enjoy his time outside. he kneeled down, running his paws along the buds of flowers before he looked up and saw a familiar frame, a figure he could never forget.

he stumbled up to standing, his eyes now wide as he gripped his basket tightly. but in the blink of an eye it was gone. he held his breath, not moving. he just stood there, gazing at the emptiness of where he saw the shadow, listening to the simple tune of birds chirping.

Nagaline: Wolpertinger
Prompt: and Luna
Wolpertinger loped, rather slowly by his standards, along through the grass, basking in the gentle warmth from the rising sun as it painted the cloudy sky with a brilliantly colored mural. He couldn’t help but smile as he breathed in the cool scent of the fresh spring wind, tinged with the sweetness of blooming flowers. There were many smaller flowers all around- dandelions, honeysuckle, roses- if you could imagine it in his springtime paradise, it would surely be there, maybe just around the bend. Even then he was on his way for one particular flower- one tinged a lovely blue around it’s edges with a striking white center. Of course, just any old blue flower wouldn’t do in this case. This was for a gift for Luna, who was trotting along at his side. Little Loon, as he called the tiny snitten, deserved the very best, and in this case? That meant his favorite flower- the morning glory. Spring was a time for celebration, and Wolpertinger wanted to give the little one a gift to tuck beside her now, or perhaps fashion into a simple flower crown if she ever took her bows off, and Little Loon was determined to have Morning Glories, though you may not have guessed if you didn’t know her, simply because of her shy nature.

But when they arrived to the stretch of Morning Glory’s... there wasn’t a flower to be found. The rains of the night before had been strong, and the wind too forceful... the flowers had retreated into their buds, and would not be coaxed out of them that day. Little Luna nearly cried when she saw this, not for her lack of flowers, but because she feared they had been hurt. She sniffled quietly as she went to the plant, closing her eyes and wishing it would be okay. She hardly reacted as Wolpertinger came up beside her, only shifting to lean her weight against him.

“Little Loon,” he said gently, brushing tears from her eyes, “your soul is good, and heart is sweet. But my dear, you need not cry for these flowers, for they are stronger than you’d think, tougher than they appear.” He gave a moment for Luna to look up at him, and listen, before continuing, voice soft as dandelion fluff. “My Little Loon, maybe today these flowers simply cannot bloom, maybe the rain was just too strong for them, and they need rest. But sweet Luna, you must know, the rain and hardships? They are necessary. They will happen, but they can be overcome. It may take time, but when it happens, you’ll find something even more amazing- for after rain these flowers bloom more vibrant than ever before.”

And with that sentence he picked her up and began to walk with her back the way they came, smiling as the sky began to drizzle. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, happy that Luna didn’t seem sad anymore. She was still young, but he knew she’d begin to understand the lessons he taught her. If he couldn’t teach her to play with flowers, as the weather was not so perfect... well, he’d just have to teach her to dance in the rain.

Nagaline: Hedone!
Prompt:
Collecting flowers was what Hedone had been born for.
Okay, maybe not exactly, but the young naga loved to do it and insisted it was one of her greatest talents - Gaia forbid she come home without at least one flower behind her ear - and today was the same, waking up to grab her bag and skip merrily down to the fields where she always gathered the pretty plants.
Once she found herself in the lush park she set to work, putting all of her attention to her task, sniffing out only the finest pink flowers - Gaia forbid they were anything else! - and painstakingly combing through the huge patches to find exactly what she needed.
Three hours in, and Hedone huffed, deciding it was definitely time for a break. She carefully dropped her bag of flowers onto the soft grass, plopped down besides it, and stretched out to enjoy the semi-warm spring sunshine.
Five minutes passed. A small rustling noise.
Ten minutes passed. Another small rustling, but this one distinctly coming from her flower bag.
Hedone sat up so fast that it hurt, but that didn't matter, because when she spun around to investigate she found a rabbit. In her bag. Eating her flowers.
Wasn't this the same rabbit that she'd caught stealing the purple flowers a few days ago?
Nonetheless, of course, this just couldn't be acceptable. In fact, Gaia forbid if she didn't teach this bunny a lesson!
So... Hedone leaped forward. And the bunny ran.
    And she chased it.
    For two more hours.
    And didn't catch it.
And also it ruined all her pink flowers.
    Hedone hated rabbits.
