Why these items?:
Ana is a prince - hence his crown and the royal signet pin that holds his toga together- from an ancient Greece-like kingdom of city-states. His particular kingdom (Chrysós) is largely mountainous and subsists greatly on mining, specifically for gold, but copper and iron as well. Though at a tense peace currently, Chrysós is often at war with other surrounding city-states; so the royal family tend to wear a ceremonial armor -- here, bracers and an armored skirt. The ear and nose rings? gotta be fashionable!

Karma spends most of her days performing as a belly dancer for the King. Seeing as she is kept as an entertainer, her costume is the only thing she is allowed to wear, however it does come in many colors. What the King doesn't realize, is that after he falls asleep and no longer requires her services she slips into the night to lure men to recruit for the royal army. (I would also like to apologize for how terrible the art is, I can't draw clothing very well)

Sunshine is a recently discovered super-powered villain! This is her disguise she uses to warp around the great city of Dewborough! It's an upgrade from the highlighter yellow tutu, black and white striped socks, and red hoodie she used before(the newspapers thought she was the hamburglar). Perhaps she should've gone with a more subtle black since she's the anti-hero, but Sunny is very partial to oranges and yellows(if that isn't as obvious as the nose on your face). So far the only one to figure her out is her younger cousin. There must be some strange magic floating around superhero and villain costumes that blurs your identity, and Sunny doesn't question it.

Why these items?: They have brightly colored fur, which while they believe looks good, there's a time and place for color and if he wore any brighter blues, greens, purples, etc. They'd clash too much. Though, he enjoys being comfortable too, comfortable and warm. He spends a lot of his time outside, especially in autumn, so he likes to wear nice, cozy clothes.The darker colors also help him to not really stand out too much in a crowd. while its dark, the maroon roses and shoes go well w/ the oranges and yellows of their fur.
