jordan maryland is a strange kalon. nothing is really known about him, to be honest. however, what is
known, is that his occupation is a dream catcher. he will visit people in their nightmares and fight the
monsters and creatures that are tormenting the sleeping kalon.

he has been doing this for years. there's nothing else to do in the dream dimension he's in, so he tries
to keep himself busy with his job, as there is always at least one kalon having nightmares around the
world every hour, every second, every day. he cannot stop doing his job, as the dream kalons that live
here cannot leave the dimension.

however, there is a catch. if jordan cannot rid the demons and evil entities in the dreams before the
sun rises in the sleeping kalon's region, he and the demons are transported back to jordan's dimension
- where the evil entities can now roam free across a large world, wrecking havoc on the world he and
many others call home.

many times has this happened to jordan, especially when he was less experienced in his work. on one
night he was trying to rid an evil basilisk-like creature for a kalon's dream, but sadly, he wasn't able to
by the time the sun peaked over the horizon. him and the beast were transported back to the dream
dimension, where the battle between them still raged.

eventually, after the fight, the basilisk gave up and retreated, leaving jordan bruised and bloody. he
had saved that kalon from their nightmares, yet by doing so, he released another terror onto his own
home world. this event lead jordan to be very a careful individual.

jordan is a very polite kalon who doesn't speak many words. he says what is needed to be said and he
does what needs to be done. nothing more, nothing less. despite his lack of communication, he can be
very affectionate towards those that he holds very dear to his heart, giving them endless cuddles and
kisses on the cheek.

however, if you were to get on jordan's bad side, you would just be ignored and casted away, as if you
merely didn't exist. he wouldn't want you getting in his way, so the best way to do that would be just
removing you from his vision and thoughts, and that's the only way jordan knows how to show dislikes.

xxxxx"HA! Yoshi sucka!" Marisol yelled, quickly locking in her character.
"Dude why would you do that! That's my dino man! We're super tight and you just stole him! Dude, pick Rosalina, you look more like her anyways." Sugar said grumpily, watching his right-hand man being stolen right from him.
"Ugh fine." Marisol exited off Yoshi, picking Rosalina at the same moment that Sugar violently clicked the A button to lock in his character.
They quickly selected their settings and listened to the countdown begin. They both quickly sprung into action.
"Ha dude, you're so gonna lose!" Marisol yelled, drifting around a corner as she leaned forward onto her knees in the classic serious gamer pose. Meanwhile, Sugar was leaned back on his side of the couch, using one of his extra two arms to pop a few chips into his mouth.
"Yeah but Yoshi is going to wreck you dude. He's the best." Sugar mumbled through the mouthful of chips, launching a green shell forward that he had just collected. The shell whipped forward and hit Mario, who's car slid off the side of the map.
"YEAH THAT'S RIGHT! DUMP ME INTO A PIT AGAIN HUH?!" Sugar yelled at the screen, over Marisol's hysterical laughter. As she was laughing she got distracted and fell off the side.
"OH JESUS NO!" She yelled, playfully slapping Sugar in the arm as her kart was carried back up. "You did that to me!"
"Pffft I didn't do anything! OH LOOK! FIRST PLACE OHHH!" He laughed, flashing a quick "I told you so" look at Marisol.
Then...it happened
The one item that all the good players dreaded of
The blue shell
Marisol quickly slid into one of the item blocks and got a huge grin on her face as it landed on the winged blue shell. Sugar had noticed and gasped loudly and Marisol turned to Sugar, holding the controller right in his face as she slowly pressed the button to unleash utter hell.
"MARI I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU!" Sugar yelled, laughing.
"Nah son, that's what you get for stealing my Yoshi!" Marisol giggled, watching as Sugar's kart got hit with the shell, knocking him down to 4th place as Marisol sped up from 6th to 1st.
"That's what ya get!" She yelled, drifting right across the finish line, ending the game.
"Pfft so? Just watch wreck you in the next round!"
