Fur that trickled twilight, the gentle paws, a gorgeous laugh and galore
Her eyes had always left a mark in Lucy's mind, shards of stardust, crystal and
quartz, that had fallen all the way from the Moon. Striking they were, but never did
they display a threat... Whilst they were strong, Aella had a wonderfully soft gaze,
delicately filled with empathy, intelligence, and a tenderness that would slay the
most horrible of nightmares and monsters thrown at Lucy.



Legends, novels, myths, fairy-tales... she'd read aloud often, Aella did. But always,
they were to Lucy's interest. The Kalon with the locks of peach would happily take a
seat, and breathe in each and every chapter of Aella's countless stories, willing to
listen hours on end to the hush of her voice, the excitement of the plot, the
interesting twists Aella would carefully weave upon the letters and words. To Lucy,
who spoke the language of poetry compared to literature, she crafted reading as a journey- a
adventure of endless possibilities and great detail. The dedication and passion of Aella's character
is what Lucy enjoyed most.

However,
Lucy never wanted her body.
Lucy wanted the company of Aella's soul, the warmth of her personality, the adorable way she smiled
and shook her head, she wanted the girl who she dedicated letters to as kits, the late-night telephone
calls, the embraces and hugs they shared. She wanted the way Aella would lovingly brush her peachy hair,
the flowers she dropped at the doorstep, those little forehead kisses, the girl who she would bore with
terrible jokes, the tea-time dates, the lazy days of laying together in fields of floral in May, those violet
bouquets. She wanted the girl who she would recite Shakespeare to, the paw-holding, the girl with the
imagination that fuelled her inspiration, those silly love notes, the lullabies, the magic of her being. She
wanted the girl she would ramble to, the girl who was made of a million and more constellations, the girl
who made her heart dance and flutter, the girl who she had always loved, forever and truly.
And Lucy still loved her, and she always will.
