Have you thought up any Kalon character concepts? Tell me about your favorite idea! Usually I have to see a design to come up with a character for it, but just today actually an idea popped into my head. She would be a book lover that spends time by herself or with a select few other kals. She regularly gets underestimated due to how little she puts herself out there, but in truth, has traveled the world a few times and simply enjoys the quiet life.

How long have you been trying to get a Kalon? Link your first Kalon-related post you can find! I've been kinda drooling over these tiny babs ever since I joined CS (sometime in late 2016, I think), but the first actual entry for one that I could find was January this year: Here it is. I have since entered for about four or five more, but I haven't won any yet!
Have you thought up any Kalon character concepts? Tell me about your favorite idea! I had a concept all lined up for a writing prompt one where the design looked kinda bipolar-ish to me, so I wrote a short narrative about them losing control of their body overnight and waking in the morning with no conscious memory of the events. I think it turned out kinda werewolf-ish? This is the original post: It's a little bit gorey.

Uhm, must have been this one :3 On February the 12th. So a little less than 2 months now.
Have you thought up any Kalon character concepts? Tell me about your favorite idea!
Well, my favourite idea so far was actually for the first one I tried on. He was ought to be some kind of royal. Probably not the heir himself, but a cousin or something. A guy who really knew how to behave correctly and also expected others to do so. If they did not, he wouldnt have corrected them though, because he is really shy. He also tried to keep one thing about him secret. Being homosexual. He thought it wouldnt be allowed in his family. He was really afraid of not being liked by his relatives. Actually he always wanted to liked by everyone. Others would often impose on his kindness and he would probably not even care. Better only be seen when they needed him, than never be seen at all.
He would be dreaming about a better world, where he was the brave knight. Where he was the king himself, and everybody loved him for being a wise and strong ruler. He would probably even write about this. He would actually be really creative, and enjoy writing and drawing. Also reading books was one of his hobbies. He loved nature, and especially the flowers. A thing, his family didnt appreciate, because it was to girly.

How long have you been trying to get a Kalon?

Unfortunately, I was on a long hiatus when Kalons first began on CS, so I never started trying to get one until after I returned to CS from my hiatus. But when I did return to CS in late November, it wasn't long before I learned about this major species. A friend of mine gave me interest to return to adoptable species and also introduced me to Kalons. From there, I checked out the species, and honestly at first I was a little underwhelmed. The kalons available at the time just weren't my preference for design. Also, on the surface, there wasn't much about the species that really grabbed my attention. However, that changed when I found Fall Kalon #4, the first Kalon I decided to try for. I loved their hair, their tail shine, their colors, their accessories, their pattern, and I especially loved their concept. The question about why they wear watches really peaked my interest, and so I fell in love with the kalon. I put my heart into my form, but I didn't end up winning. It was all right though, because it sparked my interest in the species. Now, I am really in love with all the amazing concepts, contests, and designs by all the really talented artists. I especially love how there's fewer boundaries for artists to use their creative spirits and create the designs they really want to create. And since there's more of an openness to create unique designs and contests, I think I'm always going to love trying out for kalons. The contests are just too fun, and the designs are just so cool and interesting. So, especially now, I have been really active in trying to get a kalon that I especially adore, especially since it really boosts my creativity, too.

Have you thought up any Kalon character concepts? Tell me about your favorite idea!

One of my favorite fictional characters grew up in a virtual reality, which led me to come up with what I think is a really interesting idea for a character concept for a kalon. The kalon would be smaller (shorter and thinner) than the average kalon, as they spend most of their time living in a virtual world. They have agoraphobia, the fear to be in open spaces, caused by their social anxiety and a traumatic experience when as a young kit, they sneaked into a construction site for fun--but ended up almost getting crushed by large planks of wood. Ever since the experience, they grew more and more fearful of the open world and started hiding inside their house, only to become socially anxious as well. Eventually, the kalon was too afraid to even go outside anymore and shut themselves inside their house. Still, as they grew older, they missed experiencing the world but still had irrational troubles trying to leave their home, knowing they didn't have to be afraid but still getting horrible panic attacks. Luckily, their doctor prescribed a solution--virtual reality. The kalon knew there would be nothing to fear in a virtual reality, because although it would seem they were outside, they would still be safe and comfortable at home. At first it would take a bit of time to get used to and be comfortable with, but with some willpower over a long period of time, the kalon began to enjoy life in a virtual world. It seemed better than the real world, as there were no real consequences to choices. The kalon could live freely without worry and it made them so happy after years of hiding in solitude. Here, the kalon could do what they wanted without having a panic attack anymore. They could explore the world, do dangerous and daring stunts like how they used to have fun, and just generally enjoy life. Overtime, living in a virtual world begins to corrupt the kalon some. They get too attached to it and rarely stay in reality except to eat, drink, go to the bathroom, or sleep. The rest of the time they experience life in VR. Not to mention, they know their actions have little consequences, so they start doing whatever they feel like, whether or not it's morally wrong. They don't mind living dangerously or criminally anymore. Their years of being bottled up in their house afraid for their life finally mess with their ethical perspective. They are tired of living in restraint and fear, and start acting very carelessly in their virtual world, happy there is a place they can go and truly be free, even if it's anarchy.

I've been trying to get a Kalon for about two to three months now, because that's when I actually realized how amazing Kalons are! The first Kalon I tried out for was Kalon #60. (But that was when I didn't know anything about Kalons.)


Have you thought up any Kalon character concepts? Tell me about your favorite idea!
I have but all of them are really cliche. :/ I can't think of any good ones at the moment?
One was about a Kalon faking their death because they wanted a new life.
Another one was about a Kalon growing up with strict parents, so they moved halfway across the world.
