His first day on Earth
"L-Lysander..." His mother's voice trailed off. He sat up, sweating. Where was he? He was in an unusual place. He was sitting in a flat bed. There was wood colored mahogany on the floor and wooden frames filled with a transparent screen for walls. He tried to remember what had happened the previous day. He hit the side of his head over and over, struggling to remember what had happened. "Y-Young God.. What are you doing?" A young female Kalon entered the room with warm tea. He moved to the corner of his bed, frightened at the sight of another life form. She had the same body structure as him, except with different, more dull colors and tattered clothing. He, on the other hand, had expensive-looking clothing made of silk. "What is your name?" She asked him. Of course, he did not respond, for he did not know their language, nor did he understand what she was saying. He pointed to his lips and ears and shook his head, signaling that he couldn't understand her. She nodded respectfully and set down the tea. She looked around for a pen and paper in her clothing pockets. She pulled out a small notebook and pen. She drew some clouds and the sun, then drew a space pod that seemed to be falling. The male Kalon finally remembered... He had been sent from his home planet, Saturn, because of an unexpected war that had broken out on their planet. His mother, a Saturn duchess, who was wedded to a Saturn warrior sent him into space so that he may be protected from the war. She gave him her shell necklace so that he may remember her. He looked down at his neck, it was still there. He sighed in relief. The female Kalon rubbed her chin, thoughtfully. "I'll call you Mokusei!" She smiled kindly at him. "Hmm... Moku... I like it" She responded to herself. The male Kalon looked up at her, confused. "Come on, Moku. We'll go out to greet the people and tell them that the young God has awakened!" She grabbed his paw and dragged him outside. The entrance to the temple was lined with flowers, fruit baskets, bags of money, and ontheir various goodies. People were crowded in the temple, probably the largest crowd this temple had every had. Moku rubbed at his eyes sleepily. The female Kalon called out to the crowd. "The young God, Mokusei, has awakened!" The crowd cheered happily, coming to greet the young God. Moku spent most of his day shaking peoples' hands and receiving offerings. After that, he was exceptionally tired and almost fell asleep before another, older, female Kalon came up to him and asked for him to come visit an orphanage. Of course, he couldn't understand, so the younger female Kalon accepted. They visited the orphanage, and Moku was forced into playing with the other kids. He actually enjoyed it, but later, when they returned to the temple, he was so tired, that he ended up falling asleep in his food during dinner. -at a young age he fell?
