Lucita and her sister belonged to parents that learned first hand how fast love can
turn to hate. Only, they found this after already having two children. They split up,
each taking one child, and eventually the mother who took Lucita found she wasn't
ready for children either, and she was placed in a Venezuelan orphanage. Sometime
later, a darker kit bearing some of physical features was brought into the orphanage
as-well. The orphanage itself however was incredibly poor in quality and how the kits
belonging to it were treated. So after years, both Lucita and her estranged sister escaped
under the cover of midnight. Though they didn't know they were biologically related,
that night, the two became sisters regardless. From that point on, they were all each other had. The two siblings
lived from town to town, on the dangerous streets of different cities in Venezuela. From a very young age, they
had to rely on each other to survive and keep each other sane, and they learned that in desperate times, one
sometimes needs to sacrifice their moral values to help themselves. This often applied when they two were forced
to steal food or items to feed themselves.

-as a an orphan: always tried to talk/interact with others constantly friendly.. Sometimes would get shot down which would make her sad and at those times she would withdraw to herself for a short time-Friendly, but will steal/do bad things to help her friends/sister/etc, if necessary but will often regret afterwards (but she pushes it away & tries to hide it) -Can be put down and is somewhat sensitive, doesn’t take loss well, but will ultimately deal with it again ( maybe sort of sunny, but the sun goes down at night? Represents her up/down cycles)-will look out for other people, optimistic, -only talks when necessary (isn’t random): give important information, reply to a question, to support other people, give a compliment-very structured kalon - early bird, tends to go with a schedule, always gets sleepy early (8 PM)Likes: sunbathing, going on runs/hikes, being sporty (football, Brit.), cheering kals up -always has arepas w/ ham & cheese for breakfast-also likes: sopa de mondongo, tajadas (fried plantains), pisca andina-dislikes: “bad people”, not much else is the target of her disdain.

She gives off rather serious aura, her common facial expression is probably concentrated or serious. She always seems to be doing something, never spending any idle time. Nyx has taken on a big sister role despite their close age. The black pragmatic and realist outlook on life, if something or someone isn't benefiting her or her sister she has no use for it. She is suspicious of almost everyone she meets, and to strangers shows a firm and stern attitude.

Nyx and Lucita live in a small, re-purposed warehouse just outside of Valencia, Venezuela. While both sisters work, Nyx is easily the more capable worker. This is because while Lucita is better suited to handle social interactions and jobs, Nyx is a solid worker with goal focused mind. She completes her work from start to finish in the most efficient manner. This psychological state is the accumulation of years on the dangerous streets of Valenzuela, looking after Lucita. After living in the terrible orphanage, and learning how cruel and heartless others can truly be, sh'es adopted the mindset of "us against the world." Nyx believes that she alone can protect her sister, and that anyone that she comes in contact with could be trying to hurt her. She recognizes the irrationality of this sentiment, yet it was instilled into her from repeatedly encountering malicious people at a young age.

Nyx hopes that she and her sister can earn enough money to live stable and happy lives. In the end, Lucita is all that she has, so to see her happy, to see her truly happy and without a care, is what would validate every action she's ever taken. Nyx believes that one day they'll both live care-free lives, underneath her harsh realist outlook on life, that's all she can hope for.

Name: Horus - named after the Egyptian God of the Sky.

Personality/History:

Horus has quite the complex personality, that sometimes makes him a little hard to read. If you know nothing else about this young kalon, then you should know that he is extremely loyal, even fiercely so sometimes. He’ll do absolutely anything to protect the people he loves, no matter the personal sacrifice or cost. However, Horus has quite the temper on him, and is incredibly impatient, often snapping easily, which you wouldn’t expect from such a calm, docile looking kalon, and this often leads to him acting without thinking, leading to him doing a lot of damage to some of his relationships.

Horus likes to try and act tough, often throwing his weight around to try and impress his friends and peers, although in reality he’s actually incredible emotive and sensitive, and gets upset or offended pretty easily, and does tend to express this on a pretty major scale, as he is incredibly extroverted.

Despite Horus’s flaws, he’s pretty popular with other young kalons, as he’s quite the little prankster, often doing some rather daring things to try and impress his friends, which a lot of the time do tend to backfire, and end up with Horus getting in some pretty deep trouble.

Horus and Khonsu are actually both Egyptian princes, and Horus, being the elder brother, is next in line… But unfortunately for his parents, he really couldn’t care less! He’s reckless and thoughtless in his actions, doing anything and everything to drive his parents up the wall and to get into trouble. He has no ambition whatsoever to rule the kingdom, and instead puts all his effort into his acting and singing, which is what he wants to do when he’s older. He goes against pretty much everything his parents want for their son, especially the fact that he is yet to finish a single book in his entire life! He’d just rather write his own musicals, he can’t help it!
