mallory was born to a family as the seventh child of two parents worn thin by the stress of caring for the family. he bore little resemblance to any of them - his exotic coat stuck out like a sore thumb in the little village. for several months he lived in bliss on the seashore, unaware of the rumors of his mother's infidelity and how it was tearing the fabric of his family even further. in a fire that set the thatched roofs ablaze, the family leaped into the night and were never seen again. it took him years to realize that he had watched his older brothers and father set the fire that took three lives that night. it took him just as long to realize his name meant ill-fated.

for six years he and his family lived alone in a secluded valley, only taking what they needed and keeping mallory under lock and key. though his siblings could slip into the kingdom borders to barter for food and supplies, he was forbidden to leave the house. he spent his time in the trees, looking over the inner city walls. he was the first to spot the soldiers, marching toward their home; in a flash of angry voices, mallory and several of his brothers were drafted to fill the gap the war had left in the king's forces. while his brothers sulked under the eyes of the crowd that had gathered once they reached the castle walls, mallory stood with pride, knowing he would not have to cower any longer. his exotic coat made the people wary of something like him, and he loved it.

a natural at the art of war, mallory climbed through the ranks, leaving his brothers far behind. to the public he was an icon, a shining [literally] beacon for them to hold onto as war raged through the land. behind closed doors he was ruthless, willing to do whatever it took. his opinions on the next moves and strategies always seemed to work- thus he was quick to be invited to the king's right side where his every word was heard, unlike during his childhood. soon enough, he grew unsettled with how the current king was ruling, and after a strange glass of potent drink late at night, the king fell and mallory took his place. oh, how it felt to sit on that throne and watch the world burn outside.

it turns out ruling a kingdom is much harder than he believed. mallory's short temper left messengers scattered, him ignoring their news. everything he touched was treated as gold by his audience - they looked up to him, eyes glittering with hopes he could not bear to shatter. the world fell down around him, and the throne he sat on rocked, threatening to collapse. crumpling under the stress of voices thrown at him in every direction, pleading for him to make decisions he did not know how to. amidst the chaos he realized that he could not use fame to fill the gap he felt.

Discord lives true to their name, upon their golden throne. They survive
to create strife and arguement amongst their tiny kingdom of followers,
those that believe in the Goddess Eris and her created cult. Having been
raised by the Goddess herself, or so it's told, Discord had a delusion of
grandeur and believes they have they parts of Eris reincarnated within
themselves, hense the reason they use the royal 'we'. Because of their
training since a young age, they're quite callous and obsessive. They do
not care how you feel, and all that matters is that they keep their cult
running properly enough that it survives all strife. Do not question them.

Have you heard the tales of the golden apple? The apple of discord? Do you truly know where this legend came from,
and who the true spirit of Discord is? We thought not, so we have come to tell you that we are the true spirit named
Discord. Welcome to our domain, weary traveller, and we shall tell you of the true Goddess Eris and her story of the
apple she tossed, which caused so much pain and strife to those she thought she loved. Thus in turn, creating our
perfect kingdom, Discordia, for which we were named from.

Born Crysos Discordia, son of Goddess Eris and sire-male Zeus, royalty had run through Crysos's blood since the second
he was born. The last to be born to sire-male Zeus, a man believed to carry the purest traits the Goddess was looking
for, he was named not after one of the gods or goddess that ruled, but after his gorgeous gold marking that he'd gotten
from the Goddess. Crysos was the one and only child born from the Goddess, and was revered as the next holy leader
to the cult of Discordia. Thus his training begun from the second he was five.
