He tends to get stressed easily and as a result bites at the skin around his nails as a coping method. Ever since he got the bell, however, the chewing has become less of a problem as he plays with the bell instead.

Why?: Long story short, Rogier is a mute boy who suffered from a harsh illness when he was younger. He loves life but living with Cassiopeia, who knows nothing about sign language, makes it hard. So as a temporary fix, Cassi went out and brought him a bell, which he added to a ribbon he had found on a bonding expedition into the woods with Cassi. Cassi and Ro use this bell as a communication method on top of passing notes. Whenever he doesn't see Cassi around nearby, he'll shake the bell on his chest and wander until he sees her.

Why?: He enjoys adventuring and looking for items. He keeps a pile of items he found. The bell was a fun toy he found one day and put it on his collar. It was left by a cat who had ripped it off, or a least as far as he could smell. Though he sometimes interchanges the necklace to an old candy necklace he's smart enough to not eat, he mainly wears the bell. Sometimes he takes out a marker and colors the bell before getting washed off on his fur while he runs, leaving stains on his brown, soft fur.
