Ember is a silent little girl full of secrets, she is not like average 5 year olds. She does not bounce around full of energy, asking continuous amounts of questions. She isn't even interested in touching everything or tasting everything like most would, instead she would rather watch and observe. She keeps silent when around others to be sure she isn't heard nor seen, she likes to gain knowledge of what she is not supposed to know. This little girl like said earlier is full of secrets, but if you want to know them, you're going to have to pay. Luckily for you, she does not fully understand the worth or value of money so she usually asks for rocks, pebbles, candy, or if the secret is really bad or mysterious - a new toy.
Seeing that her dad, Bill and her sister, Bell hate storms and her father, Enfer hates the ocean/bodies of water, this sneaky little weasel enjoys to go out on the pond during rainy days, quietly sitting in a makeshift raft she built herself out of sticks and old plywood, just so she can gain knowledge of what the rest of her family fears. Being quite the risk taker and just overall curious and eager to learn, she often does things neither of her parents know she does, such as going outdoors at night alone and unsupervised, poke the guinea pigs with tooth picks to see if they become bars of gold, stick her hand in the milk jug and then drink out of it before putting it back in the fridge then watch the next person use it for their cereal and wonder how they didn't notice the dirt and spit in it.
Ember suffers from Alexithymia, this causes her to seem unsympathetic and a bit off when answering others. She doesn't mean to be like this, the disorder makes it difficult for her to identify the emotions and feelings of others, as well as her own emotions because she doesn't know how to react. She often finds it hard to talk about her feelings because she honestly doesn't know how she feel. This is one reason why she often doesn't talk, for she knows that she will not sound genuine when asking a question and may come out dull when answering others. This disorder doesn't stop her from wanting to explore the world and being curious about everything however as proven above. She wants to be an explorer or scientist when she grows up so she can poke, explore, and observe everything she wants.

Relationships:

Ember isn't really close to her parents. She believes she is, but knows she is not. Of course she will play with them and often play the piano with her father, Enfer. She likes to think that her relationship with her parents is one of great joy and splendorous adventure, but she knows that what she hopes is not completely true. She honestly doesn't know were her relationship lies with them, she doesn't know how they truly feel about her or how they view her in their lives. So this being said, she doesn't like to count anything as a relation between them. With Bill, she never speaks, she does not like to hear him shout at her, so she keeps silent and only talks when she has to around him. Enfer is her favorite of her fathers, mainly because he treats her a lot nicer then Bill does.

With Bell it is different, she may not know how she really feels about her, but she is certain they do not get along very well. Bell seems to be very short-tempered, which Ember does not enjoy. She often feels as though she is caught in the cross-hares of her quick-to-anger fury. Because of this, Ember does not like to be around her sister very much, she would rather stay away from her when the family is moving or out doing something.

Certain that she feels some joy around her, Ember does have a good friend named Izidora. Izzy is super goofy and is always happy and full of jokes and funny, wild adventures. Ember enjoys this, she may not know exactly how her friend feels about her, but she does know that she has called her her friend before, so that is all that she needs to know. The two often go to the park together or go exploring in the rain or at night when their parents aren't watching. Izzy is the plumerian to go to when Ember has a problem or just wants to get out if the house, she enjoys how kind she is to her and that she doesn't seem to judge her by the way she acts or even how she is. All she sees of her is a friend, and that sparks a small, warm feeling deep in Ember's heart, drawing her closer to her as a friend.

Pets
Just as Bell and Enfer own pets, Ember owns some of her own. She owns a sphinx cat, a female, who she named Eris. She occasionally will walk Eris down the block in a jeweled black harness. She also owns one other pet, a big brown rat named Venus, he also is occasionally walked down the street alongside Eris in a studded black collar. Even though she may own these lovely creatures, she still wants one more pet but she doesn't know how to ask. She wants a miniature pig, she wants one to walk alongside her other pets, she already has a harness equipt with a bright blue bow tie waiting for the day she gets one.

Playlist
Ember has an old IPod full of songs, she brings it with her on walks so she can drown out the outside noise. She will also listen to it when drowning out her sister's short tempered shouting.

Languages
Ember wants to be in a way closer to her father, Enfer. So she is learning German to speak to him in another language to show how much she appreciates him. She doesn't know much right now, but that is why she is learning. She is also, after she learns German, going to learn French, so she can be bilingual in three different languages; English, German, and French.

Views on moving so often
This is a huge reason why Ember doesn't try to make friends, she knows that right when she makes one she will have to move and start all over. This being said she often distances herself from others, trying to be independent and without friends. That is also why she only has one friend, and that is Izidora. She has told her before that she will have to move, but Izidora claimed it would be alright and that she'd visit and stay in touch. Ember wishes she could believe her or know that what she says is the truth, but she doesn't. So she just has to trust her.
Other than this, She finds it to be amazing. It gives her the chance to feel free and wild, she likes to explore the areas and lands near their home, just to be sure she doesn't miss the adventure of a lifetime.

Winter
Although both her fathers hate winter and snow, it doesn't mean that Ember does. She loves the coldness of it, the open secretive beauty of frozen water falling on her paws, melting just as easily as it fell. Snow sparks up an adventurous curiosity that nothing else does the same. Every winter when there is snow there is Ember's kingdom, buried in the frozen ice of trees and ponds; The snow brings out her creativeness that is otherwise hidden away in the summer due to her disorder *though it is not always hidden then either*. Her castle is often a fortress of snow huddled up with an opening in the center, a small blue flag waving on top. She can be a dragon, one without a flame one that breathes only smoke and cold wind. She believes she was born to be with the snow, her blue glow and slick fur is enough of evidence she says for her to be the queen of the tundra and that she is just too young to harness the power.

Enfer plays a DS in his free time and Bill messes him up in getting new high scores and beating levels on things like Mario and stuff so if someone wanted to mention that someplace like saying she'll steal the DS maybe and play it for herself or anything like that go ahead.

for art to be considered a family piece all you really need to do is have another member of her family drawn with her, if you dont have time to draw everyone just draw one of her dads or her sibling.

never mentioned but Bill used to be a traveling magician yet now hes more of someone who uses his talents to entertain the kids.

and edited this to the contest post but the guinea pigs are owned by Bell, the hamsters are owned by Enfer. They call them all family pets yet the owners are the only ones who really take care of them.
