No matter how open, how honest, how true someone can be or already is there is always something hidden. Something they want no one to know. Secrets are the back bone of every interaction, what keeps people going. They believe that there is something worth protecting, worth keeping, and so they go on in order to continue keeping that thing a secret. Babadook thrives on weeding all these things out of a person, no matter how trifle the secret seems to be it almost craves the satisfaction of knowing what no one else knows. Be it vanity or just curiosity it loves the thrill of the chase, of how it always takes work and cunning to pull something out of someone who doesn't want to tell. The more they struggle the more it becomes insistent in finding out. Over the years they have made a game of it and always keep score. Every secret is written in their metal bound book with information on how long it took to procure, who it was from, what it was about, and most importantly, how long it took to bring to secret to the surface. If it is unsuccessful in their mission, if this other person seems to latch onto their secret and refuses to let go no matter what it does

then things tend to get nasty. Babadook doesn't like failure.

Marilyn loves to collect glass figurines! Back when she was still in high school,
her art teacher taught her whole class how to make these beautiful sculptures
of glass and she instantly fell in love with the process and the product. She
continued to make until her college year, when Marilyn injured herself badly
when carrying a bunch of her glass figurines. Sadly, they all shattered into
unrepairable pieces. Her friends started to create tons of glass figurines and
sent it to her as a get well gift. She was almost crying because of how much
she loved her new glass figurines, that she put them all in a safe display case.
To not let the past happen again, Marilyn takes care off all her glass figurines.

Keys.
Once upon a time, there was a key to every lock. Fon, as they get called sometimes, seems to love keys. Each key has a lock to open, and perhaps the lock is protecting something valuable. Fon also seems to love the fact that the large key rings with all those keys, rusty, bronze, silver, and gold, big or small, helps to stand out from them, instead of blending in. But the biggest reasons Fon collects keys is that when they were younger, they lost the key to their box, which was a heirloom that has been years for generations. Fon has never seen what was inside, but when shook, the box seems to hold something inside. Fon hopes that they'll finally find the right key to open the box, from their growing collections.

Despite the sweet and innocent vibe Aveira gives off, her collection is far from virtuous. This plumerian collects crime scene evidence. While it's not completely legal, Aveira finds herself unable to resist taking the items she knows have such a gruesome aura around them. Because 'crime scene evidence' can be just about anything, Aveira's collection consists of various objects and trinkets that might appear to be ordinary items under an unsuspecting eye. Most of said items were not involved in the crimes but instead were present when the incidents occurred. Aveira is absolutely enthralled by the macabre and horror, which is why she decided upon such a grisly collection. She loves the adrenaline that comes from taking these 'cursed' objects, and also enjoys the slight connection it gives her to what happened.
