Alrighty! I'm posting my comments. conquest; may or may not, but we've already discussed who we think should win so if they haven't posted by Sunday I'll release the winners names.

I am only critiquing finished forms. To those of you who didn't finish your forms, my only advice to you is to finish it when you find the one you fall in love with.

The two forms that were completely finished were Quiwii's and rainstorms's

I'll start with Quiwii
Liked:

• The art. All three of your pieces were of very high quality, and definitely showed off her personality, rather than just being generic poses
• The story behind the name. Most people just give what it meant, you gave a whole story
• The little extra about the ferret. It was cute, and I can see her liking a pet like that.
• That you gave her glasses like Welles. Neither of the other two siblings have them, so I think it's cute that she does.

Didn't Like:

• The coding was pretty wonky. There were giant white spaces that made the form less visually appealing. Having line breaks after every sentence tends to make things more difficult to read as well.
• The lack of information on her relationship with her family. Although that wasn't a specific requirement, that would've been really nice to see.
• I personally would've liked to see a name a little more specifically insect related. When I think Tris, I think the Divergent series, not bumblebees.

Rainstorms
Liked:

• Characterization. You definitely developed Cricket as her own person, with lots of interesting little tidbits about her likes, dislikes, personality, lifestyle, etc without just giving us a wall of text. I also love the little story about her and Bradbury.
• Coding was excellent. Everything fits neatly into the form, without much blank space. The dividers and little pieces of art definitely help break it up into manageable chunks
• Family relationships! You obviously read the bios of the other family members, because all of the relationships you have are super believable.
• Cricket! Obviously a bug name, and well in keeping with the naming scheme. Good.

Didn't Like:

• The website. I'm not a big fan of off-site forms, so I'm relieved you didn't put your whole form on there. I only skimmed it, but it seems well coded, even if I'm not a huge fan.
• The art was a little lacking. You made up for it in the writing, but having the third piece would've made it perfect.
• This is another just personal opinion, but I'm not a huge fan of the "random question" section- you had plenty of words left, it would've been better for it to be put into another "about me" paragraph.

I'm going to wait for conquest;, but the winner will be posted by Sunday at the latest.

whew. ok. I feel a bit more confident now.
I agree with the dis-like things though. I wasn't so sure about the whole website thing either.
And yes, the art was very lacking xc I really found it hard to meet up with artist's prices, so I ended up with only a couple of pieces.
I also agree with the "Random Questions" I think I would've like an about me paragraph as well, but I've just felt a little stressed the past weeks and I decided to go with something a little more, gah, I don't know.

and now, the moment you've all been waiting for!

This was a hard decision, because both rainstorms and Quiwii's forms were excellent. However, conquest; and I have decided that this little girl will be going to rainstorms!

We both really wanted to see some real character development, and although your art was fantastic, Quiwii, we felt that rainstorms' character was much more fleshed out and we could see it going somewhere.

We'd appreciate it if all art would go to the winner, and any family art would be able to be used by conquest; and I as well. Please let us know if you don't want that to occur.

Congratulations, rainstorms, and we can't wait to see Cricket around!

just a sidenote, I've been using Winchel, which is Welles' last name, as the surname. Wellbug is just the name of the ship.

I'm such a pest... I know. However I seem to still not be able to edit this? It may be an error on my part... but not sure. So long as the person willing to grow cricket (Vincible = ) is added, I guess it doesn't matter, though.

Just to clear up any confusion, Panthera. returned Cricket to me and conquest; after they felt that they didn't have the time to devote to her, conquest; and I then decided to gift her to W o o f after seeing that they were a non-owner who we felt deserved a plumie. They do, in fact, own Cricket now.
