I saw this guy and fell in love, not only with the design, but the potential too. The crystal river runs between the hillside banks.The water is cool and refreshing; it hurriedly slides over flat rocks and the smoothed down banks at it's side. On one side of the river lies thick golden hills, which had once been home to hundreds of crops, but were now home to growing wild flowers and sapling. Along the banks, willow and birch trees stand guard over the slowly twinkling water. On the bank, protected by a thin layer of trees, there sits a young boy folding his two front paws into a cup.

"Oh, please do tell me that you're alright," the young boy says as he looks at a small, elderly mouse who appears to be very sick, that he holds in his paws. The small dragon slowly petted the mouse, whilst lifting a small nut as a gift to the mouse.

"You'll be okay," he said reassuringly to the mouse, "I'm Cradoe; you seem lovely and you're very soft. Do you have a name? No? How about....hmmm," Cradoe frowned slightly as he tried to think of a good name for the elderly mouse. "I know. How about, Albie?"

The young dragon, Cradoe, spoke silently to the bundle that he held. He watched as the mouse fell asleep and stayed with the mouse for a long moment, before laying him gently within the roots of a tree which would provide protection. Slowly, he reached into his small pouch and brought out a small, torn piece of velvet. This, he placed on the mouse's back before stroking it for a final time before leaving the poor mouse, to head home to his adoptive family.

The moon rose and fell in the sky again before the small dragon returned to the place where he had placed the mouse. He peered into the knotted roots and touched the now cold mouse's soft fur. Cradoe sniffled, this would be a lesson for the young dragon, not everything will last. He realized then that he had learnt this once before, when he had been orphaned as a young newly hatched dragon. He now felt as if he had left the mouse behind to die, alone.

As Cradoe cried, he began the process of digging a small hole in which to bury the mouse in. When he had finished digging the hole, he arranged a bed of wild flowers, before gently laying the mouse to rest, wrapped delicately in the velvet fabric which he had given the mouse yesterday. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he gently lowered the mouse into the hole and then began placing dirt back into the small grave over the now lifeless form of the mouse.

When he had finished burying the mouse, he carefully arranged nuts and berries around the slightly risen mound before crying over the mouse's grave, tears rolled through his coarse coat and onto the dirt beneath him.

"I'm sorry, Albie." He murmured apologetically.

❥Penda is an extremely playful bean who loves to be active and join in with activities. She loves to go outside and play in the grass, dirt and puddles, despite her fur getting dirty. She is open to play any sort of game as long as it interests her, this includes games like 'tag' and 'hide and seek', which are some of her favourites. However, she is open to new games. Penda will always offer to play with someone if they are alone and will suggest many different games to play in hopes that they will agree. She loves to play and will play usually play all day unless she is tired. In addition, she also likes to pull pranks and watch their reaction, but this is just for fun and is simply harmless. Being playful makes it easier for her to make friends too, because she is always open to playing a game and doesn't like playing on her own.

❥Penda is very kind and will always be there if someone is in need. She tries her best to comfort and will do what she can to help, even if sometimes it's not needed. Her kindness is appreciated which also makes her happy. She is always there if someone needs her and is quite mature for her age. Despite going through heartache she still has kindness that she shows to anyone and everyone. Even when she is mad she won't take it out on anyone, or at least tries not to. Penda is considerate and helpful, and never turns anyone away. She will do anything to make someone feel better and won't stop until they do.

❥Penda is extremely active and loves to engage in physical energetic pursuits. She spends a lot of her time playing outside with her family and could spend hours doing this. She rarely ever gets tired and is always up for a race or a game. Despite being quite small, she is very strong and fast and loves to run around. Penda likes keeping active because it gives her something to do and it keeps her healthy. She likes feeling good about herself and likes to know that she is healthy.

Brendon - Adoptive Father

Brendon and Penda have a very strong bond that formed from the day they met. Brandon found her in the bushes and took her in. Since then they have spent most of their time together, learning about each other and their interests. Brandon loves Penda as though she is his real daughter and accepts her for who she is, trying to make her feel comfortable. Penda considers Brendon as her real father and loves spending time with him. They have a strong bond that cannot be broken and Penda has found trust in her father now that they have spent time together. Brendon has little experience with children as he does not have children of his own, due to him not being interested in romantic relationships, but he has taken care of his younger siblings so he has some experience. Him and Penda love to do things together, like crafting, baking, exploring and watching movies.
Penda adores her father and loves to spend time with him. She finds his voice very calming and his words soothing. He is one she knows she can talk to if she feels worried or insecure and that he will understand. She feels as though she has a strong bond with him and that keeps her reassured that he will always care about her like she will for him. Penda always offers to assist Brendon in anything that he is doing, even if it is something that she finds a bit boring.



Candy - Adoptive Grandfather

Penda loves to hang out with her grandfather. They are like two peas in a pod. I would say they are very close as they spend a lot of the time together. She likes learning things from her grandfather, and often asks a lot of questions in hopes that he knows the answer. They tend to play a lot of games together that vary from intellectual activities to physical activities like wrestling and racing. Penda sees her Grandfather often and enjoys this because they spend a lot of time together, and she enjoys his company. They have a close bond. Candy loves Penda and cares about her very much. He is quite protective of her and wants her to feel safe in the family. Even when they first met he cared about her, because she became a part of the family.



Cloud - Adoptive Grandmother

Penda loves spending time with Cloud. She finds her so fun and interesting, and sees a lot of traits from Brendon in her. She knows she can tell her anything that is on her mind and she'd understand. Another reason as to why she loves her is because she feeds her a lot of food. Of course, she loves her regardless, but knows that she will always help her out if she is hungry before dinner. Cloud and Penda have a very strong bond. Cloud cares about Penda a lot and loves to spend time with her. She finds Penda very interesting and likes to make her feel happy and cheer her up. Cloud and Penda talk a lot and spend a lot of time together.



Damien - Adoptive Uncle

Penda doesn't really know Damien well, but when she does see him she tries to play with him and get to know him a bit better. He seems quite happy to play with her and stay in her company, which makes her really happy. Whenever he is alone Penda will come over and offer to play with him and hopes that she will agree. Damien is very kind and allows her to play with him, with him joining in of course. They love to play all sorts of games! Damien was shocked when Penda first arrived, but they quickly formed a bond and like to spend time in each others company. He likes getting to know her and is happy that he has another niece.



Namara - Adoptive Aunt

Namara and Penda are amazingly close, they are like siblings! She loves to visit her aunt as often as possible as she is so kind and nurturing to her. She never makes her feel bad about herself and pushes all negativity out of her mind. She has a great respect for her aunt, not to mention she is a great partner in playing games! Penda enjoys spending time with Namara.



Nekri - Adoptive Uncle

Nekri and Penda don't really spend much time together, at least not when they are on their own. If they are attending a family gathering then they will talk to eachother, perhaps have a race or two and just stay in each others company until the event is over. Penda likes Nekri and finds him intriguing.



Amie - Adoptive Aunt

Penda and Amie get on perfectly! They love to play together and spend time with each other. Amie is quite a bit older than her, but they still act like they are the same age which is why they find it so easy to be in each others company. They enjoy playing games together and hanging out. Penda sees Amie as a role model and wants to impress her, which isn't hard because she loves Penda. They are very close and have a strong bond.



Fuse - Adoptive Uncle

Penda finds it a bit difficult to hang out with Fuse as he likes to spend time alone, though she does follow him and join him whenever he is drawing. They share a bond and enjoy each others company. Penda likes to talk to Fuse and learn about what he likes to do, or what he is drawing. They share similar hobbies and talk about them a lot.




Why Brendon?;;

Brendon loves kids and has always wanted some of his own but has never been fortunate enough. He has little experience, but
has looked after his younger siblings for babysitting or when they are just at home together. He would love a child in his life that he
can take care of, that he can be a parent too and that he can love and raise. Brendon would love to be a parent to Penda. He has grown very fond of her and would love to be the one to help them grow up in a happy, healthy environment. Brendon's family have grown very fond of Penda and love her very much. They all love spending time with her and being her family, despite not being blood related.


Short story;;

It was about midday, a cold Valentines day. The snow was quite aggressive as a blizzard began to form. The winters were never this harsh, but that day was particularly cold. A young bean named Brendon trudged through the freezing cold snow as it pelted his fur. He always went out for walks, no matter what holiday. He didn't really see the point in Valentines day and never thought to celebrate it, so now was a perfect time to walk as hardly anyone was out. Despite the weather being rough, it was quite peaceful being out there, and Brendon liked it. He had his scarf around his neck and his glasses struggled to stay on, but he continued to walk. He headed to the forest.

It seemed darker in the forest, with the heavy clouds over head and the thick branches covering the sky. This made Brendon feel uneasy and made him think about going back, but he didn't, he felt drawn to the forest and kept on going. It became tiresome and the young bean was about the leave the forest, until a rustling came from behind a bush. He ignored it, thinking it was just a bird or something, but it was persistent and made him curious. He sat there for a while, but the rustling stopped which left him irritated. "It must have just been the wind then." He sighed and turned around to head back home, until the rustling started again. Brendon swiftly turned around and trudged to the bushes, pushing them back.

Brendon was greeted by a pair of eyes staring up at him, to his surprise. He leapt back in shock and yelped. "Oh my...." He whispered softly, still looking at the child in front of him. A fluffy pink bean, no older than six years old. The bean held a note in her mouth, it was folded up. She edged slightly closer to Brendon, who was still looking at her in shock, and shoved the note towards him, hope on her face. Brendon gently took the note. "Oh, hello....Are you lost?" He looked at her softly once he had calmed down, but she just looked at the note then back at him. He slowly opened the piece of paper, that said "Love Me?" on the front, and carefully read it.

The note was slightly damp and was cold, but was easy to read. Brendon could't help but be shocked at what it said, it was devastating. A tear appeared in his eye, he was unsure of what to do. He dropped the note, looked at the pink fluff and spoke softly. "Your name is Penda, isn't it?" He moved closer to her, and instead of her looking happy earlier, she looked down at her feet as the tears began. Her sobbing was quiet but she was soon comforted. Brendon wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug, which made her feel warm as she was out in the snow. "It's okay, I will take care of you." He looked down and smiled softly, she looked up and did the same. "Y-you will?" She felt a bit better but was unsure.

Brendon took off his scarf and wrapped it around Penda, making sure that she was warm. "It's okay." He smiled and picked her up, putting her on his back as he trudged home. Him and Penda didn't speak very much on the way, but spoke about her and what she would like to do. She felt comfort as she got to know him and asked if she could stay with him, he was more than happy. Once they arrived back at Brendon's home, they discussed it further, and Penda was enjoying the company and felt like a part of a family.



Why are they close?;;

They are close because they trust each other and know each other. Brendon was there for Penda and she loves him, even though they are not blood related. They care for each other and consider each other as family. They spend a lot of time together, doing different things and going different places. Their personalities are quite similar too, so they understand each other. They find it easy to get along and like each others company.

Penda and Brendon have a very strong bond, since the day they met. They have gotten along so well and have learned a lot about each other so far despite only knowing each other for a little while. Brendon cares for Penda like his own daughter, he doesn't care that she isn't blood. He respects that she needs time and needs someone to be there for her. Penda has found comfort in Brendon and sees him as her only father. She knows that she is not blood related but doesn't care, she still acts as though she is because something like that doesn't matter. They treat each other as family because that is what they are.

The family love her and accept her. They didn't ask any questions and just accepted her in to the family. Some members were a little nervous at first but are fine now and love her. They all enjoy her company and like to hang out with her. It took a while to get used to everything but it's all okay now. They knows she is not blood related but they don't care, they just like her for who she is. Penda is happy with her new family and considers them her only family. She knows that they love her and likes to spend time with them and be in their company. Her and Brendon have the strongest bond and spend most of their time together. Sometimes she feels upset but finds something to cheer her up. She felt nervous when she first arrived and it took some time, but she has settled in and loves her new home.

Penda does not hate her real parents but loves her new one more. She has gotten to know Brendon and the family and loves them like her own. They make her feel safe and loves and that is all that matters. She does not remember her real parents very well, as she is quite young, but doesn't really want to remember them. She feels a bit hurt but loves her new life.

❥ Once Penda gets older, she begins to feel sad and distressed. She spends her time focusing more on her ambitions rather than playing. She looks forward to getting a job and starting her life because she wants to do well. She lives with Brendon for most of her life until she finds her own place, but that is when she is in her early twenties. Brendon and Penda will contact each other frequently, almost every week, and would spend a long time talking. As she grows she feels more comfortable and begins to set up her business.

Penda

❥As soon as I saw Penda I immediately fell in love with her design. Her shade of pink is beautiful, and I am a sucker for pink beans. I love her eyes and her glittery toes! Her design is simple yet beautiful, which I respect and love. I also feel really bad for abandoned/orphaned things, and seeing such a cute bean without a home broke my heart. My JBD Brendon, who wanted a family but hasn't been fortunate enough, would love to have Penda as a daughter who he can love and care for. I have been searching for the perfect final bean but haven't found one to try out for that I truly connect with, until now. I feel a connection with Penda and just love everything about her.

Why do you want to adopt?:
There are many reasons why I would love to adopt this bean and give her a good home, but one of those reasons is that I, really think this bean is the one for me. I have been trying out for beans for about a year, loosing everyone I tried out for, and only got 2 honorable mentions for all of them. One time I thought I found the one and poured my heart and soul into my form, but lost, not even getting a honorable mention. I was crushed, but I knew it wasn't the one. I have been recently gifted my first bean, Leviathan (will be in this form later), by Shiba Inu, and I love him to pieces. I have not won a bean from a regular adoption contest, and I have been searching for the one I would love to own myself. When I was gifted Levi, I really thought about what I would do next. I would keep adding onto this little family. I think this bean would be a great addition to this little happy family.

The clock was just about to strike midnight, as a mother bean ran through the park as fast as she could, dodging the trees and bushes, carrying the white blanket tightly to her chest. Hearing the footsteps behind her, she ran faster, until finding a place to hide for a short time. A big bush. She jumped into the bush and unwrapped the blanket. A pink bean's head poked out, smiling. Hearing the criminals coming fast, she realized what she had to do. She took out a piece of paper and a pen and scribbled down the words, "Love me?" She gave the paper to her baby bean. "Whenever a bean walks by here in the morning, I want you to give them this paper, okay?" The baby bean grabbed the paper and out it in their mouth, showing their mother the words, "Love me?" The mother bean started to cry. "Yes... Like that." She kissed her baby bean on the forehead and ran out of the bushes. She bolted away from the scene hearing the thumping of the beans behind her. Tears ran down her cheeks as she silently hoped for her bean to be safe.

Shy;
Candi can be very shy when you first meet them. They actually dislike talking to others that they don't know. They hide away when they are around many other beans and they will even hide in Nina's pouch or they hides behind Wolfsbane. Their adoptive parents can never seem to get them to come out of her shell, and Candi doesn't want to come out. They actually enjoy being shy, since it protects them from getting into argument and rumors. They also enjoy staying unnoticed, letting them be by themselves and letting them think, though they do always wish for friends, even though they think that they will have no way of getting any. They also became shy when they lost her mother. They lost all confidence to go up to beans and show them the card her mother gave her. They only felt strong when her birth mother was around, only until they found the perfect family.

Although Candi is first very shy when you first meet them, they can be a real flirt when you get to know them more. They enjoy talking to beans. They like to come up with their own pick up lines and test them on Wolfsbane and Nina. They are always very proud of the ones she comes up with, and they always uses them. They are also very talkative when you give them more attention, since they think that you are listening to them, and only them. When they are around beans that they know they always want attention, and will even blurt to get it, though they hate negative attention.

Candi can literally be bouncing off the walls at some points throughout the day, mostly because of all the sugar that they eat. They can run all over the place without breaking a sweat. They love to have fun all the time with other beans, especially their adoptive father, Wolfsbane. They always feel the need to get a good run and play a great game of tug of war or hide and seek. They never want to stop having fun with her family. They really just want to have fun. You know what they say, beans just want to have fun!

Sweet;
Even though their flirty trait can get her negative views from others, they are often very sweet around beans they don't really know, even though they may see them almost everyday. They feel that she is very helpful and offers to help every time they get a chance to make someone happy with them. They feel like they need to be favored by all that they meet so they don't get negative views. It may seem like they pretend to be sweet, though their sweetness really comes from their heart, and they have good feelings for other beans. Another way that they feel sweet is by their loving sweets! Their favorite thing in the world is sweets, and they never leave home without a cupcake for a Hershey's chocolate bar. They also feel like they are a candy them self, since their name sounds like the word, and they make others spell their name "Candy". They say they are sweet because they feel like one them self!

Weird;
Everyone has the little weird side in them right? Everyone can have some strange trait to their personality. Candi really goes overboard with their weird. If you are one of their closest family members, their weird side will go to the next level. They have a whole different story of interests and hobbies, as well as dancing like a goofball and listening and singing to silly songs! Candi loves the weird things that they do all the time and they aren't ever afraid to show it... around their family members at least. Because of their shy nature, they hate attention when they don't want it, so they hide their weird side, almost to often, because they feel judged almost half the time when they are around beans they aren't connected with in anyway. But if you take the time and get to know them, they will become a handful!

Nina:

Candi has a very strong relationship with their adoptive mother, since she is the one who found them at the park. They really enjoy Nina's company whenever she is in her presence, and Candi will hide in their mother's pouch whenever they feel sad, afraid, or just feel like it! It is almost like Candi's second home. All Candi really wants to do is spend time with ther mother whenever possible and they really like it when they get quality time together. Since Nina can be a silly bean, Candi likes to do the same!

Wolfsbane:

To Candi, Wolfsbane is their bodyguard. He will protect them at any cost since he loves them to pieces. Though sometimes he can be a bit over protective of them, which sort of annoys Candi, though they still love him way to much to let him stop, since he seems to enjoy treating her like a pot of gold. Wolfsbane is always the one who gets the last say, so he pretty much lets Candi do what ever they want, even if Nina disagrees. Even though they are spoiled by their adoptive father, and it sometimes gets on their nerves, they still love him to bits and would never let him go.

Leviathan:

To this little pink bean, Levi is their brother from another mother. They really just adore Levi and will come visit him almost everyday to play at his house. He will also come and visit her around the same time each day, even if they or him is sick. Being forgetful, Candi doesn't remember what time he comes to their house, and sometimes they run into each other on the way to each other's house! Their favorite place to play is outside at the place where Candi was found and adopted. Levi's playful nature twoards childeren really makes him a great playmate for Candi.

Parent interview:
How do you think they will effect your family?
Nina: I'm not sure, but they will decently be a huge impact on both of our lives. I think our lives will take a huge turn if we adopt them. I think they will be a lot of work and I will have to take care of them, but I'm very happy to spend my time with them and make sure they are raised right.

Wolfsbane: Boy I have no idea. I guess they would be like a cannon hitting right at my face, and I would be super busy with a lot of things, but if they come into our family I would love to take care of them, though I think it will be super tough.

Are you willing to take the risks of raising your third child?
Nina: I'm not sure what you mean by risks, though if you mean all the definitions I will defenatly be willing, whatever it takes to keep this beautiful baby bean safe from any harm, weather it's mental or physical.

Wolfsbane: Of course! This bean would mean the world to me and I would never let her get hurt by anyone or anything. If anyone or anything dares to hurt this bean, they have to speak to me first.

How are you going to raise this bean?
Nina: I plan on raising them to be a friendly bean. A bean who is nice to all creatures, even if they don't deserve it. I want them not to be rude or mean, since beans like that really break my heart.

Wolfsbane: I'm going to make them be careful around a lot of things, but of course not make them mute or curious of everything, but if want to make sure they don't get hurt, so I hope to raise them to be careful of things that could hurt them.

It was a windy morning in the park, and light snowflakes started to fall from the gray cloudy sky. The ground was covered in frost from last night, though the footprints from the event have been left untouched by the snow and ice. The baby bean lay in a shelter under the bush. It wasn't exactly warm, but it kept her dry and somewhat comfortable. She shivered and coughed under the bush, the cold was making it hard to breathe. The bean held the note in her claws, holding onto it tightly. The bean squirmed and yelped for help but no one answered. She squinted her eyes to look around but the cold was making it hard to see. She felt around the bush to find something that would keep her warm. She stuck her claw out of the bush and felt around.
The bean started to hear footsteps coming close. She yanked her arm back into the bush and started to yelp more, hoping the bean heard her from outside. Tears started to stream down her face as she was in pain from the cold and her sore throat.
The bean came closer, hearing the cries for help near by. Worried, she started to look all over the bushes and trees, hoping to find what was in danger. The baby bean heard the bean right in front of her. She grabbed the note and put it in her teeth and she ran for the opening in the bush and ran out, feeling the branches scratching against her fur and skin. The bean fell back in shock of what just fell out of the bushes. The bean landed on her back. "Ouch!" She said, hearing her back crack slightly. She baby bean crawled onto the bean and dropped the note into her claws. The bean looked at it. She read the words "Love me?" She glanced at the baby bean, who's closed eyes and crying face looked like she needed someone to love. "Let me up and I will see." The bean said.
The baby bean got off the big bean and sat down. She squinted her eyes to look at the tall bean. The strange bean looked down at the little bean and smiled. "My name is Nina Sequin." she introduced. "How would you like to be my adopted daughter?" She took off her scarf and wrapped it around the baby bean and lifted her up in her arms.
The baby bean, finally being warm, started to reach up to Nina and try to touch her face. "Oh Wolfsbane would love you." She said as she let the baby bean touch her muzzle.
"Let's go home shall we?" Nina said as she started walking in the direction of her home.
