Ⓗis personality is overall bittersweet, being rough on the edges, but rather gooey in the middle.
He is a great deal of mischief, when he feels up to it, with his manipulative nature, unbeatable pride and self-absorbance. He loves to make others squirm and blush, enjoying their embarrassment at his sly remarks or outlandish behaviour. Even though he himself is annoying and rather boastful, he can flip the switch easily and become quite irritable and snappy if he finds that someone is ticking him off. He can also shift his maturity, depending on situation, which usually ends in him being ice cold and serious.

Ⓑut under all that, lies the melting center which we talked about earlier. He is actually incredibly sweet and charming when it comes to children. He loves to fuss over children and protect them from themselves and others, having a rather scarred family background. He enjoys to hang around daycare centers and possibly help out once and a while. Even if his is manipulative, it doesn't exactly mean he feels good about it. He strives to be as honest as possible, even if he has to twist his words sometimes, otherwise he tends to feel guilty and sheepish. He has always been mindful of others, constantly worrying over others than himself, sometimes going as far as to risk his own body to save someone else, but theres still no denying that he is incredibly self-absorbed. He also has a love for food and as the saying goes, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."
Ⓟanda. Of all the things the kids asked him to dress up as, they chose a panda. He wasn't going to lie, he looked adorable and possibly less terrifying, but his eyes... He sighed, whether because he was tired or simply amused by himself.
Most men would be swayed by women, not cute, chubby children He thought, running a paw through his hair as he turned to the door, the kids happily clinging to his arms and legs. "Now, let's go get our bounty!" He exclaimed, managing to pry the kids off before he led the hoard of children from doorstep to doorstep.

"
Ⓔncore Encore!" The kids demanded, the two twins still anchoring his tail to the ground as Gavin tried to leave. He loved the orphans dearly, but his food might not be there if he got back too late; his roommate kinda had a black hole of an appetite. He paused, his demeanor wavering, probably because of the puppy eyes he was receiving. With a defeated sigh, he sat down on a bed, the pup's squeals of delight echoing as they all scrambled to sit on his lap. He ended up with around 3 children awkwardly placed on his legs, making them immediately go dead. Gavin cleared his throat and quickly thought up a story, trying to ignore the stress on his mind. His eyes glowed as he started, the mood in the room turning stagnant.
"
Ⓞnce there was a handsome Kiamara, who was one of the most praised and loved Kias in town. Even though there were girls proposing to him left and right, he had a pit in his heart. None of the beautiful creatures of the town appealed to him, so he decided to travel to a far country, where the women were exotic and passionate. He became frustrated, as he still didn't love those women either. He grew tired and cold, chasing away the girls with harsh words till no one dared approach him. Until a brave matador appeared in town and learnt of the fearsome foreigner. He came striding to his door, determined to ease the kia's ferocity. The handsome kia was surprised, but not exactly pleased. He let the other try to lift his spirits, until the tone changed to something that the Kia couldn't place. His heart began to throb when he saw the other and the small flirty jokes he threw at him became arrows that ignited his cheeks without fail."
"
Ⓣhen out of the blue, the matador asked the kia if he wanted to marry him. The kia denied him," a chorus of 'awws' appeared out of the kids in disappointment, "But he didn't give up, not when the kia he loved was simply afraid. The matador pursued him for months, until he finally said yes, and in the moment that they kissed, the kia felt the pit in his heart fill. And so, he learned that the hole in people's hearts are only there because they're still looking for the right shovel..."
Ⓣhe drowsy kids smiled up at him lazily as the one girl curled up to his chest and closed her eyes, a yawn igniting a chorus of deep inhales. "Its late, and I don't think any of us want to get in trouble with Miss Joules," Gavin said, scooping up as many children as he could and putting them all to bed, having to make multiple trips. As he walked to the door, one of the twins rushed up to him, curiosity in his eyes. "What was the name of the handsome Kiamara? I don't think I heard you say -yawn- it," He remarked, hugging his teddy close. "His name was Gavin," He replied, kissing the child's head. He frowned for a few seconds and looked up at him again, "But that's-" "My name, yes" Gavin finished, nodding gently. "But you aren't in love or married, are you?" The boy asked, receiving a hearty chuckle. "No, no... but I have a hole that I just can't seem to fill... but I guess I just haven't found the right shovel," He said rather wistfully, opening the door and making his way to the shared apartment.
Ⓖavin is rather quiet about it, but he enjoys to do community service, mostly helping out with kids and other child related activities. He tries to keep it hidden, as he has always hated too much attention, and with his rather obnoxious personality, he already gets the attention he wants. He also really doesn't want to deal with cooing girls and teasing from his friends.
Ⓗis second hobby would be cooking, mostly African and Mexican food. He enjoys mixtures of spice and the heat of chilli and pepper. Most of his mates scold their tongues the first time they taste his food, but they usually develop their palettes until they can take the warmth of Gavin's cooking, often handing out compliments that Gavin just sucks up. When he was small he used to bake, but lost that interest when his grandmother died, having made various holes in his heart that had never filled again. But maybe when the right kia comes along, he'll start all those wonderful things he used to do, possibly picking up sowing or camping again.
