Name: Les Mui
Gender: Male
Collar: Trinket collar
Reasons Behind Collar: You could say Les has habits of collecting, things of even mild importance, anything that catches his heart strings. With even a feeble memory; he has trouble letting go of what could bring him comfort and warm remberance. So, as you can imagine, he has quite an assortment of things. Here and there and everywhere. His parents gave him this collar, with hooks for a whole damn load of trinkets and charms, in hopes that he'd collect a little less, use those art supplies to decorate it, and still have things of good importance at his hands, or rather his neck.
Something sparkly because he was called lame, ever since then he's wanted to look bright and out of this world, universal. Something considered beautiful, in societies eyes, for every time he was called ugly, string to tie around his arms and paws to remind his always forgetting mind, designs because of how much he's interested in the arts, hair band/s connected to the back for his collar, little trinkets hanging off- golden and jingling.
Each trinket has its own meaning:
Star:
A star charm, the most vague out of all of them. When you're a child and they give you little golden stars for accomplishments... life was so much simpler, beautiful yet so one level when looked at from the view of an adult. He likes to keep this large star pinned to his collar to remind him of fleeting childhood memories, fleeting; in which a word he fears, from long ago. Winged Cupid painted blind:
Because of childhood memories[Because no one said they were all good. Golden stars certainly were.] of huffy bullies, who could not handle their own emotions, Les became accustomed to sitting alone, reading about myths and intrigue, and that is when he found out about Shakespeare and poetry and dazzling shows put on to entertain the masses. The little sculpture, as amaturely made as it is, was made by him in memory of the quote itself "Winged cupid painted blind" because true love, that which he wishes for, does not think with the eyes but with the mind, and is just what the quote suggests. It hits home and it's pretty cool.Watch:
To always keep time. it clicks right out from it's spot and zips into eyesight with a small extendable chain, able to grow longer or deplete back to it's spot. It's main use is to be there when he needs the time, as he does run around quite a bit doing certain activities. This clock with it's roman numerals was given to him in high school by his Fashion teacher because he was always late to class, and it'd either go into the garbage or to someone anyway. It's gotten him through a few short-fused close calls.Plummie feathers:
A pair of two feather dating way back in his family-line. Feathers that his parents always told stories about, both ripped off of his great great great great, a millennia worth of great's, grandparents for being lovers. Physically and, probably, violently... The story is faded and blurred now but it's meaning still remains- no matter what the pain, trial or tribulation, be willing to fight. The pair of feathers stay tied together with a red string no matter what. Plus, it's sort of creepy cool to have real Plumerian feathers in your possession.Shell:
One nice evening at the beach can go a long way.
Beaker:
Bow:
His strong need to be well liked, appearance-wise, has him using bows more than once. Just a simple blue bow he found in a shop and fell in love with. Presumably screeching out into the air "I must have you..." As if that made anyone less vary. Open area/hooks/hangers for more trinkets:
Just as they are. They must be strongly significant things in his life, even if others don't know it, things that stay in his mind and define him. The things to be placed on those hooks in the future.
